Abstract

The evolution of technology necessitates that banking creates an innovative and useful product for customers, such as mobile banking. This study examines the impact of perception and service quality on mobile banking usage through a quantitative methodology with a sample size of 100 respondents and the method of multiple regression analysis. Partial test results indicate that perceived benefits, perceived convenience, and service quality influence customer interest in mobile banking, however, perceived risk has no significant effect. The simultaneous test indicates that all variables have a favorable effect on client interest in mobile banking.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of halal labeling and religiosity on purchasing decisions for beauty products, as well as to examine the moderating role of gender in the functional relationship between these two variables. The research sample consists of 100 cosmetic product users in Banda Aceh, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was carried out using an online questionnaire, and the data were subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression and moderated regression analysis. The study found that both halal labeling and religiosity have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for cosmetic products. The greater the importance consumers place on halal labeling and the higher their level of religiosity, the more likely they are to purchase cosmetic products

Abstract

Islamic banks whose operations are based on sharia principles offer financing products that not only attract Muslims but also attract non-Muslims. One of the financing products available at BSI is the People's Business Credit (KUR). The purpose of this research is to see how the implementation, the role of financing, and the views of non-Muslims towards KUR financing. This research is a qualitative research. The results of the study found (1) the implementation of financing at BSI KCP Peunayong 3 using a murabaha contract, the concept of murabaha contract is used through a murabaha bil wakalah contract. The customer selection procedure uses the 5 C principle (Character, Capital, Capacity, Collateral, and Condition). (2) The role of business financing applied by Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Peunayong 3 brings benefits to the community, especially to non-Muslim entrepreneurs who take financing at the BSI. It can be seen from the growth of non-Muslim businesses that have increased turnover from 10% - 30% after taking KUR financing, customer growth has increased by 20% -50% and labor has increased insignificantly. (3) Opinions of non-Muslim entrepreneurs on KUR financing at BSI KCP Peunayong 3, namely: The principle of speed of process, the principle of justice, the principle of convenience.

Abstract

The development of gold installment products in sharia banking has become a popular investment alternative among the public, as it is considered safe, stable, and in accordance with sharia principles. This research aims to determine the mechanism for financing gold installments based on murabahah contracts, analyze the legal basis used, and identify the obstacles faced by both banks and customers. The research method employs an empirical juridical approach, utilizing descriptive qualitative analysis. Primary data was obtained through interviews with the bank (gold installment financing section and tellers) and eight customers, while secondary data came from literature, journals, and related regulations. The research results indicate that the gold installment financing mechanism at BSI is implemented through a murabahah contract, where the bank purchases gold from an authorized supplier and then resells it to customers, earning a profit margin agreed upon at the outset. This process is transparent and easy to understand. From a legal perspective, this financing is guided by DSN-MUI fatwa no. 21/DSN-MUI/IV/2001, OJK regulations, as well as internal bank regulations, so that they are free from elements of usury, gharar, and maisir. Obstacles that arise include delays in installments due to customers' financial conditions and a lack of understanding among some customers regarding the differences between sharia and conventional products. The bank handles this with education, reminder services, and restructuring options without fines. Thus, gold installment financing at BSI is proven to be in accordance with Sharia principles, provides a sense of security, and is beneficial for customers

Abstract

Al-qarḍ al-ḥasan, a non-profit Islamic financing model, holds great potential in empowering marginalized communities. However, its practical implementation and long-term sustainability within Islamic microfinance institutions (IMFIs) remain limited in research, particularly in terms of integrating non-economic elements, such as spirituality. This study analyzes the effectiveness of al-qarḍ al-ḥasan financing implemented by Baitul Misykat in Aceh, with a focus on spiritual development as a key strategy for economic empowerment. Using a qualitative phenomenological case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis. Findings show that al-qarḍ al-ḥasan's financing significantly contributes to the economic empowerment of small traders. Effectiveness is influenced by four interrelated factors: strict beneficiary selection, continuous business monitoring, innovative non-monetary repayment incentives, and integration of spiritual development programs. These elements foster borrower discipline, ethical conduct, and business sustainability. The involvement of government officials, religious leaders, and economists enhances institutional capacity and community confidence. This study introduces a novel perspective by demonstrating how spiritual mechanisms can be synergized with Islamic finance to shape ethical entrepreneurial behavior. It offers a scalable and replicable model for IMFIs, suggesting that integrating ethical-spiritual education into financial systems may support poverty alleviation and inclusive development strategies in Muslim-majority societies.   Abstrak Al-qarḍ al-ḥasan, sebagai model pembiayaan sosial, memiliki potensi besar dalam memberdayakan komunitas marjinal. Namun, implementasi praktis dan keberlanjutannya pada lembaga keuangan mikro syariah (LKMS) masih minim kajian, terutama terkait integrasi aspek non-ekonomi seperti spiritualitas. Studi ini menganalisis efektivitas pembiayaan al-qarḍ al-ḥasan yang diterapkan oleh Baitul Misykat di Aceh, dengan fokus pada pengembangan spiritual sebagai strategi utama dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi. Menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus fenomenologis kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiayaan al-qarḍ al-ḥasan secara signifikan berkontribusi terhadap pemberdayaan ekonomi pedagang kecil. Efektivitasnya dipengaruhi oleh empat faktor yang saling berkaitan: seleksi penerima manfaat yang ketat, pengawasan usaha yang berkelanjutan, insentif pelunasan non-moneter yang inovatif, dan integrasi dengan program pengembangan spiritual. Unsur-unsur ini mendorong kedisiplinan, perilaku etis, dan keberlanjutan usaha. Keterlibatan pemerintah, tokoh agama, dan ekonom turut memperkuat kapasitas lembaga dan kepercayaan masyarakat. Studi ini menghadirkan pendekatan baru dengan menunjukkan bagaimana pembinaan spiritual dapat disinergikan dengan pembiayaan syariah untuk membentuk perilaku kewirausahaan yang etis. Temuan ini menawarkan model kebijakan yang dapat dikembangkan dan direplikasi oleh LKMS, serta menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pembinaan etika-spiritual dalam sistem keuangan dapat mendukung strategi pengentasan kemiskinan dan pembangunan inklusif di masyarakat  Muslim.

Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) cases in Nagan Raya have increased every year. Efforts to prevent tuberculosis transmission with healthy lifestyle behaviors have been carried out. However, the prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis is still high and many factors are associated with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis—analytical study with a case-control approach to determine risk factors for tuberculosis in the Nagan Raya district. The sample in this study was 290 people consisting of 58 cases and 232 controls. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data was collected by interviewing respondents, observing, and reporting TB case records. Multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression tests with a 95% confidence level. The results showed that the characteristic factors associated with the incidence of pulmonary TB were primary education (p=0.002), not working (p=0.000), and income <REGIONAL MINIMUM WAGE (p=0.001). Environmental factors associated with the incidence of pulmonary TB were the number of household members >4 people (p=0.036) and no ventilation in each room (p=0.000). Health factors associated with the incidence of pulmonary TB were underweight nutritional status (p=0.019), obese nutritional status (p=0.042), and not containing BCG (p=0.014). The most dominant factor associated with the incidence of pulmonary TB is not working (OR = 4.17; 95% CI = 1.36-12.73). Respondents who did not work had a 4.17 times higher risk of experiencing pulmonary TB than those who did not work after controlling for environmental and health factors. For this reason, it is expected that respondents need to increase their income to prevent transmission of pulmonary TB and maintain cleanliness, improve nutritional status and limit contact with TB sufferers

Abstract

Bank Syariah Indonesia’s product development entails the application of technology to the creation of product features for Wadiah and Mudharabah savings products, particularly the online account opening method. The purpose of this study was to establish the form of product feature development implemented by Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Aceh, as well as the impact of product development on client acquisition. This research use descriptive qualitative methodology. According to the findings of the study, Bank Syariah Indonesia’s product development may be categorized as modification and growth of product lines and complementary items. The results also indicate that the creation of this product was successful, as evidenced by the increase in the number of new Bank Syariah Indonesia clients who take advantage of the product's new features. In the first year after the launch of this feature in 2020, the number of customers increased by 15,992 or 96.58% compared to the previous year's total of 8,135 clients. This demonstrates that the usage of technology in Bank Syariah Indonesia’s product development has a favorable influence on customer growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Dana Pihak Ketiga dan Capital Adequacy Ratio terhadap profitabilitas pada Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Periode 2017- 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dari data laporan keuangan di BSI periode 2017-2021. Data diolah dengan SPSS dan dianalisis regresi linear berganda untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dengan tingkat signifikansi 5%, maka secara parsial tidak terdapat pengaruh Dana Pihak Ketiga (DPK) terhadap profitabilitas, sedangkan Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) berpengaruh secara parsial dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas pada BSI periode 2017-2021. Hasil secara simultan kedua variabel DPK dan CAR berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap profitabilitas pada BSI periode 2017-2021.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pengetahuan, kepercayaan, dan pelayanan terhadap minat muzakki membayar zakat di Baitul Mal Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis data regresi linier berganda. Data penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dalam bentuk kuesioner dengan pengolahannya menggunakan SPSS 23. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji parsial (uji-t) dan uji simultan (uji-F) dan tingkat signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial pengetahuan dan pelayanan tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat muzakki membayar zakat, sedangkan kepercayaan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat muzakki membayar zakat. Secara simultan pengetahuan, kepercayaan, dan pelayanan berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap minat muzakki membayar zakat pada Baitul Mal Kota Banda Aceh.

Abstract

Loyalitas merupakan sebuah komitmen yang kuat seseorang terhadap produk atau jasa suatu perusahaan yang bertahan dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan dan penanganan keluhan terhadap loyalitas nasabah Bank Syariah Indonesia Cabang Banda Aceh Daud Beureueh 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis Regresi linear berganda untuk membuktikan hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kualitas pelayanan sebesar 1,414 < 1,984 dan penanganan keluhan sebesar 6,328 > 1,984. Artinya secara parsial kualitas pelayanan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap loyalitas nasabah, sedangkan variabel penanganan keluhan berpengaruh positif terhadap loyalitas nasabah. Secara simultan kualitas pelayanan dan penanganan keluhan diperoleh sebesar 58, 739 > 1,984, secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap loyalitas nasabah.
