Abstract

Emissions are substances, energy and or other components resulting from an activity which enter and or in the ambient air of stuffed into that have and or have no potential as polluter. On-campus UNNES emissions resulting from two sources, namely, from motor vehicles and the use of the genset. The population of this study is the tree and emissions. The variable in this study i.e. the distribution of the trees, the fuel consumption and carbondioxide emissions of the oil, the ability of tree in absorbing emissions. Data analysis technique use is describtive analysis, analysis of the quantity of emissions, absorptions analysis and comparison analysis. The result showedthat the area that has the most land is the Rectorat, ith a total of 10.264 tree. Total direct emissions generated in the campus UNNES is 1,395,709.52 Kg/year, and emission absorption by trees in UNNES is 6,289,250.38 Kg/year. This means that all existing on-campus area of UNNES was able to absorb the emissions it generates. This research shows that the more wide open green space then the number of trees that exist therein are also more and more, but the number of trees that many donot guarantee the magnitude of emission absorption ability on a tree because every region has different in absorbing emissions. Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of learning geography subject of the water cycle by using the medium of the comic strip in class X MAN IPS in terms of learning outcomes, level of activity, and student responses. Effectiveness criteria in the study were: (1) the classical mastery learning, (2) the achievement of student activities, and (3) feedback/ student’s response of the learning. The research design was Pre-Experiment Design with the design of pre-test and post-test group the performed in MAN Purwodadi with the subject of class X IPS 1 totaling 32 students. The result showed that in classical learning completeness reached 81,56%, so the criteria is very effective. Student activity classically reached 75,84% thus qualifies as quite effective, while the student’s responses to learning falls within the criteria that is 79,8% effective enough. Based on the above results is said to be effective if the three criteria which consists of learning outcomes, student learning activities, and the positive response of student’s is in conformity with the standard efficacy so that the data the effectiveness of learning by using media comic strip in the classroom X IPS 1 MAN Purwodadi effective enough to very effective. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat efektivitas pembelajaran geografi pokok bahasan siklus air dengan menggunakan media komik strip pada siswa kelas X IPS MAN dari segi hasil belajar, tingkat aktivitas, dan tanggapan siswa. Kriteria efektivitas dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal, (2) ketercapaian aktivitas siswa, dan (3) tanggapan/ respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Desain penelitian ini adalah Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan rancangan pretest and post-test group yang dilakukan di MAN Purwodadi dengan subjek kelas X IPS 1 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal mencapai 81,56% sehingga pada kriteria ini sangat efektif. Aktivitas belajar siswa secara klasikal mencapai 75,84% sehingga masuk dalam kriteria cukup efektif, sedangkan tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran masuk dalam kriteria cukup efektif yaitu 79,8%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas dikatakan efektif apabila ketiga kriteria yang terdiri dari hasil belajar, aktivitas belajar siswa, dan respon positif siswa sudah sesuai dengan standart efektivitas sehingga data efektivitas pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media komik strip dalam pembelajaran di kelas X IPS 1 MAN Purwodadi cukup efektif hingga sangat efektif.

Abstract

This study is aiming to identify the effectiveness of natural roaming approach by using group investigation model on atmospheric materials in class X SMA N 1 Bawang. The criteria of effectiveness in this research are: 1) the ability of teacher in managing learning; 2)the mastery of students learning outcomes classically; 3) an achievement of students activity ; 4) students’ positive responses to the learning system. Design of this research is a pre-experimental study which had been conducted in SMA N 1 Bawang with the subject of class X IPS 3 which consists of 32 students. The result of the study shows that the teacher’s ability in managing the learning reach out 76,14 % , and it includes into good category. The mastery of classically students learning outcomes reach out 56.25%, so this criterion has not been fulfilled. Students’ activity in learning reach out 71.88%, and it includes into high category. Whereas the students’ response in adhering the learning reach out 97.66%, it includes into good category. Therefore, it could be concluded that Natural Roaming approach has not been effective applied in geography subject learning in atmospheric material for class X SMA N 1 Bawang 2016/2017 year school. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan jelajah alam sekitar dengan model group investigation pada materi atmosfer kelas X SMA N 1 Bawang. Kriteria efektivitas dalam penelitian ini adalah : 1) kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, 2) ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal, 3) ketercapaian aktivitas siswa, dan 4) tanggapan positif siswa terhadap pembelajaran. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperimen yang dilakukan di SMA N 1 Bawang dengan subjek kelas X IPS 3 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran mencapai 76,14% dan masuk dalam kategori baik. Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa secara klasikal mencapai 56,25% sehingga pada kriteria ini belum terpenuhi. Aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran mencapai 71,88% dan masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Sedangkan respon/tanggapan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran mencapai 97,66% masuk dalam kategori baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan jelajah alam sekitar belum efektif dalam pembelajaran geografi materi atmosfer kelas X di SMA N 1 Bawang tahun pelajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to obtain information about the ability of student affectiveGeography Education Department, and (2) to find out the magnitude of therelationship between affective abilities with their academic achievement. Thisstudy is an evaluation research about affective skills, using the unit of analysisstudent geography education department FIS UNNES. The data collectionmethods used are: (1) questionnaire methods to obtain data on affective abilitiesand academic achievement, (2) documentation methods for obtaining data on thenumber and list of student. Data analysis techniques used were the percentageand descriptive techniques with descriptive statistic. Information obtained fromresearch that the ability of student affective Geography Education Departmentinclude high category, meaning that students have a positive attitude behavior.From the four sub variables affective capabilities, maintaining order andcleanliness of the campus occupies is the highest score. The test results indicatethat the ability of affective relationship with student academic achievement, it’smean that the higher or positive affective abilities of students to follow academicachievement.

Abstract

Sekaran village has a dense population due to the existence of Semarang State University. This has an effect on environmental conditions, especially the availability of water for daily activities that have an impact on increasing waste water. This situation affects groundwater quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility of well water as drinking raw water based on mandatory parameters and analyze the effect of well construction with well water pollution. This study uses several methods of data collection, namely observation methods, questionnaires, documentation, and laboratory tests. The results of this study indicate that well water in Sekaran Village is only 7 (28%) samples that are feasible to be used as drinking raw water, 18 (72%) other samples are not feasible. Construction of well buildings shows the influence of pollutant sources, on the construction of wells that do not meet the requirements proved to be unfit for use as drinking raw water.

Abstract

Children are the next generation to achieve the ideals of family, nation andcountry who have a strategic role in ensuring the existence of the nation and the state in the future, therefore, they should be free from any violence. Violence against children often happens in education at schools, both physical and non-physical (psychic). To minimize the occurrence of violence in the educational environment, the school, especially the teachers can select and use a more humanistic approach to learning by considering various dimensions to be achieved in the National Educational Objectives. One alternative to reduce the violence in the educational environment, educators or teachers can be the use of the PAKEM learning model with Child Friendly Teaching Model (CFTM) or 3P-based learning model (Provision, Protection and Participation).

Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) Determine the application of the character values of social care through education scouting on students at SMPN 1 Cipari, (2) Determine the application of the character values environmental awareness through education scouting on students at SMPN 1 Cipari, (3) Knowing the factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of the character values social care through education scouting, (3) Knowing the factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of the character values matter educational environment through scouting. This type of research used in this research is the field or arena (field research) with descriptive qualitative model. . The results of the study explained that, (1) Values of social care character can be applied through scouting education. (2) Value character matter of an environmental can be applied through education scouting (3) There are many factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of the character values social care through education scouting, ( 4) There are many factors driving and inhibiting the implementation of eco-character values through education scouting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui pendidikan kepramukaan pada siswa di SMPN 1 Cipari, (2) Mengetahui penerapan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan pada siswa di SMPN 1 Cipari, (3) Mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui pendidikan kepramukaan, (4) Mengetahui faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan atau kancah (field research) dengan model kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Nilai karakter peduli sosial dapat diterapkan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan, (2) Nilai karakter peduli lingkungn dapat diterapkan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan (3) Terdapat berbagai faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli sosial melalui pendidikan kepramukaan, (4) Terdapat berbagai faktor pendorong dan penghambat dalam penerapan nilai karakter peduli lingkungan melalui pendidikan kepramukaan.

Abstract

Source of learning on teaching is most important thing for educator, as bridge knowledge between teacher with students. Usually learning of social science the teacher use speech method to give lesson for students. That is inclined make the learning boring. This research focused to analysis process of utilization environtment’s school as source of learning, related planning, implementation and evaluation with obstacle that faced teacher when utilization source of learning environment’s school. Technique collection of data is interview, observation, note of field, and documentation. This research use qualitative analysis. Result of research indicate that teacher IPS SMP Negeri in Kecamatan Sraegn utilize environment’s school scope spcae in hedge’s school as source of learning IPS. Obstacles that faced teacher when use source of learning environment’s school is limited area school, material lesson, unavaible tool and infrastructure, time, ability of teacher, unreadliness students and teacher age. Sumber belajar merupakan salah satu hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan oleh pendidik, sebagai jembatan pengetahuan pendidik dengan peserta didik. Pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS guru biasanya menggunakan metode ceramah dalam menyampaikan materi pada siswa. Hal tersebut cenderung membuat pembelajaran membosankan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menganalisis proses pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar IPS terkait perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi serta kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, obervasi, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, guru IPS SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Sragen memanfaatkan lingkungan sekolah ruang lingkup dalam pagar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar IPS. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru IPS dalam memanfaatkan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar, yakni sempitnya lahan sekolah, tidak tersedianya sarana dan prasarana, waktu, kemampuan guru, pengawasan, materi pelajaran, ketidaksiapan siswa, dan usia guru.

Abstract

An educator should be able to realize that every student has different learning styles. By knowing the student's learning style, the teacher can accommodate various learning methods to suit the needs of students. So that all students can get effective ways of learning. This research was conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Demak as a research subject with the aim of finding out the relationship between learning styles with the results of social studies learning of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Demak. The population in this study were all students of class VIII A-J totaling 338 students and a sample of 138 students using random sampling technique. Collecting learning style data using questionnaires, while social studies learning outcomes are taken from the rapot value of the even semester of 2017/2018 school year. The data obtained is calculated by anova formula with a significance level of 5%, so that the value of F_h 3.29 > F_tab 3.05 means that H_ (a) is accepted. This shows that there is a positive relationship between learning styles and student social studies learning outcomes. Seorang pendidik seharusnya dapat menyadari bahwa setiap anak memiliki perbedaan gaya belajar. Dengan mengetahui gaya belajar siswa, guru dapat mengakomodasikan berbagai metode pembelajaran menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Sehingga semua siswa dapat memperoleh cara yang efektif dalam belajarnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 2 Demak sebagai subjek penelitian dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Demak. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII A-J yang berjumlah 338 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 138 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data gaya belajar dengan menggunakan angket, sedangkan hasil belajar IPS diambil dari nilai rapot semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Data yang diperoleh dihitung dengan rumus anova dengan taraf signifikansi 5%, sehingga nilai 3,29 > 3,05 artinya diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara gaya belajar dengan hasil belajar IPS siswa.

Abstract

Character Education Strengthen (PPK), that consists of social care characther education, is applied at SMP 1 Karangtengah. The purposes of this study are: (1) Describing the implementation of social character education in Social Science learning. (2) Describing how the school culture in implementing social care character. (3) Describing the obstacles in the implementation of social care character education in SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah. This is a qualitative descriptive study. Researchers conducted observations, interviews, and documentation. Analysis date uses reduction data, display data, and conclusions. The technique of data validity uses triangulation technique and triangulation source. The results showed that: (1) the implementation of educational character of social care starting from preparation of learning, the implementation of learning and evaluation of learning have been going well. (2) The school culture implemented in SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah already supports the inculcation of social caring character in the students. (3) Obstacles experienced in the implementation of social care character education in the form of obstacles from IPS teachers, differences in the level of understanding of students, and the influence of the outside environment. Penguatan pendidikan karakter (PPK) diantaranya terdiri dari karakter peduli sosial sudah diterapkan di SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu (1) Mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli sosial dalam pembelajaran IPS. (2) Mendeskripsikan bagaimana budaya sekolah dalam penanaman karakter peduli sosial. (3) Menjelaskan hambatanhambatan dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter peduli sosial di SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti melakukan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengimplementasian pendidikan karakter peduli sosial mulai dari persiapan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan evaluasi pembelajaran sudah berjalan dengan baik; (2). Budaya sekolah yang diterapkan di SMP Negeri 1 Karangtengah sudah mendukung penanaman karakter peduli sosial pada siswa. (3). Hambatan yang dialami dalam berupa hambatan dari guru IPS, perbedaan tingkat pemahaman siswa, serta pengaruh lingkungan luar.
