Abstract

Pembelajaran micro teaching adalah kegiatan pelatihan mengajar untuk mendalami makna bahkan strategi penggunaannya pada setiap proses pembelajaran. Pelaksanaan kegiatan micro teaching dilaksanakan di kelas khusus, disebut ruangan micro teaching. Demi tercapainya pembelajaran micro teaching yang baik, diperlukan ruangan yang nyaman dan ergonomis, untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang ruangan micro teaching. Tujuan jangka panjang penelitian ini adalah tersedianya teori berupa pedoman tertulis dan dokumen desain berupa gambar kerja, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai model untuk mewujudkan desain interior micro teaching yang ergonomis bagi Lembaga Pendidikan Tinggi Keguruan yang tidak pernah secara khusus mempelajari teori tentang desain interior dan ergonomi. Target khusus pada penelitian ini adalah tersedianya pedoman tertulis dan gambar kerja tentang desain interior micro teaching berbasis ergonomi. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian tahun pertama, dilakukan memakai metode kepustakaan, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan memakai metode deskriptif dan komparatif serta glass-box melalui adanya masukan, proses dan luaran agar diperoleh simpulan yang signifikan. Adapun rincian kegiatan tahun pertama terdiri atas pengumpulan teori desain interior, seni yang berhubungan dengan interior dan ergonomi, wawancara dengan dosen dan mahasiswa LPTK, mengukur antropometri pengguna interior microteaching, observasi pengukuran dan dokumentasi desain interior micro teaching yang sudah ada di Bali, penetapan masalah, analisis serta simpulan.The learning of microteacing is a teaching worksop to explore of meanings and using strategy in every learning processes. Microteacing was arranged particullarly class that is called as microteaching classroom. To achieves good microteaching requires cozy and ergonomic room or scenery. To this requirement, is needed to organize the research of microteaching room. Long terms goals of this research aims theory as a written guidance and a ready-use design document of work charts to apply as model to achieves ergonomy microteaching interior design for vocational collage or academy. The specific target to be achieved in this research are the availabilty of written manual and work-chart about egronomic based interior design of microteaching. In order to achieves the objectives of this research, datas and objects collected by means of literature method, interviewing, observation and documentaries study. Data analisis are ordered by descriptives and comparatives method and glass-box of input and output in order to achieve the significant conclussion. The first year details of activities are interior design theory, art that is related to interior and ergonomy, interview to expert lectures and the students of LPTK, measures anthropometry of interior microteaching user, the observation of measurements and records the documents of microteaching of interior design that are already available in Bali, problems determination, analyzing and conclusing.

Abstract

One domain of visual communication design that can be used as a medium of communication of information in addition serves to protect the product is packaging. As a medium of communication and information, packaging is often referred to as the silent sales-man or girl, because packaging can represent, demonstrate the quality of the product without the presence of servants.In order to communicate product to the target audience required of visual element product packaging as a communication strategy. Visual elements consist of a logo to indicate the identity of the brand, the form of packaging, typography, color, and illustrations. The elements are arranged based on the principles of layout. Visual elements of the packaging are a symbol that communicates product attributes, benefits, values, culture and personality.

Abstract

Pembelajaran microteaching adalah kegiatan pelatihan mengajar untuk mendalami makna bahkan strategi penggunaannya pada setiap proses pembelajaran.  Microteaching dilaksanakan secara reguler di kelas biasa, namun sekarang telah mulai disiapkan kelas khusus yang disebut ruangan micro teaching. Untuk mencapai pembelajaran microteaching yang baik maka diperlukan suasana atau ruangan yang nyaman dan ergonomis.Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang ruangan microteaching.   Tujuan jangka panjang penelitian ini adalah tersedianya teori berupa pedoman tertulis dan dokumen desain berupa gambar kerja  yang dapat digunakan  sebagai model untuk mewujudkan desain interior microteachingyang ergonomis bagi Lembaga Pendidikan Tinggi Keguruan yang tidak pernah secara khusus mempelajari teori tentang desain interior dan ergonomi, bagi para mahasisiwa Program Studi Desain Interior, desain interior dan pihak yang berkesempatann memperoleh penawaran mengerjakan projek jenis ini.Target khusus yang hendak dicapai pada penelitian ini, tersedia pedoman tertulis dan gambar kerja tentang desain interior micro teaching berbasis ergonomi bagi mahasiswa PS Desain interior agar variasi jenis kasus yang ditangani bertambah. Agar tujuan penelitian ini tercapai maka pengumpulan data dilakukan memakai metode kepustakaan, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Analisis data dilakukan memakai metode deskriptif dan komparatif serta glass-box melalui adanya masukan, proses dan luaran agar diperoleh simpulan yang signifikan. Adapun rincian kegiatan tahun pertama terdiri atas pengumpulan teori desain interior, seni yang berhubungan dengan interior dan ergonomi, wawancara dengan dosen dan mahasiswa LPTK, mengukur antropometri pengguna interior microteaching , observasi  pengukuran dan dokumentasi desain interior microteaching yang sudah ada di Bali, penetapan masalah, analisis serta simpulan. Kegiatan tahun kedua terdiri atas penyusunan teori desain interior microteaching yang ergonomis, pembuatan dokumen desain berupa gambar kerja desai interior microteaching yang ergonomis, penyusunan laporan hasil penelitian, pengusulan HKI, dan penyusunan bahan ajar.

Abstract

The specific objective to be achieved in this research is to identify the characteristics of packaging design that is used to package a culinary ayam betutu in the city of Denpasar. Results of identification by the helpful to formulate criteria for packaging culinary design of/lyum Betutu, which can be used as a guide in creating innovative packaging design (Packaging Design Brief).This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Sources of data obtained through purposive sampling method performed by accidental sampling technique. Sampling is performed in the restaurant as a place selling Ayam Betutu which are spread throughout the city of Denpasar. Data collection techniques performed through observation, documentation and interview.The results achieved are the types of packaging used to pack a culinary of Ayam Betutu in the city of Denpasar. Collecting the results are determined based on the classification of materials, visual appeal, the appeal of practical and packaging criteria.Keywords: Packaging design, Ayam Betutu, Denpasar, Bali typical souvenirs.

Abstract

Yeh Pulu relief, located in Bedulu Village, Gianyar Regency, is one of the important Balinese visual art work. It serves as a proof of the ultimate artistic achievement in the ancient Balinese kingdom era. It possesses some distinctive characteristics, such as a particular style of figuration, a specific theme, and unique sculptural characters. There are very few articles focusing on this topic. Therefore, there is a need to explore Yeh Pulu relief by conducting an in-depth research. Based on Panofsky’s iconography perspective, this research aims to analyze stylistic figurations of the relief, the theme, the sculptural characters and the meaning of the depiction. Panofsky’s iconography consists of three levels of analysis, i.e. pre-iconography, iconography and iconology. Employing his theory, the first stage of this analysis focuses on the physical characters on the relief; the second stage focuses on the concept of narration; and the third one deals with discourse around the subject of this study. The image of Yeh Pulu relief very clearly reveals the theme of heroism found in the everyday life by ordinary people. The result of this research is defined of the theme is reinforced by the figuration of the relief’s subjects that tends to be realistic (using the body proportion of a normal adult human) and is complemented by carvings of plant tendrils that are nearly naturalistic in style. The research participants are I Nengah Sudika Negara (data collector), Luh Desi in Diana Sari (layout designer), and Anak Agung Udayana (photographer).Relief Yeh Pulu, lokasi di Desa Bedulu, Kabupaten Gianyar merupakan salah satu karya seni rupa terpenting. Relief ini merupakan pencapaian artistik puncak di era kerajaan Bali Kuna. Selain itu juga memiliki karakter yang khas, seperti gaya figurasi yang khusus, memiliki tema spesifik, dan keunikan pahatan. Sangat sedikit tulisan yang fokus membahas tentang topik ini. Sehingga menjadi penting untuk mengeksplorasi Relief Yeh Pulu melalui riset yang mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa gaya figurasi, tema, karakter pahatan dan makna dari relief. Melalui pendekatan ikonografi Panofsky, analisis dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yakni praikonografi, ikonografi dan ikonologi. Analisis level pertama terfokus pada analisis karakter fisik dari relief; kedua, fokus pada konsep narasi; ketiga, terkait tentang diskursus yang melingkupi subjek kajian. Berdasar analisis tersebut, dapat ditegaskan bahwa relief Yeh Pulu mengungkap tema kepahlawanan dunia sehari-hari orang-orang biasa. Selain itu, dapat disimpulkan pula bahwa secara figurasi relief ini cenderung bersifat realistik (terlihat dari proporsi yang berukuran sama dengan ukuran tubuh manusia dewasa normal), begitu juga dengan pemahatan tentang tetumbuhan yang cenderung bergaya naturalistik. Anggota peneliti di antaranya: I Nengah Sudika Negara (pengumpul data), Luh Desi in Diana Sari (layout desain), dan Anak Agung Udayana (fotografer).

Abstract

Tujuan khusus yang ingin dicapai pada tahap ke-dua penelitian ini adalah studi pembuatan desain terdiri dari : 1). Studi grafis kemasan (studi bahan, studi bentuk, studi warna, studi huruf dan teks; 2). Pembuatan alternatif desain kemasan kuliner ayam betutu, 3). Perwujudan prototype alternatif desain kemasan kuliner ayam betutu. Konsep yang dipilih adalah nuansa tradisional Bali dengan mengacu pada kriteria desain menurut Dameria (2014;53), terdiri dari Stands Out (menonjol), Contents (isi), Distinctive (unik), Suitable (sesuai) yang telah ditetapkan pada penelitian tahun pertama. Wujud desain kemasan pada tahapan perancangan dibuat ke dalam dua alternatif desain. Bahan yang digunakan kertas food grade, melalui tiga tahapan yaitu; 1). Tahapan ide 2). Tahapan desain terdiri dari perancangann kemasan, elemen grafis kemasan pada panel display utama (PDU). Kemudian dilanjutkan ke tahap 3). Feasibility Phase yang merupakan tahapan pembuatan prototype menggunakan bahan dan peralatan yang mirip dengan kondisi aktual desain kemasan kuliner Ayam Betutu. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah prototype desain kemasan berbahan dasar kertas untuk mengemas kuliner Ayam Betutu.Specific objectives to be achieved in this second phase of research is a design study that consists of: 1). researching graphic packaging (material studies, form studies, color studies, study letters and text, 2). Making alternative design culinary packaging for Ayam Betutu, 3). Embodiments prototype alternative design culinary of Ayam Betutu packaging. The selected concept has a traditional Balinese feel, with reference to design criteria consisting of Stands Out, Contents, Distinctive and Suitable that have been established in the first year of research. The form of packaging at the design stage is made into two design alternatives. Material used food grade paper. Two alternative designs are designed through three stages: 1). Stage Idea 2). Stages of design consisting of packaging design, graphic packaging elements on the main display panel. Then proceed to stage 3). Feasibility Phase which is the stage of making prototype using materials and equipment that is similar to the actual condition of culinary packaging design  of Ayam Betutu. The results to be obtained is a prototype packaging design to pack the culinary Ayam Betutu.

Abstract

Kajian ini merupakan skema penelitian terapan, yang bertujuan untuk mengungkap konsep multinarasi relief Yeh Pulu, Bedulu, Gianyar, Bali, sebagai basis penciptaan seni lukis kontemporer. Secara metodologis penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua tahapan: penelitian lapangan (kajian atas narasi relief) berdasar perspektif ikonologi Panofsky (1971), dan berikutnya penelitian eksperimen terkait penciptaan seni lukis kontemporer berdasar perspektif ‘art practice as a research’ (Sullivan, 2005) yang menunjuk pada tiga tahapan: eksperimen medium, bahasa visual, dan penyusunan konteks yang relevan. Berdasar kajian ikonologi, terutama tahap analisis ikonografi, ditemukan bahwa narasi relief Yeh Pulu bersifat multinarasi, yakni pahatan relief yang memiliki beragam jenis tema cerita, seperti praktik pertanian, berburu, meditasi, pesta, asmara, dan lain-lain. Kemudian konsep multinarasi dalam penciptaan seni lukis kontemporer, menjadi: (a) secara medium menggunakan multiteknik dan medium; (b) bahasa visual, menghadirkan berbagai adegan secara berulang, terpadu dan bahkan terkesan saling berlawanan; (c) konteks yang relevan, dengan memasukan ikon tokok-toko pahlawan dunia pop, seperti superman, superwomen, dan lain-lain. Secara ikonologis, bangunan visual yang mempertemukan adegan multinarasi relief Yeh Pulu dengan narasi kepahlawanan dunia pop, menjadi semakin menguatkan konsep multinarasi dalam membangun pesan kepahlawanan dunia sehari-hari dalam karya seni lukis kontemporer semakin berhasil. Penelitian ini melibatkan: Anak Agung Rai Remawa (pengumpul data), dan  Ni Luh Desi In Diana Sari (fotografi dan layout).This paper serves as an applied research scheme which aims to reveal the concept of multiple narratives of Yeh Pulu Relief, located in Bedulu, Bali, as the basis for the creation of contemporary painting. Methodologically speaking, this study was conducted in two stages: a field research (a field study on the relief narratives) based on Panofsky’s perspective on iconology (1971), and an experimental research on the creation of contemporary painting based on the perspective of ‘art practice as a research’ (Sullivan, 2005) which consists of three stages: medium experimentation, visual language depiction, and relevant context preparation. Based on the study of iconology, particularly the stage of iconographic analysis, it was found that Yeh Pulu relief contains multiple narratives in that the sculptural relief has various narrative themes, such as farming, hunting, meditation, feast, romance, and others. The concept of multiple narratives in the creation of contemporary painting has led to: (a) the use of multiple techniques and media; (b) visual language depiction by presenting the scenes repeatedly, where they are clashed one against another and create a contradictory impression; (c) presentation of relevant contexts by incorporating iconic superheroes of the popular world, such as Superman, Superwoman, and others. In terms of the iconology, the visual build that brings together the Yeh Pulu relief’s multiple-narrative scenes with the narratives of the popular superheroes reinforces the notion that the concept of multiple narratives in constructing the message of everyday-world heroism in contemporary painting will achieve more success. The contributors of this research also include Anak Agung Rai Remawa (as a data collector) and Ni Luh Desi In Diana Sari (as a photographer and layout designer).

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan luaran penelitian terapan tahun ketiga, bertujuan untuk mengungkap penciptaan seni lukis kontemporer berbasis ikonografi relief Yeh Pulu. Penciptaan seni lukis dilakukan melalui dua tahap: analisis ikonografi untuk menemukan konsep, dan tahap penciptaan karya. Tahap analisis menggunakan teori ikonologi Panofsky melalui tiga tingkatan analisis: pra-ikonografi, analisis ikonografi, dan analisis ikonologi. Artikel ini mengedepankan pada analisis (interpretasi) ikonologis untuk menginvestigasi makna dari motif, simbol, dan alegori atas konteks budaya yang melekat pada objek analisis (D’Alleva, 2005). Interpretasi ini menemukan konsep metafora baru, yakni kepahlawanan orang-orang biasa. Pada praktik penciptaan seni lukis kontemporer, metafora dibentuk dengan tiga pendekatan estetik, yakni pembingkaian ulang, perombakan ulang, dan pemindahan ke ruang atau lokus global kontemporer. Artinya, figur ikonik relief Yeh Pulu dibingkai ulang dalam ruang lanskap baru, memindahkan yang kuno ke dalam konteks tata kehidupan masa kini, termasuk mobilitas pada ruang-ruang global.

Abstract

The Bali Provincial Government through PERGUB (Governor Regulation) Number 97 of 2018 has regulated the Limitation of Disposable Waste Generation. The implementation of these regulations has been implemented among Small and Medium Industries (IKM) that produce Balinese souvenirs. The IKM sector has begun to switch to using bamboo packaging, which is commonly used to package banten pejati (Balinese traditional offerings) sold in traditional markets. However, this condition causes the appearance of food packaging designs that package Balinese souvenirs to look uniform, lacking a touch of local Balinese culture that can be used as an identity for Bali's superior products branding to tourists. This creation aims to design bamboo packaging as Balinese souvenir packaging which has the concept of eco-friendly design. The research method was used to formulate the motif design concept and the method of creation to design the bamboo packaging design by adopting the woven bamboo technique at the bamboo craft center in Bali. The novelty of this bamboo packaging design can be seen in the motif design inspired by Geringsing Cemplong weaving motif which is formed with the woven bamboo technique. This motif has never existed before and is able to represent the identity of the local Balinese culture. The color material used as paint is a natural color material. Derived from mixing mango leaves and strobilanthes/indigo leaves through an environmentally friendly process to produce a green color. The creation of environmentally friendly bamboo packaging is expected to inspire woven-bamboo craftsmen to start switching to environmentally friendly products that are safe to use in food packaging.
