Abstract

This research aims were: (1) the quality of preparation, (2) the quality of implementation, and (3) the learning outcomes of students in application of learning science in Curriculum 2013. This research was model evaluation research based on Countenance Stake model. The population in this study was teachers and students in seventh grade of Junior High School. This research was conducted in Junior High School that was applying Curriculum 2013 in Bantul region. The teacher sample was determined by purposive sampling technique. The student sample was determined by proportional random sampling technique. The data were collected using document preparation review sheets, classroom observations, student and teacher questionnaires, and document of student learning outcomes. The data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative technique. The results indicated a strong concerned between the quality of teacher preparation, implementation and student learning outcomes. The result of this research show that: (1) the quality of preparation of learning science in Curriculum 2013 was categorized good (t-score = 50,51), (2) the quality of implementation of learning science in Curriculum 2013 was categorized good (t-score = 51,32), (3) the result of student learning outcomes was categorized good (t-score = 50,59).

Abstract

The goal of this study was to develop a Powtoon animated video on Force material. The subjects of this study were fourth-grade students at elementary school SDN Kendaga Larangan Brebes. This research used the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The methods of data collection used were tests for the students. Data were analyzed with a quantitative descriptive approach. Animated video meets validation by material experts in the proper category and media experts in the feasible category. Animated videos are also effective in improving students' science learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penggunaan model yang tepat dalam proses belajar mengajar akan menjadikan suasana belajar yang aktif, tidak hanya terfokus pada aktivitas guru, tetapi juga pada aktivitas siswa. Guru diharapkan mampu melakukan tugas dan fungsinya sebagai guru dan mampu menerapkan model yang sesuai dengan materi sehingga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggambarkan aktivitas guru dalam implementasi model problem based learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA, aktivitas siswa selama implementasi model problem based learning, serta hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA dengan implementasi model problem based learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian didapatkan hasil bahwa implementasi model problem based learning dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

21st Century Learning encourages students to have the skills needed for life in the future. One learning approach that is relevant to 21st Century skills is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics or STEAM. STEAM-loaded learning can be applied from basic education to higher education. This study aims to analyze the content of STEAM in science learning for plant generative reproduction in Class V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Mumtaza Islamic School, South Tangerang City which is integrated with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The results of the study show that in fact, in learning science in Class V, integrated PjBL, which looks simple, already contains the STEAM component. The STEAM components contained are: (1) Science is seen when students identify the flower part, (2) Technology is in simple technology, namely the scissors used by students, (3) Engineering in the form of students' techniques in making circles and attaching flower parts, (4) Art contained when students decorate their work, and (5) Mathematics is seen when students make a circle with a certain diameter.

Abstract

Pemberlakuan dan peralihan sistem pembelajaran, pergantian metode pembelajaran akibat pandemi Covid-19 memerlukan adaptasi semua unsur dalam pendidikan. Kesibukan orang tua dalam bekerja dan mengurus rumah tangga menyebabkan anak tidak mendapatkan bimbingan secara penuh. Orang tua mengambil inisiatif dan atas dasar kekhawatiran keluarga, kerabat sebagai orang kedua terdekat anak melakukan pendampingan.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran dan dampak pendampingan kerabat dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak usia SD di Kabupaten Pekalongan. Pendekatan penelitian yang dipilih yakni penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif lapangan. Data diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sumber data berasal dari siswa, kerabat, dan orang tua.Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, data disajikan dan menyimpulkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian peran pendampingan kerabat dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar yaitu kerabat berperan sebagai pengawas, peran sebagai pembelajar, peran sebagai penasehat dan pengarah. Selanjutnya dampak positif adanya pendampingan yaitu mempererat tali persaudaraan, anak merasa diperhatikan, anak menjadi antusias belajar, dan pendampingan/pengawasan oleh kerabat membantu orang tua Kata Kunci: covid19, pendampingan kerabat, motivasi belajar, anak usia SD

Abstract

The use of the right model in the teaching and learning process will create an active learning atmosphere, not only focused on teacher activities, but also on student activities. Teachers are expected to be able to carry out their duties and functions as teachers and be able to apply models that are in accordance with the material so that they can improve student learning outcomes. This study describes the activities of teachersin the implementation of problem based learning models in improving student learning outcomes in science learning, student activities during the implementation of problem based learning models, and student learning outcomes in science learning by implementing problem based learning models. This study uses classroom action research using quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the research data analysis, it was found that the implementation of the problem based learning model in improving student learning outcomes in science learning.

Abstract

Peserta didik akan lebih mudah menggambarkan kejadian yang sebenarnya dengan menggunakan media komik sains dalam literasi sains yang sebelumnya tampak abstrak. Seberapa efektif komik sains terhadap literasi sains peserta didik di kelas V Sekolah Dasar menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Studi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Desain Quasi Eksperimen Satu Grup Pretest-Posttest. Studi ini melibatkan 36 peserta didik (15 laki-laki dan 21 perempuan). Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik tes dan dokumentasi. Uji-T dan N-Gain digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Siswa kelas V di Sekolah Dasar dapat memperoleh keterampilan literasi sains yang lebih baik dengan belajar komik sains, menurut hasil penelitian. Hasil dari Uji-T Paired menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest rata-rata 59,72 dan nilai postest rata-rata 81,39. Nilai N-Gain, atau nilai rata-rata, adalah 0,55, yang berarti bahwa nilainya kurang dari 0,7, sehingga nilai efektivitas media komik sains dikategorikan sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media komik sains efektif terhadap kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik di kelas V Sekolah Negeri.

Abstract

Pengembangan e-modul berbasis pendidikan lingkungan berkelanjutan dalam pembelajaran IPA. Pendidikan lingkungan menjadi sebuah solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk menanamkan konsep peduli lingkungan dan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam dengan bijak sehingga dapat dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan. Konsep Pendidikan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan perlu diajarkan dengan jelas kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa e-modul berbasis education for environment sustainable development (EESD). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Subjek untuk ahli media dan ahli materi merupakan dosen dan siswa untuk mendapat gambaran respon pengguna. Hasil validasi ahli materi bahwa sistematika penulisan modul masuk pada kategori sangat baik, isi modul kategori sangat baik dan konsep Pendidikan lingkungan berkelanjutan juga kategori sangat baik. Rata-rata skor validasi ahli materi sebesar 3,74 telah masuk pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil validasi ahli media menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan telah mencapai skor sebesar 3,61 dengan kategori sangat baik. Respon pengguna berada dikategori baik dengan skor rata-rata 3,00. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa e-module dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

To holistically develop students’ potential, educators must develop integrative-interdisciplinary teaching materials. Therefore, this research aims to create environmental sustainability material handouts based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics and Project Based Learning (STEM-PjBL) integrated with Islamic values suitable for use. The researchers conducted this research from December 2022 to May 2023. This research is research and development. The research and development approach used is the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) development model developed by Dick and Carry. This research shows that the handout developed contains STEM and PjBL components for eco enzyme production project activities. The researchers added Islamic values in the sub-discussion titled Islamic values related to environmental preservation. This sub-discussion explains Al-Qur’an verses and hadiths related to environmental conservation, such as ar-Rum verse 41, al-A’raf verse 56, and hadiths about the virtues of planting trees. The handouts developed are also suitable for use. The validator for the handout gave the feasibility assessment, which determines this feasibility, which received a score of 4.2 and is included in the good category.
