Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to carry out the obligations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education as well as a form of concern and humanitarian mission for victims of earthquakes and landslides, especially children. Children as victims of natural disasters have their own trauma and this requires special attention and assistance. Moreover, based on the results of interviews and initial observations at the disaster site, storytelling activities and story books for children are still needed. This service method is a mentoring method which consists of four stages, namely the stages of socialization, preparation, implementation and preparation of reports as a form of evaluation. The results obtained from this activity were that the children felt happy and the team of volunteers also felt helped by the activity ideas and story books given because they felt there was still a lack of education staff at the disaster site

Abstract

This research focuses on literacy activities carried out at the school and the character building of school students with their literacy programs. Related to this research, the authors used mixed methods research, in which this study used two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative. In this study, the naturalistic method will be used, where this method will be carried out in natural conditions (natural settings) by making thorough observations on a certain background without changing it one bit. During this research process, there will be no conditions that are altered or engineered in the slightest; everything is natural and occurs naturally in the field. . It was the director of education and the founder of the school who were the originators of the literacy programs that have been running so far in schools. The truth is that children at school are not far from what is called literacy; they will always meet literacy. Literacy in their environment greatly influences the child's mindset and personality; therefore, the school-encouraged literacy program is one of the leading programs both in increasing literacy levels, which basically cover 4 language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), as well as in forming superior character, personality, attitude, and behavior as well.

Abstract

This study aims to prove that there is a relationship between learning motivation and students' academic procrastination behavior at one of the Public Elementary School in Sukabumi, West Java. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population is a group of elements or cases, be it individuals, objects or events, which are related to specific criteria and are something that becomes the target of generalizations set by the researcher to study and draw conclusions. The population in this study were all fifth grade elementary school students with a total of 64 students, consisting of 41 male students and 23 female students. Independent variables, namely variables that can influence or influence other variables and are denoted by the variable X. Based on the research results obtained through the process of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that there is a negative and significant relationship between learning motivation and students' academic procrastination with an r count of -0.539 and is in the category of moderate relationship level. The existence of a negative relationship means that if student learning motivation is high then student academic procrastination is low, and vice versa if student learning motivation is low then student academic procrastination is high.

Abstract

Tulisan ini memperlihatkan bentuk-bentuk konflik batin yang tergambar dalam kumpulan cerpen Robohnya Surau Kami karya A.A. Navis. Metode yang digunakan dalam tulisan ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis, masalah yang difokuskan mengenai konflik batin tokoh yang terlihat melalui dialog tokoh dan narasi dalam cerita. Bentuk konflik batin yang terlihat dalam cerpen seperti yang tergambar pada tokoh Kakek dalam cerpen Robohnya Surau Kami, tokoh Hasibuan dalam cerpen Nasihat-Nasihat, dan tokoh Ayah Masri dalam cerpen Datang dan Perginya.

Abstract

The earthquake and landslide that occurred on November 21, 2022 at 13:21:10 WIB in Cianjur Regency, West Java Province is one of the natural disasters that occurred in Indonesia in 2022. Based on information obtained from the Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Suharyanto (2022), until November 2022 Indonesia was hit by around 3,207 natural disasters. Of these, 95 percent are hydrometeorological disasters such as floods to landslides. The purpose of this community service is to carry out community service activities to help victims of natural disasters in Ciputri Village, Pacet District, Cianjur, West Java by establishing emergency shelters so that local people get proper rest and other needs. Strategic target audiences to be involved in this community service program are communities affected by disasters, lecturers, students and a team of volunteers from UNIMAR

Abstract

The education curriculum in Indonesia has undergone significant changes, with the 2024 launch of the Merdeka Curriculum as the latest innovation. This curriculum demands a more flexible, student-centered learning approach, which requires readiness and adaptive skills from prospective educators, including Indonesian Language Education students. Multiliteracy learning becomes a strategic choice to equip students with the skills needed to face the dynamically changing curriculum. Multiliteracy, encompassing reading, writing, speaking, and digital media usage skills, supports students in comprehending and conveying materials in a profound and engaging manner. In the evolving digital era of the 21st century, multiliteracy skills also equip future educators with critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. This research employs a literature review method to examine the urgency of multiliteracy learning for Indonesian Language Education students. The results indicate that a multiliteracy approach not only enhances students' cognitive skills but also fosters adaptive and innovative attitudes relevant to the Merdeka Curriculum. The urgency of multiliteracy learning is expected to support students in becoming high-quality educators ready to meet the challenges of the new curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis puisi "Kaum Beragama Negeri Ini" karya KH. Ahmad Mustofa Bisri dengan pendekatan tasawuf, guna mengidentifikasi dimensi spiritual dan moralitas agama yang terkandung di dalamnya. Pendekatan ini menekankan nilai-nilai sufistik seperti ikhlas, ihsan, dan tawakal untuk memahami kritik sosial terhadap praktik keberagamaan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis mendalam terhadap teks puisi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kajian literatur untuk menggali makna dan pesan spiritual yang tersirat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puisi ini mengkritik kontradiksi dalam praktik beragama, khususnya pada mereka yang lebih mengutamakan simbolisme agama dibandingkan esensinya. Fenomena seperti sikap ghuluw atau berlebihan dalam beragama dan pengabaian nilai persaudaraan seagama menjadi fokus kritik dalam puisi ini. Kesimpulannya, puisi ini menegaskan pentingnya keseimbangan dalam beragama, menghindari ekstremisme, dan menekankan ibadah yang didasari ilmu. Puisi "Kaum Beragama Negeri Ini" merefleksikan relevansi nilai-nilai tasawuf sebagai kritik sosial keagamaan yang tetap signifikan dalam kehidupan masyarakat kontemporer. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap kajian sastra berbasis tasawuf dan pemahaman keberagamaan yang mendalam.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of TikTok as a learning tool for Indonesian language in elementary schools, aligning with the current digital era. Social media, including TikTok, attracts millennials and can serve as an engaging learning platform. TikTok's popularity makes it a potential medium for fun and interactive education. The use of TikTok in learning aims to facilitate both students and teachers. This research uses literature review. The data were taken from articles that discussed relevant topic that is about TikTok as a learning media. The gathered data is then reduced to draw relevant conclusions. This research demonstrates that TikTok, when used with appropriate methods, can be an alternative and effective tool for studying Indonesian language. The results indicate that TikTok's ease of use and various features make it a practical resource for interactive learning in elementary schools. Thus, TikTok can be a valuable aid in enhancing Indonesian language education through innovative digital approaches.
