Abstract

ABSTRACT Palmarum Marvel Masalamate. The Farmers Behavior around Soputan and Manimporok Protected Forest, with the adviser Benu Olfie L.S,. as the chief, Caroline B.D. Pakasi. as the member.      The purpose of this research is to determine the behavior of farmers in managing the agricultural area around Soputan and Manimporok protected forest in Kalatin village in the township of North Lowu, district of Ratahan.  This research was conducted for two months from May to Juny 2015.Data collection used survey method which the data was from primary and secondary data.  The sampling used purposive sampling method to 24 respondents (30%) from 80 leaders of family who work as farmers in Kalatin village.From the analysis results obtained many respondents understand the knowledge of the protected forest, well management in agricultural area, and at every level of the respondent action against protected forest, all respondents stated that will help to develop the conservation of protected forest.  Based on the results above, it can be concluded that the farmers in Kalatin village have good behavior and do not spoil in managing and maintaining agricultural area in Soputan and Manimporok protected forest.  Keywords: Behavior, Farmers, Protected Forest.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The problems of the reseach are how the description and comparison of the inflation rate in the city of Manado and rural areas in North Sulawesi, and how the influence of the inflation rate of each expenditure to the general inflation rate in the city and rural areas. The research was conducted in the city of Manado North Sulawesi for 3 (three) months. The data used is inflation data from January 2009 to December 2014, which analyzed qualitative, and quantitative descriptive in the statistical analysis using different test average analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the average inflation rate for rural areas is relatively high compared with urban areas. seven groups of grouping expenditure in the inflation calculation period 2009-2014 showed that there are four groups that the inflation average rate is higher in cities than in rural, which includes foodstuffs, housing, electricity, gas and fuel; education, recreation and sports; and group transport, communications and financial services. The rest, three other groups show the average inflation rate in the city is lower than in rural areas, which include: food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco; clothing; and health groups. The inflation rate in the city of Manado produce the same patterns with the rate of inflation in the rural areas. The rate of general inflation both in the city of Manado and rural areas is strongly influenced by the inflation rate of seven groups of expenditure for goods and services which consist of foodstuffs, food, clothing, housing, health, education and transport. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to analyze the factors influence the conversion of agriculture land to non agriculture in Northern Districts Minahasa. The variables analyzed were total population, the GDP per capita and the number of industries. Data used for ten years from 2005 to 2014. This research was conducted in December 2015 to January 2016, from preparation to preparation of the report. The data used are secondary data obtained from relevant agencies such as the Central Bureau of Statistics North Sulawesi, Northern Districts Minahasa and the Department of Agriculture of Northern Districts Minahasa. Secondary data were collected that the number of inhabitants, the GDP per capita and the number of Northern Districts Minahasa industry with the time series data (time series). Data analysis was performed using the Linear Regression Analysis. Analysis was performed twice. The results of multiple linear analysis first on a variable number of the population, the GDP per capita and the number of industries that don’t get a good result so needs to be re-done with respesifikasi models by removing one of the variables is the variable the GDP per capita. The results of multiple linear analysis after removing the GDP per capita variable indicates that the number of significant effect on the decline of land in Northern Districts Minahasa. The population continues to increase making the demand for real estate increasingly led to the development of the settlement require land that would utilize agricultural land, agricultural land resulting in a downward trend.Keywords : Northern Districts Minahasa, Conversion

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the advantages and value added received by the processing business akarwangi became essential oil.This research has been conducted since December of 2015 until January of 2016 at the X company , located in North Minahasa Regency. Retrieval and data collection included primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from akarwangi crop production effort using questionnaires. Secondary data were obtained from various print and online media as well as from journals and literature relating to this study. Data analysis methods applied in this study, in order to see how the value-added processing of akarwangi into essential oils is the first to use the analysis of business profits and subsequently used analasis value added. The results showed that business processing akarwangi becomes essential oil provides a great advantage, by using the main raw material of akarwangi were harvested from plantation company itself as many as 24. 375 kg can produce 243,75 kg essential oils of akarwangi and the price of essential oil per kilogram is equal Rp. 3,000,000. For the price of akarwangi crops on the market in 2007 approximately Rp. 500 / kg (Indrawanto, 2007) and in 2008 the price reached Rp. 800 / kg (Yuhono 2008), Assuming the price of plant akarwangi rise 6-7% annually then in 2015 the average price of akarwangi plants is Rp. 3000 / kg. Gross revenues derived from the company amounting to Rp. 731 250 000, after deducting expenses totaling Rp. 126.155.000, then the net profit processing business akarwangi in Essential Oils Industry Company X in North Minahasa Regency is Rp. 605.095.000. The biggest cost component is the raw material of Rp. 73.125.000. followed by auxiliary materials costs Rp. 19.750.000. then the depreciation tool cost Rp 16.560.000. and labor costs are determined based on the level of wages that have been agreed, length of work and the number of working days Rp. 12,000,000. as well as a rental fee of Rp. 4,000,000. The lowest cost incurred for cost of electricity is Rp. 720,000. By doing the calculation of value-added analysis, the obtained results of the added value of this business is Rp. 621.905.000 and for the value that is added to the raw material of akarwangi is Rp. 25.514/kg. The amount of added value is derived from the total value added of Rp. 621.905.000 divided by 24. 375 kg amount of raw material akarwangi used and the results is Rp. 25.514/ kg, meaning that for every one kilogram of raw materials akarwangi used can provide additional value of Rp. 25.514. in the production of akarwangi into Essential Oils.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to analyze the effect of Section Urban Area limits (BWK) Tomohon City Center to other districts in the region of Tomohon and influence to several other surrounding regions, namely, Sonder, South Tondano and Tombariri. This study uses data obtained BPS North Sulawesi, BPS Tomohon, Tomohon City Department of Transportation, damn Global Positioning System (GPS). The data used in this research are secondary and primary data. Variable-variables measured in this study includes the total population (people) and distance (km). In this study, the analysis used is Breaking Point. The study lasted from December to January from preparation, data collection, to preparing the results of the research report. The research location is in Tomohon.The results of this study indicate that the development BWK Tomohon City Center (Central Tomohon) has a limit of influence varies in the surrounding area. BWK Tomohon City Center (Central Tomohon) influence on Eastern Tomohon, Tomohon Barat, Sonder, South Tondano and Tombariri. Northern Territory influence on BWK TomohonTomohon City Centre (Central Tomohon), while South Tomohon same effect on the strength of BWK Tomohon City Center (Central Tomohon). Tomohon overall effect is very significant to the three surrounding area.Keywords: Tomohon City

Pakasi, SP., MSi as a member.The goal in this research, analyze marketing margins cut chrysanthemum flowers in the village Kakaskasen Two North Tomohon sub district Tomohon.The study lasted six months, from the preparation to the preparation of reports that in April 2016 to October 2016. The implementation of the research is in the Village Kakaskasen two North Tomohon sub district Tomohon. The data used in this research is the primary data is by asking based questionnaire to farmers and sellers of chrysanthemums in the village Kakaskasen II North Tomohon sub district City secondary Tomohon.Data obtained from the department of Agriculture and Village Office Tomohon Kakaskasen two. The sampling method was done by snowball sampling. Census were used in this research that the population of farmers growing cut flower chrysanthemum and subsequently traced to the owner florist chrysanthemum cut flowers in the village Kakaskasen II, up to the consumer level. The results showed, that the marketing margin obtained is 53.33%. The costs incurred by retailers that Rp.823,78 by stalk or 10,98%. While the profit margin obtained Rp.3.176,22 by stalk.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to analyze the comparative advantage of coconut-based products export in North Sulawesi from 2006 to 2015. Data used in this research is secondary data, which is come from the previous researched and various literature. Data are also obtained from relevant agencies, such as the Asian Pacific Coconut Community (APCC) Jakarta and from relevant agencies, Department of Industry and Commerce of North Sulawesi, Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sulawesi, Department of Agriculture of North Sulawesi and Department of Plantation of North Sulawesi. Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) method is used in this research. The results showed that all exports of coconut-based products during 2006-2015 have comparative advantage and have strong competitiveness, except in the year 2014-2015 charcoal and copra products experienced a decline in competitiveness.Keywords : Export, Competitiveness, Comparative Advantage.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis trading system is built to generate high agro commodity competitiveness through increased market access. To support the trading system then this system must have some advantages. This writing aims to describe the number of commodities and products transacted in the Auction Market of Agro Commodities as an alternative to the marketing of agricultural products. This research will be conducted for 3 months from May to July starting from preparation of data up to the preparation of research result report. The research is located in North Sulawesi Province. The data used is secondary obtained from the Department of Industry and Trade Pronvinsi Sulawesi Utara with existing data. The data obtained in this study will be analyzed by using descriptive analysis and will be presented in tabular form. The results of this study can be seen from describing the transactions that occur Hybrid Corn Commodity is consistently available and create a contract agreement, while Kopra commodity although not consistent but the contract agreement is greater than other commodities.Keywords : Market, Commodities, Agro

Abstract

ABSTRACT  The purpose of this research is to find out how the activities of onion and potato farming in South Bongkudai Village, Mooat District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency East. The purpose of this research is to find out how the activities of onion and potato farming in South Bongkudai Village, Mooat District, Bolaang Mongondow Regency East. The population in this study are all farmers who have worked on potato and onion farming. Samples were taken as many as 30 respondents engaged in onion plants and 30 respondents engaged in potato plants. Simple random sampling (simple random sampling) in the village of South Bongkudai. The data obtained in this study were analyzed by identifying activities using descriptive analysis methods with the help of tables. Based on the results of the study showed that some of the economic activities of the agricultural sector in the village of South Bongkudai consisted of horticultural crops, especially leeks and potatoes. The highest activity in the employment of onion farming is maintenance activities and for potato farming is maintenance activities. At the income level, potato farming is higher than leek farming.     Keywords :  Activities of farming, labor absorption, income farming
