Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research that aims to determine whether there is an effect of practical learning outcomes, student motivation and student readiness on the results of industrial work practices for students in the Electrical Power class SMKN 2 Serang City and how big the effect is. The research method used is quantitative research which consists of 4 variables, namely Basic Electrical and Electronics Learning Outcomes (X1), Learning Motivation (X2), Student Readiness (X3), Industrial Work Practice Results (Y). The data were taken using questionnaires, tests, and final grades of students which were then processed using the SPSS data analysis application. The results of the study show that there is no effect between basic electrical and electronic learning outcomes on industrial work practice results with a value of sig (0.279 > 0.05), student learning motivation has an influence on students' industrial work practice results with a value of sig (0.026 < 0.05), student readiness has an influence on the results of industrial work practices with a sig value (0.045 < 0.05). Based on the results of the analysis showed that the basic learning outcomes of electricity and electronics, learning motivation and student readiness had an effect of 0.071 or 7.1% unit. Abstract

Tujuan  penelitian  ini  adalah untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan media pembelajaran Trainer PLC OMRON dan software CX-Programmer pada mata pelajaran SistemPengendali Elektronik kelas XII Jurusan Teknik Elektronika Industri SMK Negeri 4 Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dalam bidang pendidikan, bertujuan mengetahui unjuk kerja, tingkat kelayakan Trainer PLC OMRON dan software CX-Programmer sebagai media pembelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa media pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran dan praktikum materi PLC. Hasil dari Tingkat kelayakan media trainer mendapatkan skor 54,6 dengan nilai SBX = 42 maka rentan skor kategori yang didapat adalah “Sangat Layak”, dan tingkat kelayakan materi mendapatkan skor 70,3 dengan nilai SBx = 54 maka rentan skor yang didapat adalah “Sangat Layak”. Tingkat efektivitas media trainer mendapatkan hasil yang sangat signifikan. Hasil penilaian rata-rata siswa pada saat sebelum melakukan pembelajaran dengan trainer dan jobsheet mendapatkan hasil 42,78 dan hasil setelah menggunakan trainer dan jobsheet 80,08, dan diperoleh skor 0,65 pada uji n-gain sebagai tingkat efektivitas trainer di SMKN 4 Kota Serang.

Abstract

Peran robot manipulator pada dunia industri era revolusi industri 4.0 menjadi sangat krusial karena mampu memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada dunia industri khususnya dalam efisiensi dan efektifitas produksi. Melihat kondisi pandemi saat ini, proses produksi di industri sedikit terhambat karena pekerja diharuskan untuk bekerja secara remotely dan pengendalian robot selama ini dilakukan secara on-site. Dengan perkembangan revolusi industri 4.0, maka dari itu dibuatlah Prototype Automated Manipulator yang dapat dikontrol secara wireless baik manual atau otomatis dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler NodeMCU ESP8266 dan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Metode penelitian yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode prototyping dengan pengujian sistem minimum dan kinerja robot. Hasil pengujian  pengukuran system minimum dan kinerja kontrol robot yang telah dilakukan sebanyak 15 kali menunjukkan bahwa Prototype Automated Manipulator Robot  dapat dioperasikan dengan baik dengan persentase error secara keseluruhan kurang dari 1% dan dapat dikontrol secara wireless dan otomatis melalui aplikasi Blynk.

Abstract

The research is a research and development (RD) with the aim to produce learning media products in the form of pneumatic trainer kits and pneumatic jobsheet trainers as pneumatic material in mechatronics courses to determine the level of eligibility and strengthening of competencies in Vocational Education in Electrical Engineering FKIP Untirta. This study uses the 4D or Defne model, namely the problem definition stage to be investigated, Design which is the product design stage and the material design josbheet material, Development (Development), namely the product manufacturing stage, product validation as well as user testing with competency strengthening and Dessiminate. The final product resulting from this development research is in the form of an electropneatic trainer kit and jobsheet which is also the main object of research. The method used in collecting data in this study includes interviews, observation, questionnaires and test questions for strengthening psychomotor competence. Testing the feasibility level of pneumatic media trainer kit involves three media experts and three material experts, as well as testing for psychomotor competency strengthening conducted by students of the Electrical Engineering Vocational Education study program in the 6th semester of 2017. The power analysis technique uses quantitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the study obtained a score on the feasibility test of media experts to get 91.3 included in the category of "Very Eligible", scores on the feasibility test of material experts obtained 86.3 who were included in the category of "Very Eligible", and the results of the answers to the matter of strengthening psychomotor competence obtained a score of answering with "True" of 324 while the score of answering with "False" of 96 which states that a pneumatic trainer kit along with a pneumatic trainer josbheet can be used as a reinforcement of competence in mechatronics courses.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) develop learning media trainer smart relay zelio SR3B261BD; (2) knowing the feasibility level of learning media trainer smart relay zelio SR3B261BD used in the subjects of electronic control system; and (3) knowing the level of effectiveness of learning media. The research method used is Reaearch and Development (R&D). The development model used is ADDIE with the following stages of research: analyze, design, development, implementation, evalution. The results of the study are: (1) the development of learning media trainer smart relay zelio SR3B261BD according to the design and equipped with a jobsheet and manual book, (2) the feasibility of learning media by media experts get an average score (X) of 3,31 “Good/decent”, the assessment of material experts received an average score (X) of 3,42 that is “very good/well deserved” and the user ratings are getting a score of 3,44 that is “very good/very decent”, and (3) the effectiveness of learning media trainer smart relay zelio SR3B261BD get result score of 0,72 which is catagorized as “very high”.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Know the stages of developing and designing a power electronics trainer. (2) Knowing the feasibility test of a power electronics trainer in terms of media experts and material experts as a tool in power electronics courses. (3) Knowing student responses regarding power electronics trainers as learning media in power electronics courses. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) study with a Four-D model (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination). The subjects of this study were 2 expert lecturers, 2 electronics teachers, 1 electrical technician and electrical engineering vocational education students who had carried out power electronics practices. The research results obtained in the feasibility test in this study obtained a score from media experts, namely 93% with a very feasible category, a score from material experts 97% with a very feasible category, and an assessment from respondents with a score of 87% with a very feasible category.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the teacher's strategy in the learning process of practical productive subjects. The research was conducted at SMKN 1 Kramatwatu using a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Determination of informants using snowball sampling technique. Informants in this study were teachers and students of class XI, the competence of Electrical Power Installation Engineering. The validity of the data in this study uses source, technique, and time triangulation. The data analysis technique used in this study is the interactive model Miles, Huberman and Saldana with the help of ATLAS TI 9 software. The results obtained in this study are (1) implementing contextual strategies used when conducting apperception activities and providing stimulus to students; (2) managing the class by implementing a rolling system, supervising and guiding students; (3) applying peer tutors; and (4) communicating persuasively by taking a personal approach to students and giving reprimands and advice when students violate or make mistakes.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study which aims to find the influence of the learning environment, learning motivation and learning independence on the learning outcomes of TITL concentration vocational school students in Serang City. The method used is quantitative with an Ex Post Facto approach. The population in this study was 409 students at the TITL concentration vocational school in the city of Serang, and the sample used was 202 students, with data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. The results of the research are (1) there is a negative and significant influence of the learning environment (X1) on learning outcomes (Y) of 3.9%, (2) there is a negative and significant influence of learning motivation (X2) on learning outcomes (Y) of 10, 3%, (3) there is a negative and significant influence of learning independence (X3) on learning outcomes (Y) of 3.9%, (4) there is a simultaneous and significant influence of the learning environment (X1) and learning motivation (X2) on learning outcomes (Y) is 27.2%, (5) there is a simultaneous and significant influence of learning motivation (X2) and learning independence (X3) on learning outcomes (Y) of 10.8%, (6) there is a simultaneous and significant influence of the learning environment (X1) and learning independence (X3) on learning outcomes (Y) of 10.6%, (7) there is a simultaneous and significant influence of the learning environment (X1), learning motivation (X2) and learning independence (X3) on learning outcomes ( Y) of 28.8%. So it can be concluded that the learning environment, learning motivation and learning independence have an influence on the learning outcomes of TITL concentration vocational school students in the city of Serang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap akuisisi kompetensi keahlian teknik instalasi tenaga listrik pada siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan untuk memperoleh kompetensi melalui kegiatan praktik kerja industri. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus. Informan pada penelitian ini adalah pembimbing industri, pembimbing siswa dari sekolah, dan siswa peserta praktik kerja industri. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data dilaksanakan dengan model interaktif Miles Huberman, meliputi pengumpulan data, data condensation, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) proses yang dilalui siswa dalam memperoleh kompetensi dapat dilihat dari tiga aspek, yaitu: aspek pengetahuan (mengamati, diskusi, dan mencoba), aspek keterampilan (siswa mengamati, pembimbing memberikan contoh, siswa mendiagnosis permasalahan, siswa mengerjakan, siswa bertanya, dan pembimbing mengecek hasil pekerjaan) dan aspek sikap (tuntutan, adopsi, dan terbiasa); dan (2) kompetensi yang diperoleh siswa dapat dilihat dari tiga aspek, yaitu: aspek pengetahuan (dunia kerja, bersosialisasi, melayani pelanggan, bekerja dalam tim, dan pengetahuan di bidang ketenagalistrikan), aspek keterampilan (bersosialisasi, melayani pelanggan, bekerja dalam tim, dan keterampilan dibidang keahlian ketenagalistrikan), dan aspek sikap (disiplin, bekerja keras, tanggung jawab, minat bekerja, dan minat berwirausaha). Kata kunci: akuisisi, kompetensi instalasi listrik, hasil belajar, praktik kerja industri THE ACQUISITION OF ELECTRIC POWER INSTALLATION COMPETENCIES OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS THROUGH INDUSTRIAL WORK PRACTICE Abstract This research aimed to reveal the acquisition electric power installation competencies of vocational high school students through industrial work practice. The research used the qualitative case study approach. The informants of this research were industrial mentors, school mentors, and students who participated in the industrial job practice. The data were collected through in-depth interviews and observation. The data analysis technique adopted the interactive analysis model of Miles Huberman which included data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The result of this research showed that: (1) the process through which the students acquired competence could be seen from three aspects: aspect of knowledge (observing, discussing, and practicing); aspect of skills (students observed, supervisor gave examples, students diagnosed problems, students began working, students asked questions, and mentors checked the results of the work); and aspect of attitude (demand, adoption, and habit); and (2) the competence the students obtained could be seen from three aspects: aspects of knowledge (the world of work, socializing, serving customers, working in teams, and knowledge in the field of electric power), aspects of skills (socializing, serve customers, work in teams, and expertise in the field of electric power), and aspects of attitude (disciplined, hard-working, responsible, interested in working, and interested in entrepreneurship).
