Abstract

Artikel tersebut membahas tentang kesulitan mahasiswa dalam berbicara, faktor-faktor penghalang pada kesulitan mahasiswa dalam berbicara, dan upaya untuk menyelesaikan masalah dalam berbicara. Kesimpulan dari artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan mahasiswa dalam berbicara takut untuk melakukan kesalahan, mereka tidak memiliki rasa percaya diri, waktu yang terbatas dalam menggunakan bahasa Inggris, kosakata rendah, pengucapan, dan tata bahasa, kuantitas mereka dalam pembelajaran berbicara, dan faktor psikologis mereka. Kemudian, faktor penghambat kesulitan siswa dalam berbicara adalah ketidakmampuan dalam berbicara, tidak ada motivasi, mahasiswa merasa malu dan tidak memiliki kemauan untuk berbicara, mereka biasanya menggunakan bahasa ibu, lebih sedikit tugas yang diberikan kepada mereka, sulit topik, dosen mengajar dengan serius, dan kurang menggunakan bahasa Inggris di kelas oleh mereka. Sementara itu, upaya untuk menyelesaikan masalah dalam berbicara diberikan saran kepada mahasiswa agar mereka merasa percaya diri di kelas, menciptakan persahabatan dan menghidupkan kembali suasana yang baik di kelas, menemukan strategi yang baik sehingga mereka dapat berkomunikasi satu sama lain, menganggap bahwa berbicara Bahasa Inggris adalah cara yang baik untuk membangun rasa percaya diri mereka untuk berbicara, penting untuk masa depan, dan menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif, permainan, dan metode KWL dalam berbicara.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of female directors on agency costs, which is an important issue in corporate governance. And Management Discussion and Analysis as moderator. Female directors on agency costs. Using a sample of manufacturing companies registered in Indonesia in 2019-2021. In this study, it was measured using regression. Our findings provide evidence that the appointment of female directors can improve corporate governance, but does not affect or reduce agency costs. Meanwhile, the Management Discussion and Analysis variable is not able to moderate or strengthen the influence of the female director variable on agency costs, so that in further research we can add other variables related to corporate governance.

Abstract

Digital transformation has significantly expanded opportunities for multilingual literacy in Indonesia, yet its integration within the Merdeka Curriculum at the junior high school level, especially in linguistically diverse regions such as Jambi Province, remains underexplored. This study aims to examine how digital-based multilingual literacy is implemented and to identify factors that facilitate or hinder its practice. A qualitative exploratory case study design was employed, involving five schools, three language teachers, one principal, and three students. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were thematically analyzed to capture pedagogical strategies, student experiences, and institutional support. Findings indicate that the Merdeka Curriculum enables the adaptation of national policies to local sociolinguistic contexts through translanguaging, digital storytelling, and collaborative learning strategies, enhancing student engagement, creativity, and communication skills. Challenges such as disparities in infrastructure, limited teacher training, and inconsistent policy application were observed, while active teacher agency, visionary school leadership, and community collaboration emerged as key factors sustaining innovation. Limitations include the restricted scope of research sites and the absence of quantitative evaluation of learning outcomes. Overall, the study concludes that integrating multilingual and digital literacy promotes inclusive and adaptive learning, strengthens students’ national identity, and fosters global competencies. Policy implications include the need for structured professional development, equitable allocation of digital resources, and participatory school governance to ensure the sustainability and scalability of multilingual-digital practices in Indonesian education.
