Abstract

This study aims to measure the impact of knowledge management dimensions—knowledge generation, knowledge sharing, and knowledge utilization—on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the digital era. Knowledge management is increasingly recognized as a critical factor in enhancing business performance, particularly for MSMEs that face challenges in adapting to technological advancements. The research was conducted in Kerinci Regency, with a sample of 100 MSME entrepreneurs selected using a purposive sampling technique. The study employs the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with AMOS to analyze the relationships among variables and test the proposed hypotheses. The findings indicate that the dimensions of knowledge management, including knowledge generation, knowledge sharing, and knowledge utilization, have a significant and positive impact on MSME performance. Specifically, knowledge management contributes significantly to digital transformation, with an effect size of 70.7%, suggesting that MSMEs that effectively manage knowledge are more likely to adopt and integrate digital technologies into their operations. Furthermore, the combined influence of knowledge management and digital transformation on MSME performance is both substantial and statistically significant, with an effect magnitude of 56.6%. These results highlight the essential role of knowledge management in driving digital transformation and improving business outcomes for MSMEs.This study provides valuable insights for policymakers, business practitioners, and researchers by emphasizing the importance of developing knowledge management strategies tailored to MSMEs. Future research should explore other moderating variables, such as organizational culture and technological readiness, to further understand the dynamics of knowledge management in the digital transformation of MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, motivation, and compensation on the work spirit of employees at the Sungai Penuh Community Health Center (Puskesmas), Sungai Penuh District. The main issue addressed in this research is the low work morale of employees despite the fact that these factors have been relatively well-managed. The method used is a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires and documentation. The sample consists of employees at the Sungai Penuh Health Center, selected using a simple random sampling technique. The results indicate that competence, motivation, and compensation have a weak relationship with work spirit, with significance values greater than 0.05. Multiple linear regression analysis shows that these three variables together explain only 21.7% of the variation in employee work spirit. These findings suggest that other factors not identified in this study may have a greater influence on employee morale at the Sungai Penuh Health Center.

Abstract

The Kampar River and Siak River play significant roles in the migration process of the Minangkabau people to the Malay Peninsula region. Historically, these rivers have served as vital routes connecting the inland areas of Sumatra with the East Coast of Sumatra Island. However, over time, the importance of these rivers has been forgotten, and the regions along the riverbanks have become underdeveloped and neglected. This article aims to shed light on the role of the Kampar and Siak Rivers as migration paths for the Minangkabau people, tracing their journey from their place of origin to various destinations along the East Coast of Sumatra and even reaching the Malay Peninsula. To achieve the objective of this article, a historical method comprising heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography is employed. The initial stage involves conducting a literature study and employing an interactive model analysis of technical data to gather relevant information. Subsequently, the gathered data undergoes source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The Kampar River, known as a trade route since the era of the Srivijaya kingdom, is exemplified by the discovery of the Muara Takus Temple. This historical evidence confirms that the area was once prosperous and bustling. Consequently, the Minangkabau people utilized this pathway as an entry point to migrate to other regions, particularly the Malay Peninsula area.
