Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat pesisir, khususnya di Desa Pengudang, mengenai pentingnya Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HAKI) dalam pengembangan potensi destinasi wisata lokal. Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat adalah rendahnya pengetahuan tentang Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HAKI), lemahnya perlindungan terhadap karya dan budaya lokal, serta kurangnya pemanfaatan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HAKI) sebagai strategi penguatan daya saing pariwisata daerah. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pemetaan partisipatif, penyusunan materi kontekstual berbasis kasus nyata, dan pembentukan kelompok belajar. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui sosialisasi interaktif, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, dan evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta (60%) memiliki pemahaman awal yang rendah, namun 90% menilai Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HAKI) relevan atau sangat relevan dengan pengembangan wisata. Tingkat partisipasi tergolong tinggi (100% aktif atau cukup aktif), dan 60% peserta memberikan masukan spesifik serta membangun. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini berhasil membangun kesadaran awal dan minat masyarakat terhadap Hak Kekayaan Intelektual (HAKI), meskipun diperlukan pelatihan lanjutan dan pendampingan teknis untuk mendorong penerapan secara berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini berpotensi menjadi model pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis perlindungan kekayaan intelektual di wilayah pesisir.

Abstract

UMKM di wilayah pesisir memiliki potensi produk unggulan namun masih menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan usaha secara konvensional. Digitalisasi pengelolaan keuangan, seperti penggunaan aplikasi akuntansi, menjadi solusi dalam mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Melalui pencatatan keuangan yang sistematis, pengelolaan modal dan hutang yang efisien, serta akses pasar yang lebih luas melalui teknologi, UMKM pesisir dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dan daya saing. Kegiatan pengabdian ini melibatkan pelatihan dan pendampigan penggunaan aplikasi akuntansi, dari proses pengunduhan, pengisian data, hingga penyusunan laporan keuangan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan literasi keuangan dan adopsi digital di kalangan pelaku UMKM pesisir. Digitalisasi keuangan menjadi kunci dalam meningkatkan akses pendanaan dan memperkuat ketahanan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir.

Abstract

Publikasi ilmiah merupakan suatu upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru. Namun, masih terdapat guru kesulitan menulis karya ilmiah yang baik dan benar, sehingga menyulitkan dalam melakukan publikasi ilmiah. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah masih ada beberapa guru, khususnya di SMPN 2 Tanjungpinang yang belum mampu mengoptimalkan aplikasi seperti Mendeley dan Google Scholar secara optimal. Oleh karena itu, mitra membutuhkan suatu pendampingan untuk membantu guru-guru di SMPN 2 Tanjungpinang menghasilkan karya ilmiah hasil penelitian di bidang pendidikan menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley dan Google Scholar. Tujuan PKM ini adalah untuk membantu menghasilkan suatu karya ilmiah hasil penelitian di bidang pendidikan menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley dan Google Scholar. Kegiatan PKM ini menggunakan metode pelatihan dengan tiga tahap, yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Tahap persiapan yang dilakukan adalah mempersiapkan buku teknologi tepat guna (TTG) untuk membantu mitra dalam kegiatan ini. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, dilakukan pemberian materi sekaligus pendampingan penyusunan draf artikel. Pada tahap evaluasi dilakukan analisis tes pengetahuan serta respon peserta terhadap kegiatan ini. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan dan pembahasan yang dipaparkan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan ini mampu memberikan dampak berupa keterampilan yang sangat baik kepada peserta. Hasil tes yang diperoleh baik dan respon yang sangat baik dan manfaatnya dapat dirasakan oleh peserta pelatihan di SMPN 2 Tanjungpinang, khususnya dalam penyusunan draft artikel penelitian. Buku teknologi tepat guna (TTG) yang dihasilkan mempermudah peserta untuk menyusun draf artikel tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' perceptions of implementing the case method in general physics and teaching and learning lectures. This research was carried out in July 2023. This research involved 32 first-year students of Biology Education, FKIP UMRAH as research subjects. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires to measure student perceptions, including ease, mastery of material, satisfaction, lecturer performance, motivation and activeness. Data were analyzed descriptively. The research results show that students have a very good perception of implementing the case method in general physics lectures and teaching and learning. The percentage of student perceptions regarding implementing the case method in general physics lectures and teaching and learning is not much different. In the indicators of ease, satisfaction, motivation and activeness, Studying and Learning show a higher percentage of perceptions, while for indicators of material mastery and lecturer performance, general physics shows a higher percentage of perceptions. This shows that implementing lectures using the case method is suitable for stimulating activity and increasing students' understanding of concepts in both subjects, such as general physics, and non-exact subjects, such as teaching and learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This Community Service activity was motivated by the partner’s low beach soccer skills, as most players are still accustomed to monotonous futsal patterns. This condition requires more intensive training and experience to master the distinctive techniques of beach soccer. In addition, the potential for sport tourism in Tanjung Siambang has not yet developed optimally, even though the coastal area has high tourism appeal. Limited community knowledge about sport tourism and low digital literacy in event promotion remain major obstacles. Community organizers have not been able to create innovative events that attract wider public interest. Therefore, this training aims to improve participants’ beach soccer skills, strengthen their ability to design and manage sport tourism events, and develop their competence in using digital technologies such as Canva and Adobe Premiere Pro for promotion. The evaluation results showed a significant improvement in participants’ playing skills, event design, and digital promotion abilities. This activity successfully empowered the community to develop beach soccer–based sport tourism through technology-driven promotion in Tanjung Siambang in a sustainable manner. Kondisi tersebut memerlukan latihan dan pengalaman lebih intensif untuk menguasai teknik khas sepak bola pantai. Selain itu, potensi sport tourism di Tanjung Siambang belum berkembang optimal meskipun memiliki daya tarik wisata yang tinggi. Keterbatasan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai sport tourism serta minimnya literasi digital dalam promosi event menjadi kendala utama. Pengurus komunitas belum menyelenggarakan kegiatan inovatif yang menarik minat masyarakat luas. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan bermain sepak bola pantai, memperkuat kemampuan peserta dalam merancang dan mengelola event sport tourism, serta mengembangkan kompetensi penggunaan teknologi digital seperti Canva dan Adobe Premiere Pro untuk promosi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan bermain, merancang event, dan mengelola media promosi digital. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberdayakan komunitas dalam mengembangkan sport tourism sepak bola pantai melalui promosi berbasis teknologi di Tanjung Siambang secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

This community service program aimed to improve teachers’ competence in developing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based assessment items integrated with maritime contexts at SMPN 11 Tanjungpinang. The program employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, emphasizing collaborative problem identification, action, and reflection to ensure alignment with teachers’ real instructional needs. The participants consisted of 24 teachers from various subject areas at a maritime-based junior high school in the Riau Islands. The program was implemented through three structured stages: (1) a needs analysis conducted through interviews and focused group discussions to identify challenges in HOTS-based assessment, (2) a training phase involving conceptual reinforcement of HOTS and 21st-century skills, guided practice in constructing C4–C6 assessment items using maritime-based stimuli, and collaborative review, and (3) a post-implementation stage focusing on evaluation and reflection. Program outcomes were evaluated using pre- and post-tests, a rubric-based HOTS item development task, and a participant satisfaction questionnaire. The results indicated a significant improvement in teachers’ conceptual understanding, with a high N-Gain score (0.76) in the introductory module and moderate gains in subsequent technical modules. Teachers successfully produced high-quality HOTS assessment items that demonstrated strong alignment between learning objectives, cognitive levels, and maritime contextual relevance. Participant responses showed very high satisfaction (93.24%), indicating that the program was relevant, practical, and beneficial for professional development. In conclusion, the PAR-based structured training had a positive impact on strengthening teachers’ HOTS assessment competence in a maritime-based school context. The program also contributed to increased readiness for sustainable implementation of contextualized HOTS-oriented assessment practices, highlighting the importance of continued mentoring and follow-up support.

Abstract

Research on analysing academic qualifications and shortages of Physical Education Teachers at elementary school level in Tanjungpinang City was conducted from August to October 2023. This research aims to find out how many elementary school teachers in Tanjung Pinang City have an academic background in physical education subjects and what challenges elementary school teachers who do not have physical education experience face when implementing physical education activities. This research will use survey methods and quantitative descriptive data analysis with a percentage approach to analyse data based on the academic background of each teacher. The survey found that around 78% of elementary schools in Tanjungpinang City lack physical education teachers, their performance is very low, and physical education subjects are taught by teachers who are unqualified or do not meet qualifications in their fields. This affects student learning outcomes due to the teacher's lack of teaching skills. Therefore, to overcome the problem of qualifications and shortage of physical education teachers in Tanjungpinang City, it is necessary to provide workers from the region or graduates with physical education degrees. However, to produce graduates with a bachelor's degree in physical education, a well-accredited university is needed that can provide a physical education study program that can meet the needs of physical education teachers in Tanjungpinang.

Abstract

The integration of digital technology in higher education has encouraged the use of innovative learning media, including video tutorials, to support students’ understanding of complex subjects such as educational statistics. This study aims to analyze students’ perceptions of the quality and usefulness of video tutorial–based learning in data processing using Microsoft Excel and SPSS. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a survey design involving 90 students who had completed the Educational Statistics course. Data were collected using a 30-item questionnaire covering five indicators: material relevance, learning effectiveness, video media quality, accessibility, and learning motivation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The results showed that students’ perceptions were categorized as very good across all indicators, with accessibility obtaining the highest score (90.59%), followed by video media quality (90.48%), material relevance (90.07%), learning effectiveness (89.15%), and learning motivation (89.07%). The majority of students’ scores ranged from 80% to 100%, with an average between 88% and 90%. In conclusion, video tutorial–based learning is perceived as highly useful and of high quality in supporting students’ learning experiences in educational statistics, particularly in data processing using Excel and SPSS. Therefore, this method can be considered an effective alternative learning strategy, although it should be combined with interactive approaches to further enhance student motivation.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze students’ creativity, collaboration, and communication skills in science learning using a descriptive, correlational, and cluster analysis approach. This study used a non-experimental quantitative design involving 109 junior high school students in Tanjungpinang City. Data were collected using essay tests to measure creativity and observation sheets to assess collaboration and communication skills. Descriptive analysis, Spearman rank correlation, and K-means cluster analysis were used to analyze the data. The results showed that students' creativity and communication skills were generally in the moderate category, while collaboration had a relatively higher average score. Correlation analysis revealed no significant relationship between creativity, collaboration, and communication skills, suggesting that these three skills may not necessarily develop simultaneously across students in the present sample. Furthermore, the cluster analysis identifies three possible student profiles based on similarities in student skills, reflecting varying skill combinations and heterogeneity. These results indicate that the 21st-century skills development in science learning remains fragmented and requires more integrated learning strategies. This study provides benefits in designing learning environments where students' skills measured in this study are developed through adaptive and effective learning.
