Abstract

One of ways that can be done by Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) to improve their branding is by creating a logo. Logos can identify what products or services are produced by the enterprise, logos also differentiate one company from another, as well as one product from another. The business partner in this community service is Prima Mushroom which is owned by Ms. Teti Indrawati, located in Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. Initially the business partners had not built a good business identity where the partners already had a business name, but there was no logo that became the identity of this business. In addition, at the partner's business location there is no banner informing the name of the business. So this product is difficult to recognize by consumers. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity is to design Prima Mushroom logo design and apply this logo to the business name information banner as a business branding strategy. The method used is to first socialize and discuss with partners regarding the problems faced, then solve the problems by providing alternative logo designs for business branding strategies.

Abstract

Kampung Sayur Cempako didirikan berawal dari kepedulian Bapak Rudi Harsam terhadap lingkungan. Dengan memanfaatkan lahan kosong tempat pembuangan sampah, Bapak Rudi Harsam memulai bercocok tanam dengan menggunakan metode hidroponik. Upaya tersebut kemudian mendapatkan apresiasi dari warga sekitar di Gang Berdikari yang turut serta menanam sayur dengan metode serupa. Jamur tiram merupakan salah satu hasil budidaya dari warga di Kampung Sayur Cempako. Untuk memberikan nilai tambah dari hasil budidaya jamur tiram tersebut, diperlukan pelatihan pengolahan jamur tiram. Produk olahan yang dihasilkan berupa jamur crispy yang dapat dijadikan alternatif cemilan lezat dan bergizi untuk masyarakat. Pelatihan pengolahan jamur tiram ini melibatkan Ibu-Ibu warga Kampung Sayur Cempako. Selain diberikan materi mengenai cara mengelola jamur tiram menjadi cemilan, mereka juga diberikan materi cara mengemas produk dengan baik agar tidak cepat rusak dan lebih menarik saat dipasarkan.

Abstract

Nowadays social media has revolutionized as the media that facilitate interaction and information using User Generated Content (UGC). Due to this thing many people especially marketer utilize social media as marketing tool that is why people named it social media marketing. In term of marketing field social media is used to do branding activities, increase website traffic, increase customer and brand loyalty, enhance conversion rate, and create other activities for business exposure. Some researched found that utilizing social media marketing brings significant effect to increase purchased intention. That’s why authors want to know more about social media marketing especially in entertainment (ENT), interaction (INT), and customization (CUST) that happened on social media itself. This study will examine the effect of social media marketing of one of online platform named Grab Indonesia with Instagram account @grabid. The author examined and analyzed ENT, INT, and CUST in their social media especially Instagram toward customer’s purchased intention. ENT, INT, and CUST on @grabid social media could influence purchased intention (PI) both simultaneously and partially. Hopefully the result of this study could contribute in developing social media marketing literature, and become references for brands in developing social marketing strategy.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to understand how attractiveness (affective reaction) influenced urge to buy impulsively through the mediation of perceived Usefulness (cognitive reaction). The research hypothesis is that there is an indirect effect between attractiveness and urge to buy impulsively through mediation of perceived usefulness. Design/methodology – This study used a one-time non-experimental quantitative research design that was tested on 165 respondents who had shopped in live streaming commerce. The survey was carried out online through non-randomized convenience sampling techniques. A measuring tool used in the form of a questionnaire that asks for an assessment of several statements. The statistical analysis was used to test mediation effect by using mediation PROCESS MACRO for SPSS by Hayes (Model 4). Findings – The results of the analysis showed that usability acceptance had a mediating effect on the effect of attraction on impulsive shopping impulses in consumers who had shopped on live streaming commerce. The immediate effect became insignificant when controlled with the mediation variable. The next study is suggested to be tested on different groups of respondents to test universality, test more specifically by differentiating e-commerce and so-commerce with more comprehensive variables and then can be tested with experimental methods to improve the internal validity of the study results.
