Abstract

Internalization of multicultural values ​​has become the concern of many researchers today, but how the process of internalization in learning, especially language learning, is still a little done. For this reason, this study focuses on the approach of internalizing multicultural values ​​in learning Arabic at one of the State Madrasah Aliyah schools in the city of Palu. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. The data were collected by means of observation, in-depth interviews, and from written documents. The results showed that multicultural values ​​were internalized through the curriculum, syllabus, and lesson plans (RPP). The process of integrating multicultural values ​​which includes spiritual values ​​and social attitudes is carried out through semi-contributive, semi-additive, and indirect teaching processes. The integrated values ​​include spiritual attitudes and social attitudes that encourage the growth of multiculturalism values.

Abstract

This article discusses the use of inquiry discovery learning method to improve students’ learning achievement in Islamic religious education subject at a junior high school in Palu city. This study used a qualitative method with data collection techniques such as direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research findings show that our study conclude that the use of HOTS in learning Islamic religious education can improve students achievement. The students not only increase their achevement in learning the Islamic religious knowledge, but they also have high order thinking skill which support them to think critically regarding various topic in Islamic education subject. They also have skill to collaborate, communicate, and cooperate during learning the subject with their friends.

Abstract

Internalisasi nialai-nilai multikultural telah menjadi perhatian banyak peneliti saat ini, tetapi bagaimana proses internalisasi dalam pembelajaran terutama pembejalaran bahasa masih sedikit dilakukan. Untuk itu penelitian ini berfokus pada pendekatan internalisasi nilai-nilai multikultural dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di salah satu sekolah Madrasah Aliyah Negeri yang ada di kota Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dari bahan-bahan dokumen tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai multikultural di internalisasikan melalui kurikulum, silabus, dan rencana pembelajaran (RPP). Proses pengintegrasian nilai – nilai multikultural yang mencakup nilai-nilai spiritual dan sikap sosial dilakukan melalui proses semi kontributif, semi aditif, dan indirect teaching. Nilai-nilai yang diintegrasikan mencakup sikap spiritual dan sikap sosial yang mendorong tumbuhnya nilai multikulturalisme.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran dengan berfokus pada bentuk dan proses serta metode dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 4 Kota Palu. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melaui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) model kurikulum pendidikan karakter adalah model hidden curriculum, dimana nilai-nilai karakter sudah terintegrasi dalam semua mata pelajaran. Sedangkan bentuk pengimplementasiannya dengan menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas. (2) Model dan proses integrasinya dengan pemuatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan cara memasukan nilai-nilai tersebut dalam silabus dan RPP serta menginternalisaikannya dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab dalam kelas. (3) Metode pengintegrasiannya dengan menerapkan metode belajar yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif peserta didik, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif sehingga peserta didik dapat belajar dengan efektif dalam suasana yang aman dan penuh semangat serta termotivasi.

Abstract

This study examines the cultivation and strengthening of Islamic religious values at the Muallaf Center Indonesia Peduli (MCIP) in Central Sulawesi. The research focuses on three main problems: first, how Islamic religious values are cultivated at the MCIP; second, how the quality of these values is strengthened; and third, what supporting and inhibiting factors influence the cultivation and strengthening of Islamic religious values at the MCIP. The objectives of this study are to understand the methods used to cultivate Islamic religious values at the MCIP, to analyze the strengthening of their quality, and to identify the factors that support or hinder these efforts. The study adopts a qualitative approach with descriptive techniques for presenting data from informants. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The analysis process involved data reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the steps taken by the MCIP to cultivate and strengthen Islamic religious values align with established guidance theories. These include teaching, habituation, role modeling, motivation, and rule enforcement. The guidance process for new converts (muallaf) is implemented through structured programs. Furthermore, the study highlights that the implications of these efforts can be observed in the religious behaviors of the participants, which are consistent with Bloom’s taxonomy. Based on the findings, it is recommended that MCIP facilitators maintain the strategies currently used to cultivate and strengthen Islamic religious values. Additionally, they are encouraged to introduce innovative approaches to enhance the quality of guidance provided to new converts, ensuring better outcomes in the future.

Abstract

This study deals with the application of task-based learning methods to improve Islamic Religious Education learning outcomes on Asmaul Husna material in class X State Senior High School 1 Banawa Selatan Donggala Regency with the problem of how to apply task-based learning methods in improving learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in participants class X students at State Senior High School 1 Banawa Selatan, Donggala Regency. The study aimed to determine whether the application of task-based learning methods could improve learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education in class X students at State Senior High School 1 Banawa Selatan, Donggala Regency. The type of research is classroom action research with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results showed that the learning outcomes obtained by the students of Class X State Senior High School 1 Banawa Selatan improved well, mastery of the Asmaul Husna material, pronunciation, meaning, and meaning and memorized Asmaul Husna. As for the target of the research, which must achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria of 70, as much as 80% has been successful, even though all students have completed cycle two or the definitive treatment. The study concludes that task-based learning can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education subjects, especially the Asmaul Husna material in class X Science, State Senior High School 1 Banawa Selatan.

Abstract

This study examines the methods used by Islamic Religious Education teachers to instill multicultural values aimed at preventing social conflict among students at SMA Negeri 1 Sigi. Johan Galtung’s conflict resolution theory and Albert Bandura’s social learning theory act as essential analytical frameworks to comprehend social conflict dynamics and the strategic role of IRE teachers. The study employs a qualitative case study method, gathering data via observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis employs the interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman, with validity assured via triangulation of sources, theories, and methods. The results indicate that Islamic education based on multicultural principles and local knowledge can act as an effective tool not only for avoiding social discord but also for promoting a culture of harmony in a diverse society. This includes thoughtful discussions, incorporating religious values into social settings, fostering a fair educational atmosphere, engaging in interfaith and intercultural initiatives to improve positive interactions among groups, collaborative artistic endeavors that convert conflict into collective creativity, role-playing exercises that prepare individuals for peaceful reactions through practice, enhancing critical thinking and empathy, and demonstrating tolerance along with conflict resolution techniques. Educators engage not just in resolving conflicts (peace-making) but also in promoting a lasting culture of tolerance (peace-building) and ensuring order via inclusive regulations (peace-keeping), serving as role models and supporting inclusive settings (reciprocal determinism). This study provides a model for merging Pancasila values with Islamic education on a national scale and supplies a structure for teaching methods that harmonize religious.

Abstract

Pentingnya pendidikan karakter di masa sekarang bagi generasi muda. Karena masa muda bahkan di usia dinilah pendidikan karakter itu harus di kenalkan agar menjadi suatu kebiasaan di masa yang akan datang. Dalam pidatonya founding father Indonesia, Ir. Soekarno dengan lantang mengemukakan bahwa “Bangsa ini harus dibangun dengan mendahulukan pembangunan karakter (character building) karena pembangunan karakter akan membuat Indonesia menjadi bangsa yang besar, maju, dan jaya, serta bermartabat. Pondok Pesantren adalah lembaga pendidikan di tengah-tengah masyarakat yang berada paling depan dalam mencanangkan pendidikan nilai, baik itu nilai agama maupun nilai-nilai luhur bangsa. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa saat ini pesantren menjadi sebuah lembaga yang paling efektif dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter (akhlak) untuk peserta didik. Maka, tidak salah kalau dikatakan bahwa pendidikan karakter di pesantren lebih efektif dibandingkan pendidikan karakter di sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah bagian dari rumusan masalah yaitu untuk mengetahui peranan Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor Dalam Pembentukan Karakter Santri Pasca Pandemi Covid-19 di Kampus 11 Ittihadul Ummah Poso. Penelitian tentang Peranan Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor dalam membentuk karakter santri ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik non statistik dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan rancangan studi kasus (case study). Peran sebagai lembaga pembinaan calon ulama membantu para santri untuk dapat mengembangkan nilai kepedulian, tanggung jawab serta kesabaran pada para santri sebagai bekal awal santri menjadi seorang ulama. Kesimpulan, pondok pesantren sebagai transmisi ilmu pengetahun Islam dalam membentuk karakter santri dapat menumbuhkan karakter cinta damai, toleransi dan tumbuhnya sikap saling kerjasama dalam menyelesaiakan suatu pekerjaan pada para santri.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the implications for multicultural educational outcomes, especially in the study of the Arabic language for students at Insan Cendekia Governmental Intermediate School in the city of Palu. The integration of multicultural pedagogical outcomes into learning is a pressing issue that is also important to study, especially concerning its impact on students at schools. This research adopted a case study with a qualitative approach. Research data were garnered from observation, in-depth interviews, and written documents. The findings indicated that the implications of the integration of multicultural educational results in the study of the Arabic language showcased the existence of multicultural attitudes that students exhibited in the form of internal and external actions.

Abstract

Manajemen pengembangan kurikulum mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dalam bentuk perencanaan, implementasi dan evaluasi pada kegiatan belajar mengajar pada masa pandemi menjadi problematika guru khususnya guru yang membawakan mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, berkaitan pembelajaran ditengah pandemik, guru sebagai pendidik dituntut tetap memiliki kemampuan dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran pendidikan Islam yang terkait dengan kemampuan siswa dalam pembinaan akhlak, baca tulis Al-qur’an, materi pendidikan agama lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Perencanaan Manajemen Pengembangan Kurikulum Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kota Palu Masa Pandemi Covid-19, Untuk mengetahui Implementasi Manajemen Pengembangan Kurikulum Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Islam Di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kota Palu masa pandemi Covid-19 dan Untuk mengetahui Evaluasi Manajemen Pengembangan Kurikulum Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Madrasah Tsanawiyan Negeri 2 Kota Palu masa pandemi Covid-19. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah peneletian kualitatif. Sebagaimana tahapannya dengan observasi, permohonan izin untuk meneliti, mengambil data sekolah dan melakukan wawancara. Sumber data diperoleh dari data primer (secara langsung) adalah hasil dari fiel research (penelitian lapangan). Adapun metode pengumpulan data yaitu dengan interview, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Perencanaan kurikulum dilakukan pada awal tahun ajaran dengan mengadakan rapat di madrasah, hasil evaluasi kurikulum yang dilaksanakan tiap akhir tahun. Implementasi kurikulum dimasa pandemi Covid-19 ini pelaksanaan di MTs Negeri 2 ini disesuaikan dengan hasil kesepakatan dan penyusunan oleh tim pengembang kurikulum yang dibentuk dalam bentuk kepanitian. Evaluasi kurikulum dilaksanakan diakhir tahun ajaran dengan mengadakan rapat evaluasi kurikulum bersama seluruh dewan guru dan staff sekolah.
