Abstract

Dokumentasi asuhan keperawatan merupakan indikator penting dalam menjamin kualitas pelayanan yang aman, efektif, dan berkesinambungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas dokumentasi diagnosis, intervensi, dan outcomes keperawatan di RS X Kota Jember menggunakan instrumen Quality of Documentation Nursing Diagnosis, Intervention, and Outcomes (Q-DIO). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 90 dokumen rekam medis pasien rawat inap yang dipilih secara purposive sampling pada periode September hingga November 2023. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kualitas dokumentasi diagnosis keperawatan sebagai proses sebesar 51,1%, sebagai produk sebesar 60%, intervensi keperawatan sebesar 68,9%, dan outcomes keperawatan sebesar 86,7%. Meskipun mayoritas aspek menunjukkan kualitas tinggi, ditemukan beberapa kelemahan seperti ketidaksesuaian antara data pengkajian dan diagnosis, serta kurangnya pendokumentasian aspek sosial dan psikologis pasien. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya peningkatan mutu dokumentasi melalui pelatihan rutin, supervisi klinis, serta penguatan sistem informasi keperawatan berbasis elektronik guna mendukung praktik keperawatan yang akuntabel dan terstandar.   Nursing care documentation is an important indicator in ensuring the quality of safe, effective, and sustainable services. This study aims to evaluate the quality of documentation of nursing diagnoses, interventions, and outcomes at X Hospital in Jember City using the Quality of Documentation Nursing Diagnosis, Intervention, and Outcomes (Q-DIO) instrument. The research design used was descriptive quantitative with a sample of 90 inpatient medical record documents selected by purposive sampling in the period September to November 2023. The results showed that the quality of nursing diagnosis documentation as a process was 51.1%, as a product was 60%, nursing interventions were 68.9%, and nursing outcomes were 86.7%. Although the majority of aspects showed high quality, there were some weaknesses such as discrepancies between assessment and diagnosis data, and lack of documentation of social and psychological aspects of patients. This study recommends the need to improve the quality of documentation through regular training, clinical supervision, and strengthening electronic-based nursing information systems to support accountable and standardized nursing practice.

Abstract

Background: Organizational involvement plays an important role in enhancing nursing students’ therapeutic communication, a critical competency for future healthcare professionals. Objective: To determine the relationship between organizational activeness and therapeutic communication skills among nursing profession students. Methods: This correlational descriptive-analytical study used a quantitative cross-sectional design involving 171 nursing profession students selected through total sampling. Results: Most students demonstrated a moderate level of organizational activeness (56.1%) and moderate therapeutic communication skills (55.6%). Statistical analysis revealed a significant positive correlation between organizational activeness and therapeutic communication skills (r = 0.521; p < 0.05), indicating that greater participation in organizational activities was associated with better communication performance. Students who were more active in organizations tended to exhibit higher confidence, empathy, and interpersonal awareness during clinical interactions. These findings suggest that active engagement in organizational activities provides opportunities for teamwork, leadership, and communication practice, which are transferable to professional therapeutic communication settings. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between organizational activeness and therapeutic communication skills, emphasizing that participation in student organizations can enhance professional communication competencies essential for nursing practice.

Abstract

Hemodialysis is one of the therapies undertaken by chronic kidney failure sufferers. This therapy takes quite a long time and is carried out routinely to replace the work of the kidneys with a hemodialysis machine. Several variable components have been studied to determine the condition of hemodialysis patients. The variables of self-acceptance and quality of life are often related to the condition of hemodialysis patients, but there has been no research that directly links these two things. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the self-acceptance and quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. The method used in this research is literature review articles from article search engines such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and Science Direct, which were analyzed using the PRISMA technique by including articles published in the last 5 years. The results of the literature review found that there is a relationship between self-acceptance and the quality of life of patients undergoing hemodialysis. The research results for both variables provide linear results. Patients with good self-acceptance will have a better quality of life, too.

Abstract

Penggunaan hashtag dalam unggahan di media sosial dapat menjadi salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran diri terhadap isu terkini. Dalam beberapa hal, penggunaan hashtag masih disalahgunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kualitas penggunaan hashtag #educationtoprotecttomorrow ditinjau dari aspek tipe, sumber, kredibilitas, bahasa, tujuan, popularitas, dan autentifikasi unggahan. Penelitian cross-sectional terhadap 200 unggahan di Instagram dan Facebook yang menggunakan #educationtoprotecttomorrow. Mayoritas unggahan baik di Instagram dan Facebook adalah berjenis gambar, penggunggah adalah organisasi, kredibilitas unggahan benar, menggunakan Bahasa inggris, bertujuan edukasi, mendapat likes < 50, dan penggunggah belum terautentifikasi. terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis sosial media terhadap jenis unggahan (p=0,02) dan kredibilitas unggahan (p=0,00). Kualitas dan jangkauan unggahan dapat ditingkatkan dengan partisipasi berbagai pihak khususnya dengan penggunaan gambar serta menyajikan informasi yang kredibel. Keterlibatan pemerintah dan organisasi yang berisi tenaga kesehatan dapat membantu meningkatkan kredibilitas informasi yang disajikan.

Abstract

Abstract Advances in technology and information affect education sector, one of them is the shift in learning methods that were initially fully face-to-face to digitalization in the form of virtual simulations. The use of virtual simulation still leaves a number of challenges, one of them is the problem of replacing face-to-face learning to virtual simulation completely. This study aims to examine virtual simulations as a learning media in improving nursing students' clinical competency. This study was a literature design review that refers to the Preferred Reported Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis guidelines (PRISMA). A total of 451 articles were obtained from Scopus (44), Google Scholar (334), and PubMed (73). The 11 selected articles were analyzed and trevealed that the combination of virtual simulations with traditional learning improved nursing students' clinical competency. Learning through virtual simulations provided an interesting experience through audio-visual that resembles real conditions so it increased the brain's ability to think at a higher level and prepare students to deal with real patients. When students were ready, traditional learning provides real-life experiences in clinical practice. Because students have previously been provided with cognitive and psychomotor competency through virtual simulations, traditional learning strengthen nursing students' clinical competency. So these two learning methods are a neat combination. But so far it seems that virtual simulation has not been able to completely replace traditional learning. Cross-sectoral coordination is needed to improve the quality of virtual simulation learning so that it is expected to improve nursing students’ clinical competency. Abstrak Kemajuan teknologi dan informasi turut mempengaruhi dunia pendidikan salah satunya adalah pergeseran metode pembelajaran yang awalnya sepenuhnya tatap muka menjadi digitalisasi berupa simulasi virtual. Penggunaan simulasi virtual masih menyisakan beberapa tantangan salah satunya adalah pertanyaan mengenai keandalan simulasi virtual dalam menggantikan pembelajaran tatap muka sepenuhnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keandalan simulasi virtual sebagai metode pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan klinis mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain tinjauan literatur yang mengacu pada Preferred Reported Item for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis guidelines (PRISMA). Sejumlah 451 artikel diperoleh dari pangkalan data Scopus (44), Google Scholar (334), dan PubMed (73). 11 artikel terpilih selanjutnya dianalisis dan didapatkan hasil bahwa penggunaan simulasi virtual yang dikombinasikan dengan pembelajaran tradisional mampu meningkatkan kemampuan klinis mahasiswa keperawatan. Pembelajaran melalui simulasi virtual mampu memberikan pengalaman menarik melalui audio visual yang menyerupai kondisi nyata sehingga mampu meningkatkan kemampuan otak dalam high order thinking skills dan menyiapkan mahasiswa untuk menghadapi pasien yang sesungguhnya. Saat mahasiswa telah siap, pembelajaran tradisional memberikan pengalaman yang nyata dalam pelaksanaan tindakan klinis keperawatan. Karena mahasiswa sebelumnya telah dipersiapkan kemampuan kognitif dan psikomotor melalui simulasi virtual, pembelajaran tradisional menjadi sarana untuk memantapkan kemampuan klinis mahasiswa keperawatan. Sehingga kedua metode pembelajaran ini merupakan kombinasi yang apik. Namun sejauh ini nampaknya simulasi virtual belum mampu menggantikan pembelajaran tradisional sepenuhnya. Koordinasi lintas sektor dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran simulasi virtual sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi klinis mahasiswa keperawatan.

Abstract

Introduction:  Dietary patterns is the most important behavior that affects a person's nutritional state. The dietary patterns consists of three components, which include the types of food, eating schedules, and meal portions. Objectives:  This study aimed to analyzed the daily dietary patterns of rice farmers in Rambigundam Village, Rambipuji District, Jember Regency. Methods: This research is a quantitative research used a descriptive research design and the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample in this research were rice farmers totaling 205 people who fit the inclusion criteria. Data were collected used the Daily Dietary Patterns Questionnaire which consisted of 20 statement items that had 4 answer options, namely never, sometimes, often, and always, each with a different score. Data analysis in this research used univariate analysis. Results:  The results of this research showed that the daily dietary patterns of rice farmers in Rambigundam Village are varied, some are moderate (36,1%), good (35,6%), and poor (8,3%). Discussion:  Differences in dietary patterns among farmers can be influenced by the amount of income and education they have. Conclusions: Nurses as educators can provided information regarding good dietary patterns so that it is hoped that farmers can improve their dietary patterns which included food variety, eating schedules, and meal portions that can be fulfilled properly, in order to achieve optimal health status. Apart from that, farmers are also encouraged to actively seek information related to supporting a good diet, considering that working as a farmer is hard work and drains energy.

Abstract

First-year students encounter academic, social, and emotional challenges that can impede their adjustment capacity. Inadequate adaptation frequently precipitates academic procrastination, which detrimentally affects academic achievement. Effective adjustment plays a significant role in mitigating task delay tendencies. This study examined the relationship between self-adjustment and academic procrastination among first-year Bachelor of Nursing students at Universitas Jember. This study employed a cross-sectional correlational design. A total of 168 first-year students were selected via total population sampling. Data were collected from April to May 2025 using the Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire to measure self-adjustment and the Procrastination Assessment Scale-Students to measure academic procrastination. Data were analyzed using Spearman-rank Correlation test with a significance level of ? = 0,05. Findings indicated that 72,6% of respondents exhibited a moderate level of self-adjustment, while 70,2% demonstrated moderate academic procrastination. Correlation analysis indicated a statistically significant result p-value of 0,000 (p 0,05). A correlation coefficient (r) of -0,503 indicated a moderate-strength and negative relationship. The results of the study showed a moderately significant relationship between the two variables of self-adjustment and academic procrastination with a negative correlation, meaning that the higher of self-adjustment, the lower of academic procrastination. Students with effective self-adjustment abilities tend to complete tasks more efficiently, thereby reducing their tendency to procrastinate. Self-adjustment is not the only factor influencing academic procrastination, other related factors also contribute to the persistence of procrastination behavior during the developmental stage of first-year students. Other variables and factors that influence academic procrastination in new students can be examined for further research
