Abstract

North Sulawesi is one of the biggest coconut producer in Indonesia . This situation provides an opportunity for PT .Putra Karangetang processing of coconuts into deciccated coconut . To determine the selling price of this industry, it is necessary to determine the cost of production . This study uses a case study by using primary and secondary data . The data was analyzed by the method of full costing and variable costing. The results showed that the cost of production of each kilogram of desiccated coconut by the company amounted to Rp 18.067,17 while using the full costing is Rp 18.155.31 and variable costing is Rp 17.651.53 .*ael*

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of coconut production, the Rupiah exchange rate against the US $, and the export prices of desiccated coconut to the volume of exports of desiccated coconut North Sulawesi. This research was conducted in March-May 2016, with the location of Manado City, North Sulawesi. The data used in this research is secondary data obtained from related agencies such as the Department of Industry and Trade in North Sulawesi, Central Agency Statistics in North Sulawesi,Indonesia Bank, and Agricultural Departmentof North Sulawesi.Besides, there were interviews conducted on one of the companies which exportedthe desiccated coconut in North Sulawesi, namely PT. Dimembe Nyiur Agripro, to support the secondary data that has been obtained. The variables measured in this research are coconut production (Kg/year), the Rupiah exchange rate against the US$ (Rupiah), and desiccated coconut export price (US$/Kg). Thedata used istime series in the period of 2006 - 2015. Thedata analysis used is multiple linear regression. The result of this research shows that significantly in the time period of 2006-2015 the coconut production has positive influence on exports of desiccated coconut. The exchange rate shows a positive tendency and the export prices show that there was negative impact tendency,though both are not significant statistically to the exports of desiccated coconut in North Sulawesi.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze and determine the public perception of hydroponic plant in the village Lotta, Pineleng Districts, views of the variables to be studied in terms of knowledge and personal characteristics and factors that, cultivation of hydroponic plants, seedlings, planting, remove seeds, caring for plants, harvesting, cleaning pipes, control water for circulation, plant nutrion, seed replacement, stimulus, personal factors, factors influence groups, cultural factors using a likert scale analysis tool. This aims was conducted over four months from February to the month of May 2016 from preparation to the arrangement of research reports. The location of research is Sentrum Agraris Lotta in the village Lotta districts Pineleng. This research uses primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from 30 respondents using questionnaires, while secondary data obtained from the office Lotta village. The sampling method in this study is using purposive sampling method. The results of this study show that the public perception of plant hydroponic in the village Lotta districts Pineleng to categorize understand/agree as seen from the result obtained, that respondents will understand and know how to plant hydroponic and would like hydroponic plants.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the in the basic sector in South Minahasa District and the potential sectors to be developed as a support for economic growth in South Minahasa District. The purpose of this study is to analyze the basic sector and potential sectors in South Minahasa district. The study lasted four months starting June 2016 until September 2016, started with the preparation period to the preparation of research studies. This study used secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sulawesi province and the Central Bureau of Statistics South Minahasa district. Analysis used LQ, Shift Share, and MRP. The Result shows that the base sector in the Domestic Regional Product Of South Minahasa District. There are four sectors Agriculture sector, Mining and Quarrying, Manufacturing Industry Sector, and the Construction Sector. Values shift share South Minahasa district likely to lead to an economy that will grow relatively slowly and did not have a competitive advantage, and There are two sectors of the value of MRP that stand out in North Sulawesi province and South Minahasa District the Construction Sector, and Health Services and Social Activity sectors. Manufacturing sector, and Administration Sector, Government, Defense and Compulsory Social Assurance. These sectors are expected to be a potential role in contributing to the growth in north Sulawesi province because These sectors are potential sector that can be developed in South Minahasa district.

Abstract

The same opportunity to work in the informal sector to encourage farmers to make the decision to allocate the available workforce to be more efficient than that of bulk farm working hours also had a busy time and leisure time. The increased revenue adds the satisfaction level through the increase of consumption and leisure time. This research is to determine the contribution of informal sector income on household income Pinabetengan farmers in the Northern District of West Tompaso. This research was conducted in the village of North Pinabetengan, in June 2015 through December 2015. The data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data is data taken with direct interviews to farmers who have jobs in the informal economy. Secondary data is data taken from North Pinabetengan village office. The analysis has used in this study are presented in tabular form. The main commodities of farmers in the village are corn, beans, peanuts, rice and vegetables and spices. Farm income of farmers is the smallest Rp 600,000 and Rp 9,800,000 the greatest. The informal sectors has done such as motorcycle taxi, buggy, stalls, food stalls, craftsmen, traders, tailors, pitchman, garage, laundry worker. The lowest Income informal sector is Rp 500,000 and the highest is Rp 2,400,000. Results of the analysis showed that the contribution of the informal sector to household income of farmers amounted to 41.10 % with an average farm income in rural sub-district Tompaso Pinabetengan north west Rp . 1,600,833 / month , the average income of informal sector Rp . 1.177 million / month . Abstract

This study aimed to describe the Profile of the Soy Milk Industry Enterprises UD. Three Brothers in Sub-district of Tikala, Manado City, seen from the Organizational Structure, raw material procurement, production costs, marketing and profit. The research was conducted from preparation in June until the completion of the report in September 2016. This research was used primary data and secondary data. The primary data obtained through interviews using questionnaires to the owners of the soy milk industry UD Three Brothers in Sub-district of Tikala, Manado City. Primary data collected has studied and analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form. The results showed that soy milk UD. Three Brothers is packaged in two packages, namely, bottles and packaging wrap. Soy milk is marketed to five places, namely, Freshmart, Golden, Market Karombasan, X.O and Noodle Medan 88, with the price for one bottle and a pack of Rp. 5000.- respectively. Industrial soy milk UD. Three Brothers survived until today because of their perseverance, patience and entrepreneurial spirit of the industry owners.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing strategy Herbalife in Manado City. The method of determining the area of research done in purposive, using the case study method which is a description of a real-life experience, which is used to make points, raise issues or otherwise enhance understanding and learning experience of the participants. Where, Nutrition Green House as a location or point of research. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis, SWOT analysis, and business strategy theory. The results showed that the strategies that have been applied are maintained and add to the marketing strategy of "investment strategy", which prioritizes the development of this strategy over the larger business. Home Nutrition Green brings their positive impact on the communities that exist around the city of Manado. Its positive impact, among other things, the public can find out how to live healthy by consuming Herbalife products with the benefits contained in any product without considering the price of Herbalife products.

Abstract

The study aims to identify factors - factors that affect consumer purchasing decisions of fruit in Freshmart Tikala, Manado based on aspects of individual consumers, environmental influences and marketing strategies. This study is a qualitative research with quantitative approach. The research was conducted from September to December 2016 in Freshmart Tikala, Manado. The data used are primary data obtained through interviews with 60 respondents who have bought fruit in October 2016. The sampling method is to use accidental sampling method. Analysis of the data used consisted of a questionnaire test, classic assumption test, descriptive analysis, regression test, determination test, F test and t test. These results indicate the test results of multiple regression analysis is positive and significant F-test value <0.05, which means simultaneously independent variables affect the dependent variable. The results of t test analysis of individual consumer variables, environmental influences and marketing strategies significant value <0.05 means that the independent variable (the individual consumer, environmental influences, and marketing strategies) partially influence on purchasing decisions. The variable most influential in purchasing decisions is variable marketing strategy that has the highest coefficient of 0,243 and 0,000 significant value. Thus the individual consumer factors, environmental influences and marketing strategy and a significant positive influence in decisions on buying fruit.Keywords: consumer, purchasing decisions, fruit, Freshmart, Tikala, Manado

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the PNPM Mandiri activities to the income of farmers. Research conducted in September through December 2016. The data used are primary data obtained through interviews to 20 (twenty) of the respondents in this case women's credit group (SPP) through the list of questions regarding before and after participating in PNPM-MP and secondary data obtained from the District Office and the Office of Paslaten Tatapaan Sub-district. Analysis of the data used is the analysis kuantitattif using different test average by using the formula paired samples t-test. The results showed PNPM-MP have a positive impact where the income of farmers increasing from Rp.70,663,000 with an average of Rp. 3,533.150 to Rp. 126,397,250 with an average Rp.6,319,862.50,- so that it increases 78.87 %. Abstract

This study aims to analyze how marketing strategies implemented by PT. Gunung Intan Permata Manado in exporting the nutmeg products in order to compete with other companies. This study uses data obtanined from direct observation and interviews using questionnaires. Data analysis methods used were Matrix of Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), Matrix of External Factor Evaluation (EFE), dan SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats). The results showed that the marketing strategy of nutmeg export applied by PT. Gunung Intan Permata is an aggressive growth strategy (growth oriented strategy). This strategy is a profitable strategy, because the company has the power that can be used to achieve the opportunities that exist. This strategy can be implemented through several alternative strategies, namely maintaining product quality and further tightening quality control to keep nutmeg demand high and maintain product quality and corporate image to maintain good business relationships and customer loyalty.
