Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masarakat ini : (1) meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memahami pengolahan data penelitian; (2) meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam membaca data statistik yang diolahnya berbasil penelitian. Pengabdian ini dilakukan sebagai bagian dari solusi atas permasalahan mereka yang hadapi dalam penyelesaian studi dimana masih banyaknya mahasiswa yang masih bingung dalam mengolah data hasil penelitian mereka dan menginterpretasikan hasil olahan datanya tersebut menjadi suatu kesimpulan dan pembahasan dalam penelitiannya. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa akhir STKIP Andi Matappa yang terdiri dari 2 (dua) prodi yaitu Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling dan Prodi Matematika dimana setiap prodi diwakili sebanyak 20 mahasiswa sehingga total keseluruhan peserta dari pelatihan ini sebanyak 40 orang. Metode pelatihan ini menggunakan metode simulasi. Hasil Pengabdian menunjukkan pemahaman mahasiswa dalam pengolahan data penelitian dan  kemampuan mahasiswa dalam membaca data statistik yang diolahnya berhasil penelitian telah meningkat

Abstract

Tonasa Science Championship (TSC) merupakan bagian dari Program Tonasa Cerdas yang rutin dilaksanakan setiap tahun mendukung pemerintah daerah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Kabupaten Pangkep. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk melatih siswa dan guru SMA Negeri 3 Pangkep dalam menyelesaikan dan menguasai strategi-strategi menghadapi soal-soal Tonasa Science Championship bidang matematika. Kegiatan pelatihan berlangsung selama 3 minggu yang terbagi dalam tiga sesi dengan materi yaitu;(1) strategi pemecahan masalah soal-soal Tonasa Science Championship pada materi aljabar beserta contohnya;(2) strategi pemecahan masalah soal-soal Tonasa Science Championship pada materi geometri beserta contohnya;(3) strategi pemecahan masalah soal-soal Tonasa Science Championship pada materi aritmatika beserta contohnya. Hasil yang diperoleh meningkatnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman siswa tentang menyelesaikan dan  menguasai  strategi-strategi  dalam menghadapi soal-soal Tonasa Science Championship (TSC) bidang matematika.

Abstract

In obtaining information or feedback from alumni, universities require methods to be used in this regard, one of which is tracer study. Through tracer study, universities will know the educational outcomes of alumni in the form of transition from the world of higher education to the world of work and improvement and quality development of the college education system that they obtained during the lecture. STKIP Andi Matappa is a private university that routinely conducts tracer studies every year. However, many alumni of STKIP Andi Matappa still do not understand and are aware of the importance of tracer study. This is exacerbated by the many alumni of STKIP Andi Matappa who live in remote areas. STKIP Andi Matappa conducted qtafi online questionnaire filling assistance for tracer study with simulation training method at STKIP Andi Matappa alumni in 2019. The purpose of the mentoring activity is increased knowledge and understanding of alumni regarding the filling of QTAFI online questionnaires. The steps of QTAFI-based tracer study questionnaire filling assistance activities for STKIP Andi Matappa alumni are (1) Introduction stage, (2) Explanation of fill data in QTAFI-based tracer study questionnaire, (3) Technical guidance on filling out QTAFI-based tracer study questionnaires. The results of the dedication showed the increasing knowledge and understanding of Graduate of STKIP Andi Matappa regarding the filling of QTAFI online questionnaires for tracer study.

Abstract

Background: Mathematics Teachers who are members of MGMP (Teacher's Deliberation of Subjects) Mathematics at the Junior High School level of Pangkep Regency face problems in writing classroom action research (PTK), processing and analyzing data from PTK research results using software, as well as the publication of PTK scientific articles in the Open Journal System (OJS). The purpose to improve (1) the teacher's knowledge of the way of writing classroom action research (PTK); (2) the teacher's knowledge of software R statistical applications; (3) teacher knowledge of the Open Journal System (OJS). Method: Learning Model Technology, Pedagogy, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) consists of 4 steps: understanding (P), observation-instruction (O), instruction exercises (L), reflection (R). Training Partner is MGMP Mathematics junior high school pangkep which amounted to 12 people. Instruments of devotion in the form of: tests of classroom action research knowledge; test of software knowledge R; Open Journal System (OJS) knowledge test. Results: (1) increased teacher knowledge of how to write class actions; (2) increased teacher knowledge about processing classroom action research data with Software R; (3) Increased teacher knowledge about the publication of scientific articles of classroom action research in the Open Journal System (OJS). Conclusion: OJS Technology-Based PTK Training and The Use of Software R can overcome teacher difficulties in writing PTK, processing and analyzing PTK research data, as well as the publication of PTK scientific articles in the Open Journal System (OJS).

Abstract

This research is qualitative research with the aim of (1) to find out the description of mathematical communication skills of male and female students in solving mathematical problem solving questions, (2) to find out different information about mathematical communication descriptions in solving problem solving problems in terms of gender. The subjects of this study were two class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Labakkang, namely one male and one female student who had the highest problem solving test scores. The procedure of data collection is done by observation, tests of problem solving and interviews. The research instrument was used in the form of observation sheets, tests of problem solving, interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques are carried out by testing credibility, transferbility, dependability, and conformability. The results showed that the mathematical communication skills of male gender subjects were lower than those of female gender subjects. The location of differences in mathematical communication skills between male and female gender is that the indicators write answers according to the purpose of the problem and make conclusions in writing using their own language.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar yang memenuhi kriteria valid. Buku ajar ini sebagai penunjang perkuliahan statistika non parametrik guna meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa sehingga mahasiswa memiliki keterampilan analisis data dengan software R secara mandiri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yaitu pengembangan Buku Ajar dengan model 4D Thiagarajan yaitu : pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan dan penyebaran. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Khairun. Instrumen penelitian: lembar validasi Buku Ajar. Hasil penelitian : penilaian reviewer diperoleh skor validitas isi buku ajar adalah 0,81 yang berarti bahwa validitas isi buku ajar termasuk kategori tinggi dengan reliabilitas 0,89. Buku ajar memenuhi unsur valid sehingga layak untuk digunakan sebagai alat penunjang kegiatan pembelajaran statistika non parametrik.

Abstract

Pasca Pandemi Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) mengharuskan melakukan pembelajaran mixed yaitu luring dan online termasuk mata kuliah kalkulus derivatif. Belajar online menuntut siswa memiliki motivasi yang kuat untuk belajar. Pengembangan Buku Ajar merupakan salah satu strategi yang dapat menumbuhkan motivasi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan Buku Ajar yang praktis dalam menumbuhkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan, yaitu pengembangan Buku Ajar dengan model Plomp: (1) investigasi awal, (2) desain, (3) realisasi/konstruksi, (4) pengujian, evaluasi dan revisi, (5) implementasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika STKIP Andi Matappa. Instrumen penelitian adalah lembar kepraktisan buku ajar. Hasil penelitian skor kepraktisan buku ajar memiliki kriteria sangat praktis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar kalkulus derivatif yang telah dikembangkan memenuhi unsur praktikalitas untuk menumbuhkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

Data analysis is an important part of the research process with parametric and non-parametric statistical tests. However, many students still fail to process research data, especially non-parametric statistical tests, including guidance and counselling study program student of STKIP Andi Matappa. This community service activity aims to increase students' ability to understand the processing of non-parametric statistical tests for research. This service is carried out as part of the solution to the problems they face in completing their studies where there are still many students who are still confused about processing the data from their research and interpreting the results of the processed data into conclusions and discussions in their research. The target of this activity is STKIP final student Andi Matappa, who consists of the guidance and counselling study program, where each study program is represented by 20 students so the total number of participants in this training is 12 people. This training method uses a simulation method. The results of the service show an increase in student's knowledge about processing data with non-parametric statistical tests with RStudio software.

Abstract

Background: A rare form of tumor is a neuroendocrine tumor (NET). According to the 2015 National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Clinical Practice Guidelines in Oncology, all endocrine tumors of the digestive system should be treated with neuroendocrine tumors of the gastrointestinal system. The incidence of NET is 2.5 cases per 100,000 people annually on average. Since NET has a variety of clinical symptoms, it can be divided into functionally active and inactive types. This study aimed to present a neuroendocrine tumor of the extrahepatic biliary tract. Case presentation: An 18-year-old female with a lump in the upper right abdomen with intermittent pain that had been felt in the last 8 months. There was evidence of previous weight loss and an easy appetite. Physical inspection revealed a mass with a fixed, smooth, flat edge and solid consistency. A vesica felea enlargement and a normal wall were discovered on the CT scan. Stone and sludge were not detected. The choleducus and cystic duct were normal-looking, and a 0.5 cm spherical stone was present. Bile fluid was found to move smoothly from the ductus cysticus to the distal and into the ampulla of Vater. Our patient was diagnosed early with an intra-abdominal tumor. An intraoperative cystic tumor measuring 9x7x8 cm and attached to the duodenum was discovered at the pancreatic cap. The pancreatic uncinate process underwent tumor excision. The patient was managed post-op in a stable condition, and the tumor's histology revealed a carcinoid tumor. Conclusion: NET is a rare type of tumor, but two third of it occurs in the gastrointestinal system. It is hard to detect because of its heterogeneous nature and various clinical presentation. Surgery is the first-line therapy in this disease, followed by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and tumor debulking as palliative management.

Abstract

This research aims to develop valid and practical textbooks to improve students' understanding of concepts. This type of research is development research, namely the development of textbooks with the Plomp model: (1) initial investigation, (2) design, (3) realization/construction, (4) testing, evaluation and revision, and (5) implementation. The subject of this study is a student of the Mathematics Education Study Program of STKIP Andi Matappa. Research instrument: textbook validation sheet. Results of the study: (1) the validity score of the content and reliability of the textbook is included in the high category; (2) This textbook has practical criteria; (3) There is an increase in students' understanding of the concept with the average student being in the medium category. The derivative calculus textbook has met the criteria of valid, reliable and practical to improve the understanding of the concept of STKIP Andi Matappa students.
