Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan lama perendaman terbaik dalam mempercepat perkecambahan benih pinang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) non faktorial yang terdiri dari 6 perlakuan. Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 4 kali sehingga terdapat 24 unit percobaan. Setiap unit percobaan ditanam 10 benih. Taraf perlakuan lama perendaman air kelapa yang digunakan adalah 0 jam (kontrol), 4 jam, 8 jam, 12 jam, 16 jam dan 20 jam dengan konsentrasi 80%. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian adalah kadar air, indeks vigor, keserempakan tumbuh, daya berkecambah,  kecepatan tumbuh, panjang tunas dan panjang akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan lama perendaman air kelapa dari lama perendaman 4 jam hingga 20 jam hanya mampu meningkatkan keserempakan tumbuh benih pinang yang telah diskarifikasi.

Abstract

Porang belongs to the types of tubers that can be processed into the food industry and chemical industry which are much sought after because they have high economic value for export in various contries. The extent of peat land in West Kalimantan can be used as agricultural land for people to meet the export needs of people, but because of the limited nutrients contained, peat soil tends to be less fertile. The use of Photo Synthetic Bacteria (PSB) which are organically based is one effort that can support the ecosystem and can increase the production of porang. The aim of this research was to find out the best concerations and intervals fo using Photo Synthetic Bacteria (PSB) in peat media for the growth and yield of porang. This research was carried out on Jl. Purnama II, Parit Tokaya Village, South Pontianak District, Pontianak City. This research was conducted from September 2022 to January 2023. This research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with the treatment, namely the effect of the concentration of PSB solution and the time interval of administration with 9 treaments. The experiment was repeated 3 times cinsisting of 3 plant samples, so there were 81 plants polybag. The treatment is 10ml + 7 days, 10ml + 14 days, 10ml + 21 days, 15ml +7 days, 15ml +14 days, 15ml + 21 days, 20ml + 7 days, 20ml + 14 days, 20ml +21 days. Variables observed in this study included ; plant height, stem diameter, number of shoots, time of emergence of frogs, number of progs, canopy width Keywords : Peatland, Porang, PSB INTISARIPorang termasuk jenis umbi-umbian yang dapat diolah menjadi industri pangan dan industri kimia yang banyak diminati karena mempunyai nilai ekonomi tinggi untuk diekspor ke berbagai negara. Luasnya lahan gambut di Kalimantan Barat dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai lahan pertanian rakyat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekspor masyarakat, namun karena terbatasnya unsur hara yang dikandungnya, tanah gambut cenderung kurang subur. Pemanfaatan Bakteri Foto Sintetis (PSB) yang berbasis organik merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat menunjang ekosistem dan dapat meningkatkan produksi porang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konsentrasi dan interval terbaik penggunaan Photo Synthetic Bacteria (PSB) pada media gambut terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil porang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jl. Purnama II, Desa Parit Tokaya, Kecamatan Pontianak Selatan, Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2022 sampai dengan bulan Januari 2023. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan yaitu pengaruh konsentrasi larutan PSB dan selang waktu pemberian dengan 9 perlakuan. Percobaan diulang sebanyak 3 kali terhadap 3 sampel tanaman, sehingga terdapat 81 tanaman polibag. The research objective was to determine the best dose of urea fertiliser composited with green manure on the growth and yield of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc rice on alluvial soil. The research was conducted at Jalan Sepakat 2, Pontianak from August to December 2023. This study used a completely randomised design consisting of 1 factor. The factor tested was the application of urea fertiliser with green manure composition. consists of 5 treatment levels: (A) 100 kg/ha urea and 500 kg/ha green manure, (B) 150 kg/ha urea and 450 kg/ha green manure, (C) 200 kg/ha urea and 400 kg/ha green manure, (D) 250 kg/ha urea and 350 kg/ha green manure, and (E) 300 kg/ha urea, with 5 replications. The observed variables were: plant height, number of tillers, number of productive tillers, leaf blade colour index, plant dry weight, panicle length, number of filled grains per panicle, number of empty grains per panicle, number of panicles per clump, 1000 seed weight, grain weight per clump, and grain loss per panicle. The results showed that the composition of the doses of urea and green manure 250 and 350 kg/ha can streamline the use of urea fertiliser by 17% equivalent to 50 kg/ha in producing growth and yield of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc rice plants on alluvial soils.

Abstract

The Cauliflower (Brassica oleraceae var botrytis L.) is a potential horticultural commodity that has great prospects for intensive development in the lowlands. The vitamin and fiber content in cauliflower is so abundant that it is very good for the human body. Cauliflowers can be cultivated on several types of mineral soil, one of which is acid sulfate mineral soil. Problems in acid sulfate mineral soils contain high clay, high soil acidity, a pyrite layer, and nutrient deficiencies. Efforts can be made to support the growth of cauliflower by applying a soil saturated culture system, providing combination of goat manure + bioboost + dolomite, and using lowland cauliflower varieties. The research location is at Golden River Camp Kalimas Village, Sungai Kakap District, Kubu Raya Regency. The research took place from July to November, 2023. The research design used was a Split Block Design, consisting of 2 treatment factors and repeated 3 times and consisting of 4 sample plants. The first factor is the variety as the main plot with 2 treatment levels (Larissa and Snow White) and the second factor is the combination of ts (goat manure ton/ha + bioboost ml/l + dolomite ton/ha) as a subplot with 4 treatment levels. The variables observed in this study consisted of the number of leaves (strands), leaf area (cm2), fresh weight of upper plants (g), dry weight of upper plants (g), age of flower appearance (hst), crop diameter (g) and crop weight (g). The results showed that there was a different response between the two varieties and the combination of goat manure + bioboost + dolomite on the growth and yield of cauliflower, The Larissa variety showed better growth and yield when compared to the Snow white variety and the combination of goat manure 10 tons/ha + bioboost 15 ml/l + dolomite 2 tons/ha can increase the growth and yield of cauliflower better than other ts combinations on tidal acid sulphate soil with soil  saturated culture system.
