Abstract

Mengembangkan kecerdasan pada anak usia sekolah dasar merupakan upaya yang harus dilakukan guna menyiapkan kesuksesan anak menghadapi masa depan. Adapun upaya yang dapat dilakukan diantaranya membantu anak dalam mengenali kecenderungan gaya belajar yang dimilikinya. Tujuan dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yakni memberikan psikoedukasi tentang gaya belajar yang di miliki oleh setiap individu dan menemukan kecenderungan gaya belajar pada siswa. Metode yang digunakan meliputi: edukasi dalam bentuk penyuluhan dan pengukuran gaya belajar kepada siswa peserta kegiatan yang diperoleh dari alat ukur Visual Auditory Kinesthetic Scale (VAK). Hasil kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan, pemahaman anak terhadap gaya belajar yang dimiliki. Berikutnya hasil pengukuran gaya belajar pada siswa diperoleh gaya belajar visual sejumlah 41 siswa, tipe gaya belajar kinestetik sejumlah 28 siswa dan gaya belajar auditori 17 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pengukuran disimpulkan gaya belajar visual lebih dominan di miliki siswa hal tersebut mengindikasikan siswa lebih cenderung menyukai dengan cara mengobservasi langsung terhadap objek belajar. Lebih dari pada itu hasil kegiatan ini dapat memberikan rujukan dalam menentukan kelas binaan sesuai dengan ketertarikan siswa sesuai dengan bidang yang diminati.

Abstract

Masa tua dipandang sebagai masa sulit, kesepian serta kehilangan eksistensi. Stereotip dandiskriminasi pada lansia karena usianya (ageisme) yang kerap dialami semakin memperburuk kualitashidupnya. Pemberdayaan lansia melalui komunitas seperti senam lansia diduga mampu membentukcitra diri positif sehingga berdampak pada kesehatan fisik dan psikologis. Penelitian ini bertujuanmengungkap hubungan gambaran citra diri terhadap stereotip usia (agisme). Jenis penelitianpopulasi dengan desain kuantitatif. Partisipan penelitian komunitas lansia yang tergabung dalamsenam lansia “gerontologi” sejumlah 102 orang. Alat ukur menggunakan Self Image of Aging Scale dan Ageism Scale.  Analisis data menggunakan  analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil menunjukan bahwaterdapat hubungan negatif significant (r= -0,458, p= 0,03) artinya semakin positif citra diri padalansia maka semakin kecil kecenderungan mengalami ageisme dan sebaliknya. Kegiatan komunitassenam lansia terbukti secara signifikan meningkatkan citra diri positif dan menekan stereotip dandiskriminasi terhadap usia hal tersebut mampu meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis dan kualitashidup pada lansia.Kata Kunci : senam, lansia, citra diri, ageisme.

Abstract

Tiga komponen utama yang saling berpengaruh dalam pembelajaran yaitu kondisi, metode, dan hasil pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu guru harus mengupayakan supaya kegiatan belajar mengajar bisa berjalan sesuai harapan, dan dapat mencapai hasil yang optimal. Beradsarkan hasil wawancara para guru masih mengalami kesulitan mengembangan model pembelajaran bagi peserta didik yang menyebabkan siswa bosan dan cenderung kurang tertarik mengikuti pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi guru melalui metode Quantum learning model SHINE (Spiritual, Humanis, Intelligence, Nasionalis, dan Emosional). Sasaran program ini adalah para guru TPQ, SD/MI, dan SMP/Mts se kabupaten Banyuwangi sejumlah 150 orang. Kegiatan workshop Smart Teaching ini menambah wawasan dan referensi bagi para guru untuk membuat model pembelajaran lebih bervariasi sehingga para siswa tidak bosan dan lebih tertarik mengikuti proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This descriptive study examined (1) to obtained description learning achievement of students received through PMDK and Reguler pathways on Diploma of Nursing and Diploma of Midewifery for Nutrition of Sciences's subject at STIKES Banyuwangi; (2) to determine the differences between learning achievement of students received through PMDK and Reguler pathways on Diploma of Nursing and Diploma of Midewifery at STIKES Banyuwangi. A documentation technique of 82 students was recruited from diploma of nursing and diploma of midwifery with year entry on 2015 at STIKES Banyuwangi. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were utilized to analyse the data. Result of research analysis showed that the learning achievement of Diploma Nursing and Midewifery Department’s Students of STIKES Banyuwangi received in year 2015 through PMDK were averagely of 3,00 and dominated by students who have learning achievement with satisfactory category; learning achievement of Diploma Nursing and Midewifery Department’s students of STIKES Banyuwangi received through Reguler pathways were averagely 2.89 and dominated by students who have learning achievement with satisfactory categories. The study found that learning achievement throught PMDK Diploma of Nursing and diploma of Midewifery averagely of 3,00 and dominated by satisfactory category; while learning achievement by reguler averagely 2.89 and dominated by satisfactory category; based on the testing of hypothesis, this study there were not differences between learning achievement of students received through PMDK and Reguler pathways on Diploma of Nursing and Diploma of Midewifery for Nutrition of Sciences's subject at STIKES Banyuwangi.

Abstract

The potential for the food industry in the target group of Alas Purwo National Park, Banyuwangi Regency is quite large and varied, but in this global era it is full of challenges and very competitive, so that small and medium industries (IKM) need the support of various parties. This community service (PPM) aims to provide education, training, and assistance in calculating food nutrition for MSME products and improving skills and expertise in marketplace-based online marketing techniques. Society in nutritional calculations and marketing. Apart from that, this activity is also expected to be able to improve the economy and understanding of science and technology for the target audience so that they are more productive in marketing. The target of dedication is 10 members of UKM Kedungsari Purwoharjo Village, Banyuwangi. Problem solving is carried out in three stages of activity, namely (1) the preparation stage, (2) the implementation stage, and (3) the stage evaluation. The approach/preparation stage is carried out by way of outreach, observation, interviews, with potential partners. The implementation phase is carried out by giving education, knowledge, and training to the community. The monitoring and evaluation stage is carried out with assistance and monitoring of Kedungsari Village UMKM members in practicing food nutrition calculations and MSME product marketing techniques. The results of this PPM activity were to show indications of success by members of the Kedungsari Village UMKM in practicing food nutrition calculations and MSME product marketing techniques by applying the knowledge that had been given and being able to improve the economy of the Kedungsari Village community so that the community became more innovative and productive. Abstract

Although the relationship between social support and students' mental health during the academic transition is rather complicated, it always has one thing in common: social support can strengthen learning involvement and lessen the intensity of some life strains.  As a result, educational establishments must offer a structured support system through counseling, peer mentoring, and an inclusive campus community.  The purpose of this study is to offer an empirical foundation for the development of campus policies that are more sensitive to the psychosocial requirements of students, particularly in the early stages of their transition to higher education. The research subjects were 75 new students chosen by purposive sampling. The data were collected thanks to internet questionnaire submissions of a 14-day duration with Google Form platform to facilitate accessibility and get rid administrative bias. The main research instruments were two. One of them is the Social Support Scale and the Psychological Mental Health Scale. All were conducted on the social support variable's frequency distribution and descriptive statistics, and on the Distribution of Student Mental Health. The coefficients of bivariate analysis uncovered a strong direct relationship between Univariate analysis was performed on social support variables and mental health among university students. The Final Result of the Study gives confirmation that strengthening one's social support system should be closely linked to creating complete written plans for students undergoing academic transition, if we are to keep them healthy both during that period and onwards into their further studies.

Abstract

Nutritional problems among school-aged children, including students in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), remain a significant issue due to their impact on growth, cognitive development, and quality of life. The pesantren environment, characterized by a tight schedule, limited dietary variety, and low nutritional knowledge, poses a risk of unbalanced dietary patterns and long-term health problems. This study aimed to assess the effectiveness of nutrition education using wayang (traditional puppet) media on the nutritional knowledge of students at Pondok Pesantren Safinatul Huda, Banyuwangi. The methods employed included balanced nutrition socialization, education on the six food groups, demonstration of menu preparation using local ingredients (purple sweet potato), and delivery of materials through wayang characters as an engaging and memorable cultural medium. The study sample consisted of 40 junior high school students (santri). Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test to evaluate differences in nutritional knowledge before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the mean nutritional knowledge score from 72.15 to 77.90 (p < 0.001). Wayang media proved effective in enhancing understanding, motivating the adoption of healthy eating patterns, and providing a culturally relevant and contextual educational approach.
