Abstract

PKM is carried out at Nabilah Islamic High School Batam. This program is carried out in partnership between the Al-Washliyah Muslim Nusantara University (UMN) PKM Team and the Batam University PKM Team with activities including: Preliminary Stage, at this stage, the service team takes care of the letters of permission and correspondence from UMN Al Washliyah Medan to survey carrying out this community service activity. (2) Implementation stage, at this stage, the socialization of students' character formation is carried out through the base learning project learning model in mathematics subjects from UMN Al Washliyah Medan using PowerPoint. In this socialization activity, lectures and questions and answers are carried out, so that the activity will achieve the results and targets as expected and (3) Evaluation Stage, at this stage an evaluation is carried out by making a questionnaire before and after the implementation of PKM activities at Nabilah Islamic High School Batam, to find out there is an increase in understanding regarding Mathematics lessons. The PKM results concluded that the application of the Project-Based Learning learning model in mathematics learning can improve students' character values. This is evidenced by the average percentage of character values ​​indicator scores of 64% before PBL socialization and 81% after PBL socialization. Therefore, this PBL learning model can be applied to improve character values ​​based on student responses after PKM activities are carried out

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi keuangan siswa sekolah dasar di wilayah pesisir melalui program "Anak Pesisir Cerdas Finansial" di SDN 005 Teluk Sebong, Kabupaten Bintan. Sebanyak 30 siswa kelas IV dan V mengikuti pembelajaran interaktif yang mencakup pengertian literasi keuangan, sumber pemasukan, pemisahan kebutuhan dan keinginan, manfaat menabung, serta pengelolaan uang saku, melalui ceramah, permainan edukatif, dan simulasi transaksi. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan angket pre-test dan post-test berisi 10 pertanyaan, serta observasi dan wawancara guru pendamping. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata pemahaman siswa dari 55% menjadi 90%, yang membuktikan efektivitas metode interaktif untuk menyampaikan materi keuangan pada anak. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal dalam membentuk kebiasaan pengelolaan keuangan yang baik dan berkelanjutan bagi anak-anak di wilayah pesisir.

Abstract

Based on the initial survey, the provision of information services to students as a reference for students who have an understanding of careers that seems still low, is thought to be due to the low desire and willingness of students towards high school and low information about talent and interest in the selection of secondary schools. The purpose of this study is to reveal the effectiveness of information services on career choice in continuing education at the SMA/SMK level. This research was carried out using quantitative methods with the type of pre-experimental research with The One Group Pretest-Posttest. The selection of research subjects used cluster sampling and those who were selected as samples were class IX 1 as the experimental group. The experimental group consisted of 48 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis used One Sample T-Test with SPSS 20 program. The research findings indicate that the factors that influence the effectiveness of information services on career selection are motivation, intelligence, talents and interests of students. This can be seen from the experimental group in the pretest and posttest with a significance of 0.000 or a probability below alpha (0.000 <0.05) with an increase in the score of the research subjects from an average score of 32.9% to 35.78%. Based on the findings above, it can be concluded that this information service is effective in continuing career selection at the SMA/SMK level. This study shows the importance of implementing information services in schools by BK teachers.

Abstract

Stress in everyday life is normal, but it becomes extraordinary when it occurs during adolescence. There are numerous stressors for adolescents, including academic success in mathematics. Consequently, the purpose of this study is to provide education on snakes and ladders as a means of reducing stress tendencies by mediating mathematics parenting. Before receiving the ladder snake educational treatment, there was no difference in stress tendencies (p < 0.152). Then, regardless of their parenting style, the level of student tension is the same. The inference is that lowering stress tendencies in adolescents cannot be achieved by concentrating on a single causal factor; rather, it is required to look for additional elements that broadly impact stress.

Abstract

Introduction: Postpartum blues affect 50-80% of new mothers globally and can impact maternal-infant bonding if unaddressed. This study investigated the effectiveness of Family-Centered Maternity Care (FCMC) in enhancing maternal self-efficacy and reducing postpartum blues among postpartum mothers in Indonesian community health centers. Methods: A quasi-experimental study with pre-test and post-test control group design involved 60 postpartum mothers (30 intervention, 30 control) selected through purposive sampling. The intervention group received a four-week FCMC program including family support counseling, postpartum education, and family engagement activities. The control group received standard care. Maternal self-efficacy was measured using the Maternal Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (MEQ) and postpartum blues using the Postpartum Blues Questionnaire (PBQ). Data were analyzed using independent and paired t-tests. Results: FCMC significantly improved maternal self-efficacy in the intervention group (7.4-point increase, p < 0.001, Cohen's d = 2.37) compared to the control group (1.6 points, p = 0.136). Postpartum blues symptoms significantly decreased in the intervention group (6.7-point reduction, p < 0.001, Cohen's d = 1.87) versus the control group (0.9-point reduction, p = 0.522). Post-intervention, 63.3% of intervention mothers achieved high self-efficacy versus 16.7% in controls, while severe postpartum blues were eliminated in the intervention group.Conclusion Family-Centered Maternity Care effectively increases maternal self-efficacy and reduces postpartum blues in primary healthcare settings. The findings support integrating FCMC into standard maternal and child health services with emphasis on family involvement and comprehensive education programs.

Abstract

This research study seeks to investigate the impact of morning dhikr recitation on executive function, specifically regarding sustained attention and inhibitory control, as well as the influence of mindful parenting on children diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Parenting children with ADHD can provide significant emotional and behavioral challenges, often leading to increased stress, frustration, and fatigue. This research investigates sustained attention and inhibitory control during morning dhikr recitation and its impact on executive function. This study utilizes thematic analysis to identify relevant themes and discourse analysis to assess the importance of morning dhikr. The research synthesizes interdisciplinary insights from psychology, religious studies, and cultural wisdom traditions to clarify how spiritual foundations and indigenous contemplative practices may improve attentive, compassionate, and resilient parenting. The aim is for this literature evaluation to be employed consistently and thoroughly in both governmental and non-governmental ADHD treatment programs
