Abstract

This study develops a Workplace Learning (WPL) model based on the Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) to enhance workforce competitiveness in Indonesia’s industrial sector. Addressing the existing competency gap between workforce skills and industry demands, this research integrates formal, informal, and experience-based learning approaches. Using grounded theory, data were collected from state-owned fertilizer companies, including annual reports and HR policy documents. The findings reveal that a combination of structured training, mentoring, on-the-job training, job rotation, and industry practice significantly boosts workforce competencies. Certification processes and managerial support, including career planning and competency-based recruitment, emerge as critical elements in aligning learning programs with industry needs. The developed model not only adheres to national standards but also aligns with global demands, fostering innovation, employee engagement, and long-term competitiveness. This study provides practical insights for industries and governments to design sustainable human resource development strategies. The proposed model highlights the importance of integrating WPL with national qualification frameworks, ensuring workforce adaptability and productivity in facing rapid technological advancements. Companies can leverage this model to build a more resilient and agile workforce, while policymakers may use it to bridge skill gaps and drive economic growth. By aligning education, training, and industry practices, the study contributes to improving labor mobility and promoting equitable workforce development, ultimately positioning Indonesia’s industrial sector competitively in the global market.

Abstract

The Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) is a pivotal tool for standardizing qualifications in Indonesia, ensuring that educational outcomes align with the needs of the workforce and industry standards. This study aims to explore the development of research perspectives within the context of the IQF, focusing on its implementation and the challenges faced. Employing a systematic literature review, the study analyzes existing research on the IQF, identifying gaps and areas for further investigation. The findings reveal a need for more empirical research on the practical application of the IQF, particularly in relation to workplace learning and human resource development. The study suggests that future research should address the integration of the IQF with industry requirements and the impact of this framework on lifelong learning and career progression.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the trends and developments in the literature concerning the influence of leadership, emotional intelligence, and competence on employee performance during the 2020–2025 period using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. By analyzing 808 articles through Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA), the study found that the core topic of these three variables dominated academic attention, peaking in 2024. Although a decline in interest occurred in 2025, projections through 2028 indicate renewed growth. The findings highlight the need for interdisciplinary approaches, contextual exploration, and the development of integrative theoretical models to better understand the dynamic relationships among the variables. Practical implications include the use of analytic technologies and stronger collaboration between academics and practitioners in formulating more adaptive human resource strategies.

Abstract

In today’s rapidly changing global context, employee motivation has emerged as a strategic issue in human resource management, particularly in sustaining organizational productivity and competitiveness. Developments such as digitalization, economic uncertainty, and workplace transformation have prompted companies to focus more deeply on effective motivational approaches. Recognizing the role of motivation in influencing employee retention, productivity, and operational efficiency, this study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to map key concepts and empirical trends regarding the relationship between employee motivation and organizational performance. Grounded in theoretical frameworks such as Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, and Self-Determination Theory, the study examines major drivers including leadership, compensation, and work-life balance. Findings reveal paradoxes in motivational strategy effectiveness across sectors and highlight research gaps, particularly in cross-industry approaches and integrative synthesis. This study provides valuable contributions for academics and practitioners in designing evidence-based, context-relevant motivation strategies aligned with the dynamics of modern organizations.

Abstract

This study examines the role of perception in individual and organizational decision-making through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and content analysis approach. Perception is understood as an internal process that shapes understanding of objects, influencing preferences and decisions. Contextual factors such as culture, socio-economics, and technology also contribute to shaping perception. This study adopts a theoretical framework in which perception mediates the relationship between external attributes—such as price, quality, and brand image—and final decisions. By analyzing 993 scholarly articles from 2021 to 2025, this research maps perception models in consumer and organizational domains and identifies research gaps related to the integration of digital factors such as algorithms and AI. The validation process was conducted through triangulation between AI-generated prompts and human-based thematic analysis. The results highlight the need for perception models to adapt to digital dynamics and emphasize the importance of ethical integration in modern decision-making systems.

Abstract

This study is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) aimed at mapping the relationship between personality and values in the context of organizational behavior and learning. This topic has gained increasing relevance amid contemporary organizational challenges, such as cultural diversity in the workplace, ethical demands, and the need for individual integrity in decision-making. The review covers scholarly publications from 2016 to 2025 and adopts Schwartz’s Theory of Basic Human Values and the Big Five Personality Traits as its theoretical foundation. The findings reveal that the alignment between personal and organizational values positively influences team collaboration and learning effectiveness, while value dissonance significantly hampers knowledge dissemination. This review identifies four major research gaps: (1) limited integration between theory and human resource development (HRD) practices, (2) lack of cross-cultural and cross-sectoral studies, (3) insufficient longitudinal approaches, and (4) the absence of explicit frameworks linking personality and values to organizational learning systems. As recommendations, the study encourages the development of interactive models that incorporate the dynamics of values and personality, the expansion of cross-cultural research, and the implementation of longitudinal experiments. These efforts aim to formulate more adaptive human resource management strategies. The findings are expected to provide both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of organizational cultures aligned with individual values and personalities.
