Abstract

Poverty in Indonesia is a very important problem at this time, so that it becomes a focus of attention for the government and becomes a development issue in Indonesia. The main strategy for reducing poverty in Indonesia is one of the many steps taken to suppress growth and eliminate poverty. Various efforts and policies have been made by the government to overcome this problem, one of which is by providing social assistance to people who have a weak economy. The social assistance includes the Hopeful Family Program, Non-Cash Food Assistance, Joint Business Group Assistance, Uninhabitable House Assistance, Cash Direct Assistance, Assistance for the Abandoned and Disabled Elderly, Access to Public Services, and Other Social Services. Good policies must be guarded so that the assistance can be channeled according to the target. The aspect of equitable distribution of aid is also important so that no one feels disadvantaged by the community in need. In the success of this effort, it is necessary to apply the Waterfall Model in the Development of Web-Based Social Assistance Applications to find out which communities need this assistance more and it can be channeled on target.

Abstract

The realization of good governance and accountability is the expectation of all parties. Regarding these expectations, it is necessary to develop and implement an accountability system that is appropriate, clear, measurable, and accurate. In realizing this effort, the Regency Government of Pringsewu in collaboration with the Aisyah University of Pringsewu created an electronic application for Government Agency Performance Accountability Systems (E-Sakip), namely an application for reporting performance measurement results to Government Agencies. The E-Sakip launching and outreach activities will be held on Monday, November 28th, 2022 at the Main Hall of the Regency Government of Pringsewu. The method used in this socialization is an introduction or lecturing method, then carrying out simulations or demonstrations which are attended by 80 participants consisting of the Head of the Planning Subdivision and Functional Officers. The material presented included creating user accounts for the application, account creation and user access rights for the LAKIP reporting unit, filling out the LAKIP document components, how to upload LAKIP documents, and how to change the password on the user account. The result of this community service activity is that the E-Sakip application can be implemented in the Regency Government of Pringsewu and it provides knowledge to participants who represent each Government Agency in the Pringsewu Region regarding the use of the E-Sakip application which can assist the Government Agencies in Digital Performance Accountability Reports

Abstract

Information system design is a stage of creating an information system. Based on the SDLC stages globally, the design is at stage 5. In the development of object-oriented programming techniques, a standardized modeling language for the development of software/information systems built using object-oriented programming techniques. the Unified Modeling Language (UML) emerged because of the need for visual modeling to specify, describe, build, and documentation of software systems/information systems. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) performs modeling in designing software systems/information systems. The purpose of this training is to implement the knowledge of lecturers to the community (students) by providing training in analyzing UML-based information systems in SMK Pelita Madani Pringsewu, with supporting tools using Star Uml. In the PKM was attended by 27 students of class XII, the participants get information system analysis and design materials, such as: Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, Sequence Diagram and class Diagram. The implementation of this training provide results: increasing the ability of participants to create business processes using Star Uml tools in the process of making applications / information systems.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a decision support system for evaluating and ranking favorite lecturers based on student preferences in higher education institutions. In the context of modern education, the role of lecturers goes beyond delivering lectures; they also serve as mentors and inspirations for students. However, the process of evaluating lecturer performance is often subjective and lacks structure, especially when it involves student preferences and perceptions of lecturers. Therefore, this study proposes the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as a solution to this problem. By collecting data through Likert scale-based questionnaires, this research evaluates lecturer performance based on four main aspects: Pedagogical, Professionalism, Personality, and Social Interaction. Based on the calculation results using SAW, it was found that the best alternative is Alternative A2, which scored the highest total with 0.997. This indicates that lecturers associated with this alternative received high ratings in all aspects assessed by students. This conclusion provides a clear insight for educational institutions to improve educational management and enrich student learning experiences.

Abstract

Video streaming is growing very rapidly nowadays, many people use it in their daily lives, especially since the pandemic, video streaming has become an important need. Video conferencing applications such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Cisco Webex have become increasingly important in facilitating remote communications, allowing people to communicate, collaborate, and hold virtual meetings without geographic restrictions. This research uses the QoS method to analyze the comparison of service quality from video streaming such as Zoom, Cisco Webex and Google Meet. From the results of the research carried out, each video stream was assessed with QoS. The research carried out was by testing 3 applications, namely Zoom, Cisco Webex and Google Meet, the best results were obtained, namely Zoom with a Throughput value of 6685842, a Delay value of 47ms, a Jitter value of 47 ms and a Packet Loss value of 0.004%. The QoS method can be applied in comparative quality analysis in testing video streaming service applications.

Abstract

Penyakit jantung disebabkan oleh kondisi abnormal jantung dan pembuluh darah, secara luas dianggap sebagai ancaman langsung terhadap kehidupan dan kesehatan manusia. Diagnosa yang tepat pada fase awal merupakan tugas yang sangat menantang karena adanya ketergantungan yang kompleks yang harus dipertimbangkan pada berbagai faktor. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan pengembangan sistem diagnosis medis sedemikian rupa sehingga dapat membantu dalam mengambil keputusan pada proses diagnostik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari algoritma mechine learning yang memiliki akurasi yang paling tinggi untuk menprediksi apakah seseorang mengidap penyakit jantung atau tidak berdasarkan database medis. Penelitian kami membandingkan enam metode klasifikasi mechine learning yaitu Naïve Bayes, kNN, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, SVM, Decision Tree dan AdaBoost dengan dataset Cleveland Clinic Foundation yang tersedia di “UCI Machine Learning Repository”. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa algoritma Naive Bayes memiliki akurasi paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 84.67%, lalu Logistic Regression diurutan kedua dengan akurasi 84.30%, Kemudian Random Forest 81.70%, SVM 81%, Tree 74%, kNN 73%, AdaBoost 71.30%.

Abstract

Purpose: The Population and Civil Registration Office is a governmental institution responsible for managing population administration in provinces or districts/cities. One of the tasks of the Population and Civil Registration Office is to provide services for death reporting, particularly in Pringsewu Regency. Currently, the death-reporting service system still operates manually. Methodology/approach: This challenge arises from the slowness of death-reporting services. Therefore, socialization regarding the protection of death certificates and the reporting of funeral registers has been conducted to facilitate and improve the reporting of funeral registers, especially in the administrative region of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of the Pringsewu Regency. The method used in the implementation of death certificates and funeral register reporting starts from the preparation stage, technical application guidance stage, and final stage, which involves affirming the commitment to implement the knowledge gained during the technical guidance process. Results/findings: This application was designed with a simple layout to facilitate the use of death certificate services and to report the main burial book. By entering relevant sections, users can directly access relevant applications. Limitations: In serving the community at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Pringsewu Regency, there is a limitation, namely, the Funeral Register Reporting application is built based on a website platform that can be utilized across multiple platforms. Contribution: The contribution to community services involves designing, constructing, and directly implementing the Funeral Register Reporting application for relevant stakeholders in Pringsewu Regency. Consequently, the developed application proved to be highly beneficial and helpful for the stakeholders involved.

Abstract

This research develops a museum guide application using Android-based Augmented Reality (AR) technology, with a focus on the Lampung Transmigration Museum. The purpose of this research is to improve visitors' educational experience and attract more tourists by presenting museum collection information interactively and visually. The research methods used are qualitative and quantitative approaches, as well as the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) model consisting of concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution stages. The results showed that this application succeeded in increasing visitor attraction and engagement, as well as providing easier access to information about museum collections. Tests show that the marker can be detected well within a distance of 8 to 50 cm, and can still be recognized even if it is obstructed by 50%. It is hoped that this application can be a practical solution in delivering information in museums, as well as increasing public interest in cultural heritage

Abstract

Stunting sebagai dampak dari kekurangan gizi kronis, memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan dan perkembangan anak di Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengembangkan model deteksi dini stunting pada anak dengan memanfaatkan indikator antropometri menggunakan pendekatan Machine Learning. Berbeda dengan metode tradisional yang bergantung pada penilaian manual atau pemeriksaan klinis yang memakan waktu, pendekatan ini menawarkan keunggulan berupa deteksi yang lebih cepat dan akurat. Data antropometri, seperti tinggi badan, berat badan, usia, dan jenis kelamin, digunakan dalam algoritma Machine Learning: Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Naive Bayes, dan Support Vector Machine (SVM). Setiap model dievaluasi berdasarkan akurasi, confusion matrix, dan ROC Analysis untuk menentukan performa terbaik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Random Forest memiliki akurasi tertinggi sebesar 92,70%, lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan KNN yang memiliki akurasi 91,40%. Algoritma Random Forest dipilih sebagai model terbaik untuk deteksi dini stunting karena kemampuannya yang tinggi dalam meminimalkan kesalahan prediksi. Penerapan model ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas skrining cepat stunting di lapangan, memungkinkan deteksi lebih awal bagi anak-anak berisiko tinggi, dan mendukung intervensi yang lebih tepat sasaran dalam program kesehatan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penanganan COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease-2019) di Indonesia pernah menjadi topik hangat di media sosial yaitu Twitter. Penanganan pemerintah Indonesia tersebut menimbulkan pro dan kontra di masyarakat. Opini publik di Twitter dapat digunakan sebagai sistem pendukung keputusan dalam pengambilan kebijakan yang tepat untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pemerintah. Metode analisis sentimen dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis opini publik di Twitter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami fenomena opini publik tentang COVID-19 di Indonesia. Kami menggunakan dataset tweet mengenai COVID-19 di Indonesia untuk diklasifikasikan menjadi sentimen positif, dan negatif. Kami melakukan preprocessing untuk data duplikat dan tidak relevan dan kami juga membandingkan text feature extraction untuk analisis sentimen pada data baru. Algoritma pembelajaran mesin diveluasi menggunakan beberapa metode serta menggunakan 10-fold validasi. Performa terbaik terjadi pada skenario kedua dengan classifier terbaik adalah Support Vector Machine dengan akurasi yang didapatkan sebesar 84.03%.
