Abstract

Socio-cultural changes driven by the development of digital technology have significantly impacted adolescents' lives, particularly in terms of social interaction, cultural values, and understanding of reproductive health. This study aims to explore in depth the subjective experiences of adolescents in facing socio-cultural changes and reproductive health challenges in the digital era. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological study design was employed, involving adolescent informants aged 15–19 years in Banggae Timur Subdistrict, Majene Regency, West Sulawesi. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis, and were examined using thematic analysis techniques. The findings reveal a shift in communication patterns from face-to-face interaction to social media-based communication, which affects social closeness and interpersonal skills. Adolescents also face challenges in understanding reproductive health due to limited education from schools and families, leading them to rely heavily on digital media sources that may not be reliable. Nevertheless, some adolescents demonstrated critical attitudes in filtering digital cultural influences and relied on parents as trusted sources of information. Social support from the environment, particularly families, plays a vital role in shaping adolescents’ perceptions and behaviors. Adolescents expressed the need for improved reproductive health education in schools and the provision of safe, accessible, and stigma-free counseling services. This study recommends the integration of reproductive health education into the school curriculum, teacher training, enhancement of adolescents’ digital literacy, and the development of policies based on contextual needs.

Abstract

Introduction: In hospitals, the most dominant human resources are health workers, especially female midwives who are married and have children. Midwives with these two roles will sometimes experience negative effects, commonly known as work-family conflicts. The purpose of the study was to ascertain the impact of work-family conflict, shift work, and work stress as intervening variables on midwives' performance in Class D General Hospital Pratama Pangkep. Method: The method used is quantitative analysis through a cross-sectional approach. A total of 53 people was the population while a sample of 38 female midwives was taken according to the inclusion criteria. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire, while data analysis was carried out using path analysis. Result: According to the study's findings, work stress and performance were correlated (p = 0.000), as were work-family conflict and stress at work (p = 0.000), shift work and stress at work (p = 0.000), work-family conflict and performance through work stress (p = 0.004), and shift work and stress at work (p = 0.001). Conclusion: Based on the results of the path analysis conducted, it was found that there is a direct effect between work stress on performance, there is a direct effect between work-family conflict and work shifts on work stress.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pertumbuhan hijau (green growth) dan pembangunan inklusif (inclusive development) di kawasan ASEAN dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari ASEAN Key Figures 2024. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif-deskriptif dengan metode komparatif lintas negara terhadap sepuluh anggota ASEAN. Indeks green growth dibentuk dari indikator energi terbarukan, akses energi bersih, elektrifikasi, dan luas hutan, sedangkan indeks inclusive development diukur melalui tingkat kemiskinan, rasio Gini, partisipasi angkatan kerja, dan partisipasi pendidikan dasar. Analisis korelasi Pearson digunakan untuk menguji hubungan antara kedua indeks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif moderat (r = 0,67) antara pertumbuhan hijau dan pembangunan inklusif di kawasan ASEAN. Negara-negara dengan kinerja lingkungan yang tinggi, seperti Vietnam dan Malaysia, juga menunjukkan capaian sosial-ekonomi yang lebih baik dibandingkan negara-negara berpendapatan rendah seperti Myanmar dan Laos. Hal ini menegaskan bahwa kebijakan energi terbarukan, efisiensi sumber daya, dan perlindungan lingkungan dapat berkontribusi pada pemerataan sosial dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, disparitas antarnegara masih besar akibat perbedaan kapasitas fiskal, kesiapan teknologi, dan dukungan kelembagaan. Temuan ini memperkuat pandangan bahwa green growth dan inclusive development bukan dua agenda yang terpisah, melainkan saling melengkapi dalam mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan di ASEAN. Rekomendasi kebijakan meliputi integrasi kebijakan hijau dan sosial dalam Blueprint ASEAN 2040, penguatan pendanaan hijau, dan penerapan prinsip just transition untuk memastikan keadilan sosial dalam transisi menuju ekonomi hijau.
