Abstract

The classroom is a room that functions as a place for theoretical, practical learning activities that do not require special equipment and practice with special tools that are easy to provide. One practice with special tools that is easy to provide is learning Information and Computer Technology (ICT) using a laptop. Not all schools have an ICT practice room. ICT practical activities are carried out in the classroom. Therefore, it is necessary to create guidelines for designing classroom layouts as modifications to classrooms that will be used as ICT practical learning spaces. The method used in designing classroom layouts is an ergonomics approach, namely the Human-Centered Approach. Classroom design using an ergonomics approach is carried out by placing humans at the center of the design or the Human Centered Approach. The design of the classroom layout as an ICT learning space is carried out by adapting to the requirements set out in the Regulations of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which contain classroom requirements and are combined with ergonomic principles. Class layout design begins with creating an initial layout, then a configuration layout and simulating teacher mobility in the configured class layout. The class layout design was made using Microsoft Visio software and the teacher mobility simulation was carried out using Promodel software. From this research, results were obtained in the form of 2 (two) alternative classroom layout designs as ICT learning spaces.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Banten Province faces a significant clean water challenge, impacting coastal businesses like the Sinar Mutiara SME. In response, a community service program was launched to empower residents by teaching them to build natural water filters from local materials, aiming to improve water access, productivity, and environmental awareness. Problem: The SME's production was hampered by three key issues: limited clean water due to brackish sources, local air pollution from waste and nearby projects, and a lack of knowledge in using natural resources for solutions. Method: Adopting a participatory method, the program began with a needs survey and selected effective local plants like water hyacinth and betel leaf. The community received hands-on training through workshops, followed by the implementation and evaluation of pilot models. Results: The initiative was highly successful in improving the murky and brackish water. The training was so effective that 15 families independently replicated the purification system. Evaluations from 20 participants were overwhelmingly positive. Conclusion: In conclusion, educating communities on using plants for water purification proved to be a practical, affordable, and empowering solution for the Tangerang coastal region, significantly improving water quality and providing residents with relevant skills.

Abstract

Computer architecture plays a crucial role in the development of embedded systems, particularly in the era of the Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, and intelligent devices with low battery power. The two main approaches in computer architecture, namely RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computing) and CISC (Complex Instruction Set Computing), each have their own advantages and disadvantages in terms of efficiency, speed, and energy consumption. This study aims to compare and analyze the performance of both architectures in the development of modern embedded systems, focusing on several parameters such as instruction efficiency, memory usage, interrupt response time, and support from toolchains and developer ecosystems. This research employs both qualitative and quantitative methods based on a literature review of 20 recent international journals (2020–2025), as well as case studies of implementations on ARM Cortex (RISC), RISC-V, and embedded x86 processors (CISC). The analysis results show that RISC architectures, particularly RISC-V, offer better flexibility, modularity, and energy efficiency, making them well-suited for low-power and real-time applications. However, CISC architectures remain superior in terms of backward compatibility, structured instruction complexity, and broad industry support for traditional applications. The study concludes that the selection of an architecture should consider several factors, including energy efficiency, design complexity, and ecosystem support, according to the specific requirements of the embedded system being developed

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has significantly influenced various sectors, including the trade industry. One sector experiencing notable growth is the fashion industry. The increasing use of the internet and digital devices has changed consumer behavior, with many people preferring online shopping for its convenience, efficiency, and accessibility. This trend has encouraged fashion businesses to adopt digital platforms such as e-commerce websites to expand their market reach and improve customer service. This study aims to design and develop a fashion e-commerce website that facilitates online buying and selling transactions. The system is expected to help fashion business owners promote and market their products more effectively while providing consumers with greater convenience in accessing product information and completing purchases. The system's development process uses the waterfall method, comprising the following stages: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment. This method is chosen because it provides a structured and systematic approach to software development. The results of this study indicate that the fashion e-commerce website was successfully developed, featuring a product catalog, shopping cart, payment system, and order management. System testing was conducted using the black-box testing method, demonstrating that all features function properly in accordance with the specified system requirements. Therefore, the developed website can support digital marketing and enhance the online shopping experience for consumers.
