Abstract

Based on a 2021 survey of 346 Governance and Office Automation (OTKP) teachers in Surabaya showed that 47.1% (163 teachers) needed training in developing teaching materials. LKS, which is teaching material, is an important part where teachers must be able to design LKS as a learning resource that integrates four essential things, including Strengthening Character Education (PPK), Literacy, 21st Century Skills, and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). The application of technology into learning resources can be done one way by integrating Quick Response Code technology, called a QR Code, into worksheets. This PKM activity uses interactive lecture methods, discussions, demonstrations, training, and mentoring. The results of this PKM activity received a very good response which can be seen from the activity evaluation sheet, and the testimonies of the teachers participating in the training, 93% of the participants who took part in this activity stated that they gained more knowledge regarding how to compile good and correct QR-Code Based LKS. As well as 53.7% of the participants who participated in this activity stated that they would develop a QR-Code Based LKS per the subject being taught.

Abstract

One of the characteristics of vocational education is preparing students to enter the world of work. Vocational education emphasizes "hands on-experience", one of which is obtained through industrial work practice activities (prakerin). The purpose of this research is to conduct a study to identify internship activities as an effort to prepare Vocational High School or Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) students for work. The research method used is to use a systematic literature review (SLR). 5 articles were obtained from search results on Google Scholar with the password prakerin and work readiness of SMK students in the 2017 -2022 year range. The results of the study show that vocational students' readiness to work can be pursued with internship activities.

Abstract

The 4C skills (Creative Thinking, Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, Communication, and Collaboration) are needed in the 21st century to support learning and prepare students to compete in the labour market. This study aims to determine the implementation of 4C skills in productive subjects of competency skills for Vocational High Schools (SMK) Otomatisasi dan Tata Kelola Perkantoran (OTKP) in 17 schools in Surabaya City. This evaluation research uses the CIPP method (Context, Input, Process, Product). The method used is a combination method (Mix Methods). The results showed that the suitability of applying the 4C skills at the Surabaya City OTKP Skills Competency Vocational School for each aspect of context, input, process, and product was in the high category. In addition, from the results of documentation and observation in the learning process, the teacher has carried out the four aspects of 4C skills. It can be concluded that the application of 4C skills has been going well.

Abstract

Revolusi industri 4.0 memberikan dampak yang sangat besar terhadap sistem pembelajaran saat ini, rendahnya hasil belajar merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang sering terjadi dalam dunia pendidikan dimana pada SMKN 1 Jombang proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan berpusat pada guru sehingga hasil belajar siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbantuan powerpoint iSpring suite terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group yang terdiri dari dua kelompok yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 1 Jombang dengan sampel berjumlah 70 siswa. Data diperoleh berasal dari hasil nilai tes, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji reliabilitas, uji N-Gain dan uji hipotesis. Hasil uji hipotesis terhadap hasil belajar siswa dapat diketahui bahwa kelas kontrol memperoleh skor rata-rata 65,31, sedangkan kelas eksperimen memperoleh skor rata-rata 80,34. Hasil menunjukkan model pembelajaran Discovey Learning berbantuan powerpoint iSpring suite berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MPLB di SMKN 1 Jombang.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengembangan Buku Ajar Manajemen Keuangan Dan PerbankanPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran yang didukung oleh buku ajar untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran guna menghasilkan lulusan yang dapat menyelesaikan persoalan di dunia kerja salah satunya kegiatan administrasi keuangan dan kegiatan perbankan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran RPS, kelayakan validasi buku ajar dari ahli bahasa, materi, dan kegrafikan serta mendapat nilai efektif untuk diimplementasikan dengan perolehan skor sebesar 83,20 dari hasil post-test dibandingkan dengan skor pre-test 78.40 yang memiliki kenaikan sebesar 4,80. Kata kunci: Model SCSS; Buku Ajar; Administrasi Keuangan; Perbankan; ADDIEAbstract: Development Of Textbooks On Financial Management And BankingThis study aims to develop learning tools supported by textbooks to improve the quality of learning to produce graduates who can solve problems in the world of work, one of which is financial administration and banking activities. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE development model. This study produces RPS learning tools, the feasibility of textbook validation from language, material, and graphics experts and gets an effective value for implementation with a score of 83.20 from the post-test results compared to the pre-test score of 78.40 which has an increase of 4.80. Abstract

This study was conducted to know the effect of Experience of Internship (X1), Peer group (X2), and Interpersonal Skills (X3) on Career Choices (Y). This research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to students using Google Forms with a Likert scale, and this study used multiple regression analysis methods. The population in this study were undergraduate students of the Office Administration Education class of 2020 at Surabaya State University with a total of 63 people. This study used saturated sampling techniques in sampling. Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that Experience of Internship, Peer Group, and Interpersonal Skills have a positive and significant effect on Career Choices. This states that the Experience of Internship that a person has experienced and obtained, the group of friends that a person has, and a person's ability to communicate and interact with others provide influence and assistance in viewpoints on how career decisions will be in a person's life, especially in this case in line with research, namely in students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL)learning model assisted by wordwall media on the critical thinking skills of studentsin the office management expertise program class X of SMK Ketintang Surabaya.The research method used is an experiment with a quasi-experimental design. Thesample consisted of 35 students of class X MP 2 as the experimental class and 36students of class X MP 3 as the control class. The research data were obtained fromtest results, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques usednormality tests, homogeneity tests, hypothesis tests, and gain score tests. Theresults of the hypothesis test, it can be concluded that there is a significant influenceon the posttest results between the control group and the experimental groupbecause the Sig. (2-tailed) value is less than 0.05. Thus it can be concluded that H1is accepted, it can be stated that the Problem Based Learning learning modelassisted by wordwall media in the basics of office management and businessservices subjects affects students' critical thinking skills. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengandesain quasi experimental desaign. Sampel terdiri dari 35 siswa kelas X MP 2sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 36 siswa kelas X MP 3 sebagai kelas kontrol. Datapenelitian diperoleh dari hasil tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis datamenggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis, dan uji gain score. Hasiluji hipotesis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan dalamhasil posttest antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen karena nilai Sig.(2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05. Dengan begitu dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterimamaka dapat dinyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learningberbantuan media wordwall pada mata pelajaran dasar-dasar manajemenperkantoran dan layanan bisnis mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana motivasi kerja, pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan (PKL), dan efikasi diri berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK di Kabupaten Jombang. Studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan studi kasus. Penelitian ini melibatkan semua siswa SMK yang memiliki kompetensi keahlian Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis di Kabupaten Jombang, totalnya 603 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 240 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket/kuesioner. Metode analisis dilakukan dengan regresi linear berganda dengan berbantuan IBM SPSS Statistic 25. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi kerja, pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan (PKL), dan efikasi diri berpengaruh terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa SMK di Kabupaten Jombang. Abstract

This research aims to determine the form of cooperation development between the Unesa Faculty of Economics and Business and partners from various institutions both domestically and abroad in order to achieve a Faculty with a global reputation. The research method used is a qualitative method where data collection is carried out by conducting in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and Focus Group discussions. The results of this research show that the development of partnership cooperation between the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia with domestic and foreign partners includes education, research and community service. Educational activities in the form of lecturer and student exchanges, seminars, proceedings, guest lectures, visiting lecturers/professors, curriculum benchmarking. Collaboration in the field of research takes the form of joint research, joint publication, joint editor and journal reviewer. Collaboration in the field of community service takes the form of outreach activities, training, mentoring and demonstration activities related to partner needs. So far this collaboration has shown a significant positive impact. The results of the research findings can add theoretical and methodological studies to the repertoire of scientific development regarding the study of the importance of collaboration in an organization, especially for higher education institutions. The contribution of this research adds to the study of the importance of cooperation, not only for the benefit of both parties but also for having an impact on the progress of institutions and society. Contribution for educational institutions, both formal and non-formal, to continue to build partnerships and to socialize the importance of cooperation to increase institutional progress, building more networks to strengthen cooperation. The practical implication of this research is that the Faculty of Economics and Business continues to strive for collaborative networks with the aim of increasing and strengthening collaboration networks in accordance with the vision and mission of the Unesa Faculty of Economics and Business. Priority programs in the context of achieving a global reputation can be used as main topics for collaboration with partners. This implication also adds to the study for educational and non-educational institutions that by collaborating, relationships are created to share knowledge, experience and resources to achieve common goals and contribute to the development of society and the nation.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to develop and assess the feasibility of an audio-based Student Textbook and Lecture Guide for the Business and Office English course in the Office Administration Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas negeri Surabaya that address the lack of updated course-aligned teaching materials. Method:  This study used Research and Development approach with ADDIE instructional design model, but the process was limited to the implementation stage after wider-scale trials and revisions.  The product was validated by a material expert and a media expert, followed by student try-outs using questionnaires (small group of 10 students and large group of 40 students from the 2023 cohort). Results: Needs analysis showed the program had no updated textbook aligned with the semester lesson plan; learning relied mainly on lecturer-made PowerPoints and conventional instruction considered less effective for achieving course outcomes.  Expert validation indicated the material aspect was feasible with an average score 67 and the media aspect was highly feasible with average score 86.  Student responses in the large-group trial showed an overall average score of 94 considered as highly feasible, supporting its use as a learning resource. Novelty: This study provides practical evidence that integrating audio-based exercises into a course-specific textbook and lecture guide based on semester lesson plan and Merdeka curriculum highly feasible model for supporting independent practice in Business and Office English for non-English department.
