Abstract

Budaya membaca bagi anak sangat dibutuhkan, khususnya dalam rangka menumbuh kembangkan potensi mereka sesuai dengan harapan semua pihak. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media yang tepat guna dalam mengenalkan budaya membaca kepada anak.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tentang bagaimana mengenalkan RA Masyitoh IX Sumberejo Paiton Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kulitatif jenis studi kasus. Teknik analisis data berupa reduksi data, display data, dan gambaran atau kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; pertama, lembaga RA Masyitoh IX menggunakan media permainan kartu huruf dalam mengenalkan anak didik pada budaya pramembaca, kedua presentation dilakukan dengan cara preparing the program, pre-reading card presentation, asesment pramembaca. Implikasi yang diperoleh dalam pengenalan budaya pramembaca melalui permainan kartu angka anak didik mampu mengembangkan pemahaman membaca awal serta mampu menjadi daya tarik untuk anak didik dalam melakukan permainan kartu huruf guna pengenalan pramembaca.

Abstract

Internalization of the Values ​​of Religious Moderation at State Madrasah Aliyah in East Kalimantan which has the distinction of inculcating an understanding of religious moderation in students is very necessary so that students have a broad understanding of diversity and religion. The purpose of this study is to identify and explore the Transformation of Religious Moderation values ​​at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri in East Kalimantan. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative, multi-site research type and uses a phenomenological study approach. Then the data obtained through interviews, observations and document studies. The findings of this research are the transformation of religious values ​​to foster religious moderation through new student orientation activities, learning, extracurricular activities. The implication of this research is the internalization of moderate Islamic values ​​in fostering or strengthening religious moderation as an effort to form conceptually and empirically tested moderate students.

Abstract

Penggunaan model pembelajaran oleh sebagian guru masih belum tepat dan inovatif sehingga masih terdapat siswa yang bersifat pasif ketika pembelajaran berlangsung, hal ini mengakibatkan siswa yang pasif tidak berusaha untuk menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan oleh guru jika ini terus berlanjut maka akan berdampak negatif pada hasil belajar siswa yang dibuktikan dari perolehan hasil belajar beberapa siswa yang masih belum mencapai batas nilai minimum sekolah yaitu 75. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one grup pre-test post-test design. Tempat penelitian yaitu MTs Darussalam Samarinda. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan 23 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis (uji T) dengan paired sample test bahwa didapatkan nilai Asymp.sig sebesar 0,000 < sig α (0,05). Artinya, terdapat efektivitas model pembelajaran market place activity dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darussalam Samarinda. Adapun, efektivitas yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu sebesar 71,14% yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan dari hasil analisis pre-test (61) dan post-test (88) penggunaan model pembelajaran market place activity terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan yang dimana nilai post-test hasil belajar pada siswa lebih tinggi dari pada nilai pre-test. maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat efektivitas yang tinggi dari model pembelajaran market place activity dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Al-Qur’an Hadis di MTs Darussalam Samarinda.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the introduction of literacy culture to millennial students in Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is a qualitative case study type. In order to get an overview of the literacy culture of millennial students at Islamic boarding schools, the researchers made direct observations and documented learning activities at the Islamic boarding schools. Interviews were conducted with boarding school caretakers, foundation heads, asatidz and administrators in their respective areas. Qualitative analysis activities consist of three strands, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that the strategy for introducing literacy culture to millennial students at Islamic boarding schools was carried out through learning analysis, learning system design and evaluation. This research has implications that a boarding school or institution that has innovation combined with the creativity of its asatid in managing knowledge (literacy culture) will be able to arouse the motivation and intelligence of students in totality.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Wordwall media to enhance students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education & Character Education at SMA Negeri 1 Loa Janan. This research is motivated by the low utilization of technology-based learning media and the students' habit of playing online games during breaks, which contributes to learning boredom, as revealed by a survey showing that 60.6% of students in class X.4 felt bored. This study employs a quantitative approach using a Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest design, involving 30 students selected using Simple Purposive Sampling. Data collection was carried out through tests, questionnaires, observations, and documentation, and analyzed through the Wilcoxon test, confirming a significant increase in learning motivation. Results showed a significant increase in learning motivation (Asymp. Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), supporting the effectiveness of Wordwall media in this context. The average increase in pretest and posttest scores was 13.00, with a total increase of 325.00. Additionally, the questionnaire results showed that learning motivation was in the effective category with an average score of 4.10, and field observations confirmed positive student responses. Thus, Wordwall media has proven to be effective in enhancing students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education & Character Education at SMA Negeri 1 Loa Janan. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi serta kebiasaan siswa bermain game online saat istirahat yang menyebabkan kejenuhan dalam pembelajaran, sebagaimana terungkap dari survei yang menunjukkan bahwa 60,6% siswa di kelas X.4 merasa bosan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Pre Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest dan sampel berjumlah 30 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Simple Purposive Sampling. Abstract

This study examines the values of Islamic education in each stage of the Wiwit Padi Tradition. Qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach are used in this study. Data collection techniques used include interviews, observations, and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data, this study uses source and technique triangulation. Data analysis involves the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study indicate that there are Islamic educational values ​​that include Aqidah, which provides for belief in Allah SWT as the giver of life, Gratitude, which is reflected in the Wiwit Padi Tradition through sharing food and harvests, and Community (social) which is reflected in this tradition as a means to strengthen social relations between farmers in Purwobinangun Hamlet, which includes cooperation, discussion, and eating together. The implications of this study suggest that integrating Islamic educational values into local traditions like Wiwit Padi can foster a more profound sense of community and moral responsibility. It also emphasizes the importance of maintaining cultural practices that align with Islamic teachings, which can enhance social cohesion and character-building in rural communities.

Abstract

This investigation explores the strategic function of Islamic Religious Education in materializing social equity for minority segments in Indonesia. Through qualitative methodology utilizing library research approach, this study analyzes theoretical construction of social justice from Islamic perspective and its implementation within educational contexts. Findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education possesses substantial potential as social transformation instrument through developing inclusive and justice-founded learning models. Complexity of identified challenges encompasses structural barriers, pedagogical competency limitations, and cultural resistance. Minority community empowerment strategies necessitate multidimensional approaches integrating transformative education principles, critical pedagogy,  and  culturally responsive  teaching. The justice-founded Islamic  ReligiousEducation model formulated accentuates developing diversity-sensitive curricula, student- centered learning methodologies, and comprehensive evaluation systems. Implementation of this model requires long-term commitment from all educational stakeholders to create authentically inclusive and equitable learning environments. This research contributes theoretical frameworks and practical strategies for enhancing Islamic Religious Education's effectiveness in promoting social equity and minority rights within Indonesia's diverse educational landscape.

Abstract

Effective communication is an essential element in successful public relations (PR) in educational institutions. This research aims to explore the effective communication strategies implemented by Public Relations at MAN Insan Scholar Paser in supporting the achievement of institutional goals. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. The research results show that effective communication is created through the integration of modern communication technology, increasing interpersonal communication competence, and transparent information management. The conclusions of this research emphasize the important role of effective communication in strengthening the image of the institution and strengthening relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Abstract

This community-based Islamic education is an approach that combines Islamic values with efforts to improve community empowerment through education. In the context of the Daarush Sholah Islamic Boarding School in East Kutai, the application of this paradigm focuses on curriculum development and extracurricular activities based on competency-based evaluation (CBE). CBE provides opportunities for students to develop according to their abilities and needs, while strengthening the relationship between education and community empowerment. This study aims to explore the strategy of curriculum development and implementation of CBE-based extracurricular activities at the Daarush Sholah Islamic Boarding School in East Kutai.

Abstract

This research examines the integration of religious moderation values in educational leadership in Samarinda, with the aim of encouraging student character development through Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Educational leaders play an important role in instilling the values of religious moderation in the school environment, which involves promoting tolerance, inclusivity and respect for diversity. This research uses a qualitative approach, using interviews, observations, and document analysis to explore the strategies used by PAI school leaders and teachers to integrate these values into the curriculum and daily school activities. Research findings indicate that inclusive leadership practices significantly influence the acceptance of diverse beliefs among students, reduce the potential for extremism, and promote a balanced religious perspective. Furthermore, this research highlights specific pedagogical strategies that effectively integrate the values of religious moderation, emphasizing character-building values such as empathy, cooperation, and understanding. By integrating the values of moderation into religious education, school leaders not only support national unity and social cohesion, but also contribute to the holistic character development of students. This research emphasizes the importance of leadership in promoting cultural and ethical education and provides practical insights for policy makers, educational leaders, and PAI practitioners who aim to strengthen character education through religious moderation
