Abstract

Character Education Strengthen (PPK), that consists of social care characther education, is applied at SMP 1 Karangtengah. The purposes of this study are: (1) Describing the implementation of social character education in Social Science learning. (2) Describing how the school culture in implementing social care character. (3) Describing the obstacles in the implementation of social care character education in SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah. This is a qualitative descriptive study. Researchers conducted observations, interviews, and documentation. Analysis date uses reduction data, display data, and conclusions. The technique of data validity uses triangulation technique and triangulation source. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of educational character of social care starting from preparation of learning, the implementation of learning and evaluation of learning have been going well. (2) The school culture implemented in SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah already supports the inculcation of social caring character in the students. (3) Obstacles experienced in the implementation of social care character education in the form of obstacles from IPS teachers, differences in the level of understanding of students, and the influence of the outside environment. Penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) diantaranya terdiri dari karakter peduli sosial sudah diterapkan di SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) Mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli sosial dalam pembelajaran IPS. (2) Mendeskripsikan bagaimana budaya sekolah dalam penanaman karakter peduli sosial. (3) Menjelaskan hambatanhambatan dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli sosial di SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengimplementasian pendidikan karakter peduli sosial mulai dari persiapan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran sudah berjalan dengan baik; (2). Budaya sekolah yang diterapkan di SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah sudah mendukung penanaman karakter peduli sosial pada siswa. (3). Hambatan yang dialami dalam berupa hambatan dari guru IPS, perbedaan tingkat pemahaman siswa, serta pengaruh lingkungan luar.

Abstract

Based on the fact in the field that the students learning outcomes using a variety of lecturing methods on social science learning process are not yet completely successful. The aim of this research is to know the students learning outcomes comparison between role-playing method and lecturing methods on the social science learning process of first-grade students of junior high school 2 Jakenan Pati. The result of this study shows that there is significant differentiation in students learning outcomes in the experimental group compared control group. The effective observation result is on 16,58 range score which means being in a medium category and the control group is on 16,26 range score which means in a medium category too. Based on t-test results, the deviation score between the learning outcomes on the experimental group and control group is 3,249, a score of thing > t-table (3,249>2,397). The experimental group got increasing learning outcomes to range on 22,76 and 10,69 for the control group.

Abstract

Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) is a popular medium used among white oyster mushroom seedlings. The source of nutrition in this PDA media comes from potato decoction extract, because potatoes have a high carbohydrate content, where in every 100 grams of potatoes contain 85.6 g carbohydrates, 0.3 g protein, and 0.1 g fat. This study aims to determine the effect of concentration and obtain a concentration of potato extract that provides the best growth of F0 seed mycelium. The study was conducted using an experimental method using Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with one factor treatment, namely the difference in potato extract concentration on PDA media, namely with 6 levels of potato extract concentration of 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% and 35%. The data analysis method using Anova tables is carried out with DNMRT and qualitative descriptive. The results showed that the concentration of potato extract on PDA media had a significant effect on the growth of F0 seed mycelium of white oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus) and at a concentration of 25% had provided the best growth.  Keywords: Potato Dextrose Agar, Mycelium Growth, White Oyster Mushroom INTISARIPotato Dextrose Agar (PDA) merupakan media yang populer digunakan dikalangan pembibit jamur tiram putih. Sumber nutrisi pada media PDA ini berasal dari ekstrak rebusan kentang, karena kentang memiliki kandungan karbohidrat yang tinggi, dimana dalam  setiap 100 gram kentang mengandung karbohidrat  85,6 g, protein 0,3 g, dan lemak 0,1 g. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi dan mendapatkan konsetrasi ekstrak kentang yang memberikan pertumbuhan miselium bibit F0 terbaik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan  metode eksperimental menggunakan  Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan satu faktor yaitu perbedaan konsentrasi ekstrak kentang pada media PDA, yaitu dengan 6 tingkat konsentrasi ekstrak  kentang  10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% dan 35%. Metode analisis data menggunakan tabel Anova dilanjukan dengan DNMRT dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi ekstrak kentang  pada media PDA berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan miselium bibit F0 jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus) dan pada konsentrasi 25 % telah memberikan pertumbuhan terbaik. Kata kunci: Potato Dextrose Agar, Pertumbuhan Miselium, Jamur Tiram Putih

Abstract

Grapes are one of the prima donna plants in tropical climates, but the cultivation techniques are not widely known by the general public, especially when cultivated in the yard. Teratai Village, Muara Bulian District, has a tropical climate which is quite supportive of grape cultivation. Many people's home gardens have potential but are not utilized optimally for cultivating useful fruit plants. Because of this, we are holding community empowerment activities through the use of house yards by applying science and technology for cultivating Ninel and Academic grape varieties to the residents. The implementation of this dedication will later be very beneficial for the knowledge, creativity of residents in utilizing the yard of the house and the realization of the wine village area. The method of implementing the service is carried out by providing counseling and direct demonstrations on making planting media, making organic fertilizer specifically for grapes, cultivation techniques, and grapevine care techniques. The results of the implementation of the service are the adoption, interest, knowledge, innovation, and creativity of the residents in utilizing the yard of the house with grape cultivation techniques, and the achievement of efforts to increase the income of the residents' households. This community service activity was successful, as evidenced by the fact that dozens of residents and the Teratai Village administration who were invited were fully present at each stage of the activity, resulting in an increase in the knowledge, innovation and creativity of the residents regarding the cultivation of ninel grapes and academic grapes in their yards.

Abstract

Good and attractive product packaging and labeling techniques are needed to support a food product. Not all producers or food business actors such as as Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) can apply modern packaging techniques. Until now, product packaging is still a problem for food business actors, especially Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Problems about product packaging and labels are sometimes an obstacle for the development or progress of a food processing business. The problem that occurs in snack food business actors in Rantau Puri Village is that people do not know how to package snack products in an attractive way so that buyers can easily identify them. The purpose of community service activities in Rantau Puri Village is through the transfer of knowledge and technology of snack packaging so that it is easily recognized by the market and to increase the number of processed snack products that can be produced and marketed. Packaging and labeling in the context of marketing food products is very important to do. Activities in this community service are in the form of mentoring, counseling and training for joint business groups and individual businesses specifically for micro-enterprises in the field of snack food processing, such as Balado sweet potato chips, banana chips, peanut brittle and fish crackers in Pematang Gajah Village, Jambi District Outside the City, Muaro Regency. Jambi. In addition to functioning as a means of protecting the product, packaging also increases the attractiveness of consumers to buy a certain product. Serving snacks that are packaged in clean, nice, waterproof containers will certainly increase sales. In addition to the most important thing from this packaging activity is labeling. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Menganalisis biaya dan tingkat pendapatan usaha pengolahan ikan patin (Studi kasus Usaha Kecil Menengah Tunas Baru di Desa Pudak Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Kabupaten Muaro Jambi). Pemilihan lokus penelitian atas pertimbangan kasus tertentu, dimana UKM ini memiliki ciri kusus dan eksistensinya sudah sangat lama diusahakan di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan September 2024 sampai dengan bulan November 2024. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa; Struktur biaya, penerimaan dan pendapatan usaha pengolahan ikan patin UKM “Tunas Baru” di Desa Pudak Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Kabupaten Muaro Jambi terdiri dari biaya penyusutan alat produksi, pajak bumi bangunan, biaya variabel/biaya bahan baku,biaya tenaga kerja, kemasan, listrik, dan gas. Total biaya produksi pengolahan abon dan kerupuk duri ikan patin adalah sebesar Rp697.171.133,-/tahun. Nilai penerimaan usaha pengolahan ikan patin UKM “Tunas Baru” di Desa Pudak Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Kabupaten Muaro Jambi adalah sebesar Rp1.305.600.000,-/tahun, atau sebesar Rp108.800.000,-/bulan atai sebesar Rp13.600.000,-/produksi, sedangkan nilai pendapatan usaha pengolahan ikan patin adalah sebesar Rp608.428.867,-/tahun atau sebesar Rp50.702.406,-/bulan atau sebesar Rp6.337.801,-/produksi.

Abstract

Kelurahan Teratai merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang terdapat di kecamatan Muara Bulian, Kabupaten Batang hari yang memiliki mitra usaha yang bergerak di bidang UMKM dengan nama usaha “Mitra Sari” yang memasarkan produk olahan minuman bandrek sari jahe “cap jamprit”. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penurunan minat masyarakat terhadap minuman tradisional, seperti bandrek. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menentukan strategi yang tepat dalam upaya mengembangkan usaha minuman bandrek sari jahe “cap jamprit”. Metode pengabdian yang digunakan adalah dengan sosialisasi, pendapingan dan menganalisis seara deskriptif kualitatif strategi pengebangan usaha dengan analisis SWOT. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang tepat untuk mengembangkan usaha ini adalah strategi SO. Dengan memanfaatkan minat konsumen dan kemampuan inovasi produk baru seperti inovasi model kemasan dan memperbarui bentuk bandrek dari kristal menjadi cair seperti sirup dengan cita rasa yang lebih pedas dapat mengembangkan strategi SO yang efektif untuk mencapai pertumbuhan dan keberhasilan usaha minuman bandrek sari jahe “cap jamprit”. Karena strategi ini menentukan pentingnya memahami kebutuhan konsumen, mengembangkan produk baru yang inovatif, dan memanfaatkan peluang pasar yang ada. Pengabdian masyarakat ini juga mefokuskan pentingnya peran dinas pengembangan UMKM (DISDAGKOP dan UMKM) dalam mendukung pengembangan UMKM di kabupaten Batang Hari. DISDAGKOP dan UMKM memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan bimbingan, penyuluhan, pendidikan, dan pelatihan kepada pelaku UMKM. Secara keseluruhan, pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan rekomendasi strategi pengembangan usaha yang dapat diterapkan oleh usaha minuman bandrek sari jahe “cap jamprit” di kecamatan muara bulian Kabupaten Batang Hari.

Abstract

This study aims to compare technical efficiency (TE), technology gap ratio (TGR) and metafrontier technical efficiency (MTE) of oil palm smallholder oil palm in Sumatra according to their management patterns using data from the 2014 Estate Cultivation Household Survey by BPS-Statistics Indonesia. The result showed that the characteristics of oil palm smallholder production in Sumatra was on the Increasing Return to Scale. The average technical efficiency level of smallholders in Sumatra was 70% for the frontier, 69% for the metafrontier and a technology gap ratio of 99%.   The technical efficiency score for supported smallholders which was higher than the independent smallholders. There is still room to improve the management capabilities of independent smallholders by improving the education level of smallholders.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi lingkungan eksternal dan internal, untuk menganalisis posisi produk benih padi bersertifikat serta untuk menganalisis strategi pemasaran dan distribusi benih padi unggul bersertifikat di Balai Benih Induk Padi Provinsi Jambi. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan konsep manajemen strategi pemasaran dan mengevaluasi perhitungan perubahan lingkungan internal dan eksternal, dimana data dan informasi yang terkumpul diolah dan di analisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Untuk analisis posisi produk benih padi bersertifikat menggunakan Matrik BCG. Selanjutnya untuk strategi pemasaran benih padi unggul bersertifikat menggunakan Analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kondisi lingkungan internal Balai Benih Induk Provinsi Jambi, memiliki nilai kekuatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan nilai kelemahan. Sedangkan kondisi lingkungan eksternal Balai Benih Induk Padi Provinsi Jambi memiliki nilai peluang yang lebih tinggi dari pada nilai ancaman. Ini berarti lingkungan internal dan eksternal Balai Benih Induk Padi Provinsi Jambi sudah efektif. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis posisi produk benih padi unggul bersertifikat di Balai Benih Induk Padi Provinsi Jambi pada matriks BCG berada pada kuadran “Cash Cow”. Untuk strategi pemasaran benih padi bersertifikat di Balai Benih Induk Padi Provinsi Jambi, posisi yang telah diketahui dalam matriks posisi SWOT. Strategi pemasaran dan distribusi benih padi unggul bersertifikat di Balai Benih Induk Padi Provinsi Jambi saat ini secara ekonomis telah efisien.
