Abstract

Public Relations (PR) plays a strategic role in maintaining and enhancing the image of an institution, especially in crisis situations that can affect public trust. This study aims to analyze the crisis management implementation by the PR team of KMI Trubus Iman in addressing public issues that have the potential to harm the institution's reputation. The research focuses on the strategies applied, the challenges faced, and the impact of crisis management on public image and trust.This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the PR team, direct observation, and documentation related to the PR activities of KMI Trubus Iman. Data analysis was performed thematically to identify patterns and key findings. The results indicate that the PR team of KMI Trubus Iman has implemented several crisis management strategies, such as transparent communication management, the use of social media as a mitigation tool, and collaboration with community leaders in restoring the institution’s image. However, there were several challenges, including a lack of competent human resources in the PR field, budget limitations, and challenges in handling the rapid spread of negative information in the digital era. Despite these challenges, the PR team's efforts were deemed effective in maintaining public trust in KMI Trubus Iman, as evidenced by the increased community participation in post-crisis school programs. This study concludes that effective crisis management implementation requires careful planning, strengthening human resource capacity, and utilizing information technology. Recommendations are made to improve the effectiveness of PR at KMI Trubus Iman, including specialized training in crisis management and the development of a digital issue monitoring system. The findings of this research are expected to serve as a reference for other educational institutions in managing crises and building public trust

Abstract

Public relations is a strategic aspect in strengthening the image of educational institutions, including MAN Insan Scholar Paser. However, public relations management often faces challenges related to the efficiency and effectiveness of information delivery. Information technology offers solutions to optimize this process through various applications and digital platforms. This research aims to analyze the use of information technology in public relations at MAN Insan Scholar Paser, with a focus on efficiency in the use of resources and effectiveness in reaching and satisfying stakeholders. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations and document analysis, which were then analyzed descriptively. The research results show that the application of information technology in the public relations sector has increased efficiency, especially in terms of time and operational costs. The effectiveness of communication has also increased, as shown by increased stakeholder satisfaction and the achievement of public relations goals, such as the rapid and transparent dissemination of information. However, several technical obstacles and training needs are still challenges that need to be considered. This research confirms that information technology has a significant role in supporting the public relations function in educational institutions, as long as it is supported by adequate infrastructure and human resource capacity development

Abstract

The science of hadith is one of the foundational elements in the implementation of Islamic economics. Students in Sharia Economics programs are considered human resources for the application of this economic system. The purpose of this research is to analyze the expectations of students in the Sharia Economics program at UIN Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda regarding the Ulumul Hadis course. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a psychosociological approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation, as well as interactive data analysis. The study reveals that students generally expect a change in attitude, an increase in insight and knowledge, and the enhancement of economic skills in accordance with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. There are six learning outcomes of the Ulumul Hadis course, which include: 1) understanding and explaining the theories, principles, and practices of hadith studies in accordance with daily life activities and the knowledge and expertise pursued; 2) analyzing, selecting, and discerning high-quality hadith through an understanding of the sciences of hadith studies; 3) analyzing economic problem-solving based on the findings of hadith studies; 4) memorizing and citing hadith related to economic studies; 5) contextually analyzing hadith to critique the implementation or practices of economic and financial management; and 6) collaborating and presenting the results of hadith analysis in the context of contemporary economics.

Abstract

Research exploring language disparities between men and women from a solely biological standpoint remains limited. Nevertheless, numerous studies have highlighted significant differences in language use, especially within social, political, and cultural contexts. These variations are intricately tied to the social structure, reflecting power dynamics within male-female relationships. Adopting an interpretive approach, the examination of gender disparities in language seeks to uncover social realities shaped by diverse gender roles and relationships. Moreover, this inquiry delves into the importance of grasping these linguistic variances to facilitate effective interpersonal communication. Understanding such nuances is pivotal for navigating and bridging potential communication barriers, fostering more meaningful and inclusive interactions across various social landscapes. By acknowledging and comprehending these distinctions, individuals can enhance communication efficacy and foster mutual understanding between genders.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the process of formulating and implementing madrasah policies in East Kalimantan. The madrasah in question is upper secondary level, or called MAN. The research objectives were achieved through phenomenological methods, descriptive approaches and interactive data analysis techniques, while data sources were obtained through documentation, interviews and observation techniques. This research concludes that there is a process of stratification of students' learning abilities and interests, not background segments. The legitimation process is marked by alignment with the vision and mission of the madrasah, as well as being in line with the policies of the Ministry of Religion. The allocation process involves determining time and location, such as allocating extracurricular activities related to arts and culture and the percentage of multicultural content in social and religious science subjects. The implications of the results of this research can be a reference for further research and practically a reference for policy-making to support the strengthening of multicultural education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji interaksi simbolik ibu rumah tangga sebagai konten kreator Facebook dengan audiens di Jorong Sukerejo, Pasaman Barat. Ditemukan 36 ibu rumah tangga dengan 42 akun Facebook aktif memproduksi konten. Fenomena ini menarik karena melibatkan pembentukan digital dan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia, Jawa, dan Mandailing. Tujuan penelitian adalah memahami proses interaksi simbolik dalam pembentukan identitas digital serta menganalisis dampak positif dan negatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses interaksi simbolik melibatkan tiga konsep utama: Pikiran (Mind), Diri (Self), dan Masyarakat (Society). Dampak positif mencakup penguatan kohesi sosial melalui konten yang memperkuat ikatan antarwarga, sedangkan dampak negatif berupa tekanan untuk memproduksi konten.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of Human Resource (HR) development through the metaphorical philosophy of the hive, bees, and honey, and examine its relevance to the integration of knowledge, lecturer professionalism, and social contribution. This study uses a qualitative, case-study approach. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted interactively, including content analysis and interpretive analysis of field findings. The results show that the university is understood as a “hive” that provides structure and governance, human resources as productive, collaborative, and benefit-oriented “bees,” and knowledge as the “honey” produced and disseminated to the community. Competency data collection and career planning for lecturers have been carried out, but the implementation of job acceleration, feedback mechanisms, and knowledge-based development is still limited. The philosophy of the hive, bees, and honey emphasizes the integration of spiritual, intellectual, and professional values, as well as the relevance of the curriculum and tridharma activities to community needs. The research provides implications that the philosophy of the hive, bees, and honey encourages integrated human resource development—spiritual, intellectual, and professional—strengthening lecturer collaboration, supporting career planning, increasing the relevance of the tridharma for society, and encouraging curriculum innovation and academic services.

Abstract

Kota Bukittinggi dikenal sebagai wilayah majemuk yang hidup dalam harmoni tanpa mencatat konflik destruktif antarumat beragama. Meskipun demikian, berbagai bentuk prasangka dan stereotip masih muncul akibat rendahnya literasi keagamaan di tengah masyarakat. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkuat pemahaman lintas agama, meningkatkan toleransi, serta membangun harmoni sosial melalui kegiatan literasi keagamaan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi dialog lintas iman, diskusi partisipatif, dan workshop yang menekankan nilai-nilai universal, titik temu ajaran agama, serta pentingnya saling menghargai perbedaan. Evaluasi pre–post dilakukan untuk mengukur perubahan pengetahuan dan sikap peserta terhadap toleransi dan hidup damai. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kesadaran, pemahaman, dan sikap positif peserta terhadap keberagaman agama di Bukittinggi. Program ini berkontribusi dalam memperkuat damai positif dengan meminimalkan prasangka, mendorong interaksi sosial yang inklusif, serta menciptakan lingkungan masyarakat yang lebih harmonis dan kondusif.
