Abstract

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of technology being integrated in learning, including numeracy. As a result of initial observations, 60% of students understood the basic concept of numeracy, while most teachers had no experience in developing numeracy problems or using the testmoz application. This study aims to describe the perception of SDN 09 Muaro Kalaban teachers on the effectiveness of training in the development of numerical questions based on the testmoz application. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were 7 people. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the majority of teachers have a very positive perception of this training. There were no negative responses from respondents to this training. The results of this study show that this training is effective in improving teacher competence, providing significant benefits to numeracy-based learning, and can be used as a model for teacher professional development in other schools. So it can be concluded that the training on the development of numeracy questions based on the testmoz application at SDN 09 Muaro Kalaban is considered very effective in improving teacher competence

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of understanding of the material by students, student boredom in learning, limited learning resources and the use of technology in learning that has not been maximized. The purpose of this study is to produce interactive learning media based on emaze using a contextual approach to integer material for class VII of SMP Negeri 4 Kubung. This type of research is research and development, using PLOOMP development consisting of three stages (Preliminary Research Phase, Design & Develop Prototype, Evaluation). The instruments used are teacher and student interview questionnaires, validation questionnaires consisting of language experts, media experts and material experts. The development of interactive learning media based on emaze goes through three stages. The first stage is preliminary analysis, namely: needs analysis, curriculum analysis, concept analysis, and analysis of student characteristics. The second stage: Creation and development, namely self-evaluation and expert validation. The third stage of evaluation is an assessment of whether interactive learning media based on emaze is valid for use. Based on the results of the validation of the material expert questionnaire 96.67%, media experts 83.88%, and language experts 88.00%, so that the average of the four validators is 89.51%. The results of this validation indicate that the developed emaze-Based Interactive Learning Media has been tested for quality and declared valid for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This community service program titled "Socialization and Training on the Utilization of Solar Energy as an Environmentally Friendly Electricity Source in Karang Taruna, Gambir District" aimed to address the critical issues faced by the community due to their heavy reliance on unstable and costly fossil energy from PLN (the state-owned electricity company). The program also targeted the low understanding and practical skills related to solar energy and the underutilization of solar energy potential in urban settings. The implementation comprised two core components: socialization of solar energy and climate change impacts, and hands-on training on mini solar panel systems. Using interactive lectures, demonstrations, direct practices, and discussions, the program was conducted on March 16, 2025, involving 31 participants mainly from Karang Taruna members. A significant improvement in participants’ comprehension was observed, with average pre-test scores rising from 45 to 82, indicating an 82.22% increase. Furthermore, participant satisfaction reached 90.32%, alongside a 70.96% enhancement in practical ability to operate mini solar panel setups. Key outputs included teaching materials, posters, and scientific articles, collectively contributing toward enhanced community energy independence, reduced electricity costs, and promotion of clean energy adoption in urban areas.
