Abstract

This research is about the Rumah Belajar as a Place for Strengthening Community Literacy in the Melang Learning House which is a form of information facility and learning center for the surroundings in upgrading comprehension, expertness, knowledge, and reading skills as well as skills in managing Melang Learning House for the community. To know what kind of literacy strengthening is being used at the Rumah Belajar Melang. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data were collected by observation, interview, and see documents. This study uses qualitative data analysis which will be applied by researchers referring to Miles and Huberman's analytic concepts as follows: Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Drawing Conclusions. The results of the study show that literacy-strengthening activities at the Melang Learning House include basic literacy (reading, writing, and speaking) and skills in processing agricultural products, waste, and used goods into goods of economic value.

Abstract

Sebagai salah satu kegiatan utama dalam membangun kelautan dan perikanan yang menghasilkan ekspor, budidaya rumput laut harus dilakukan dengan sungguhsungguh dan tekun agar dapat menghasilkan produk yang bermutu tinggi. Masyarakat melakukan eksploitasi terhadap lingkungan hidup, khususnya biota laut tersebut, tanpa mempertimbangkan atau mengurangi kerugian lingkungan hidup yang diakibatkan oleh perbuatannya. Hal ini dilakukan oleh masyarakat umum karena kurangnya pengetahuan yang mereka punya sehingga mereka dapat memanfaatkan biota-biota laut dengan berlebihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana masyarakat memperoleh manfaat dari Budidaya Rumput Laut di Desa Oelolot, Kecamatan Rote Barat, serta faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat proses tersebut. Salah satu jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Tahap penyadaran dan pembentukan perillaku, Tahap Proses Transformasi Kemampuan Berrupa Pengetahuan dan Kecakapan Ketrampilan, dan Tahap Peningkatan Kemampuan Intelektual dan Ketrampilan Untuk tertutup Kemandirian merupakan tiga tahapan yang didasarkan pada hasil pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui rumput laut di Desa Oelolot. Hasil kajian perubahan masyarakat meliputi pengembangan pengetahuan tentang bagaimana masyarakat berperilaku dan kepribadiannya sehingga dapat mengidentifikasi potensi, pertumbuhan, dan kecakapan, serta kajian budidaya kelautan yang berkontribusi terhadap perekonomian masyarakat.

Abstract

The leadership style of a leader reflects how they act, behave, or present themselves when in control. Depending on the situation, leaders may adopt different styles. Leadership style refers to the approach used by a leader in directing, motivating, and managing a team to achieve specific goals. It reflects the leader’s character, values, and communication methods in decision-making and managing relationships with subordinates.This study aims to identify the leadership style of the PKBM (Community Learning Center) manager in developing PKBM Bintang Flobamora in Kupang City. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, involving six research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis included collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Source and methodological triangulation were used to ensure data validity.The study found four main leadership styles applied by the manager:(1) Democratic: Involves staff in decision-making, encourages collaborative problem-solving, works closely with subordinates, and maintains strong communication. (2) Charismatic: Uses persuasive communication to inspire staff, applies appropriate language, engages effectively in meetings, and provides motivational support. (3) Authoritarian: Makes independent decisions only in urgent situations that require immediate action, while explaining the rationale afterward.(4) Moralistic: Demonstrates concern for staff development, listens to complaints, and fosters a respectful and supportive work environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the diffusion of innovations involving the use of hau fo in tea bag production. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. This research was conducted at the Dapur Kelor Office of RSS Oesapa, Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara. Six informants participated in this study. Data collection was conducted using three methods: observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the innovation carried out by Dapur Kelor aims to introduce the public to the fact that the moringa plant can be consumed in other processed forms, such as moringa tea bags, which have good nutrition for the body. This innovation was also carried out to improve the economy of moringa farmers and raise the economic standards of MSMEs. The marketing of the moringa tea bag innovation uses an application to sell processed products from Dapur Kelor in the Dapur Kelor Id store on Tokopedia, through Instagram, and directly to consumers. The decision-making process for the moringa tea bag innovation is considered successful because it has increased from year to year. Dapur Kelor itself employs SPGs (Sales Promotion Girls) and also collaborates with the Regional Government
