Abstract

Faktor penyebab obesitas remaja bersifat multifaktorial. Peningkatan konsumsi makanan cepat saji (fast food), rendahnya aktivitas fisik, faktor genetik, pengaruh iklan, faktor psikologis, status sosial ekonomi, program diet, usia, dan jenis kelamin merupakan faktor yang berkontribusi pada perubahan keseimbangan energi. Upaya peningkatan pengetahuan pada remaja diperlukan suatu media pembelajaran yang dapat menggambarkan konsep fisik secara nyata. Salah satu media yang dapat di gunakaan adalah video. Penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui cara pembuatan, Indikator yang digunakan, Kualitas sebagai media pembelajaran audio visual untuk anak remaja Obesitas di Kota Jayapura. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan juni – Agustus 2021, jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) Sampel pada penelitian ini adala 31 anak remaja berusia 15-18 tahun di kota jayapura. Pada perancangan produk yang pertama dilakukan adalah penyusunan materi, Pembuatan Script Video, Pembuatan Story Board Video, filming Video, dan Editing Video.Penilaian Kualitas media di uji coba pada anak remaja didapatkan bahwa Aspek Pembelajaran presentase penilaian 92,74%, Aspek materi 91.93%, Aspek media 90.32%, dan Aspek penggunaan 92.74%. Penelitian ini telah menghasil Suatu Produk Media Audio Visual Gizi Seimbang berupa Video dengan format MP4. Media audio visual Gizi Seimbang pada Remaja dapat dinyatakan “Sangat Layak”.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui media video hipertensi sebagai media edukasi gizi bagi pasien hipertensi. Penelitian pada bulan Juli 2021 di Kota Jayapura, Jenis penelitian R & D (Research and Development). Metode pengembangan yang dilakukan terdiri dari 7 tahapan yaitu: (1) Identifikasi potensi dan masalah, (2) Pengumpulan data yang meliputi pengumpulan materi dan pembuatan script video, (3) Desain produk yang meliputi pembuatan Story Board Video dan  Pembuatan Editing Video, (4) Validasi ahli materi dan media yang dilakukan oleh ahli dilanjutkan revisi serta uji coba terhadap responden, (5) Revisi produk yang meliputi perbaikan dari media yang disarankan dari para ahli, (6) Uji coba produk dilakukan kepada responden; dan Produk akhir. Hasil validasi ahli materi mendapatkan presentase kelayakan sebesar 50% dengan kriteria “Cukup Baik”. Hasil validasi dari kedua ahli media mendapatkan presentase kelayakan sebesar 91% dengan kriteria “Sangat Baik”. Hasil uji coba mendapatkan presentase kelayakan sebesar 78,2%, hasil presentase tersebut masuk pada kategori “Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dan tanggapan yang diperoleh dari para ahli dan responden maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media layak untuk digunakan dan dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian dan tanggapan yang diperoleh dari para ahli dan responden maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa media layak untuk digunakan dan dikembangkan.

Abstract

Terjadi peningkatan akses layanan kesehatan dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pencegahan stunting di Wilayah Papua, akan tetapi tantangan signifikan terdapat pada keterbatasan infrastruktur, kekurangan tenaga kesehatan, isolasi geografis, dan hambatan budaya dalam pencegahan stunting. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengevaluasi kebijakan strategis dalam pencegahan stunting di Kabupaten Keerom, Provinsi Papua, dengan menyoroti intervensi gizi spesifik dan sensitif, serta kampanye edukasi yang telah diimplementasikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus dengan mengkaji kebijakan penanganan stunting. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan fokus group discussion dan round table discussion. Analisis data menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kebijakan strategis dalam pencegahan stunting di Kabupaten Keerom, Provinsi Papua, telah mencakup intervensi gizi spesifik dan sensitif, serta kampanye edukasi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya gizi seimbang. Meskipun demikian, penelitian mengidentifikasi tantangan utama yang menghambat efektivitas kebijakan tersebut, termasuk keterbatasan infrastruktur, kekurangan tenaga kesehatan, dan isolasi geografis. Selain itu, kebiasaan budaya lokal juga memainkan peran dalam menghambat penerapan praktik gizi yang baik. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kebijakan ini, rekomendasi yang diberikan meliputi peningkatan infrastruktur, penambahan dan pelatihan tenaga kesehatan, serta penyesuaian pendekatan kampanye edukasi yang lebih sesuai dengan konteks budaya lokal.

Abstract

Adolescent girls are at risk of suffering from anemia, because during this period there is an increase in iron requirements due to growth and menstruation. This study aimed to determine differences in anemia status and knowledge of young women before and after counseling and giving blood supplement tablets. The research was conducted from March 24 to April 24 2022 at SMPN 4 Arso, Keerom Regency. The research method used a quasi-experimental research type with a One Pretest-Posttest Group Design. Determination of samples based on certain considerations. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The data collection method uses sample identity data, knowledge data and nutritional anemia data obtained by measuring the sample's hemoglobin levels. Analysis uses the Wilcoxon Test. It is known that the statistical test results show Asymp.sig = 0.000 where the Asymp.sig value 0.05. There was a difference in increasing the knowledge of young women using counseling and action posters. Anemia status before intervention was found in 18 samples (100%) with anemia status before intervention. Meanwhile, anemia status after intervention was 3 samples (16.66%). This shows that there was a difference in the anemia status of young women before and after giving blood supplement tablets. The study concluded that there were differences in knowledge and anemia status after the intervention of giving Fe tablets and education using action posters. Suggestions for further research could consider other factors that can influence knowledge and anemia status, such as diet and physical activity.

Abstract

High blood sugar levels can hasten the liver's production of triglycerides. Normally, the body uses glucose as one of its energy sources. This study aimed to determine changes in the weight of mice and decrease triglyceride levels in mice by administering Moringa leaf extract. This type of research is a pure experiment with a "pre and post-randomized controlled group" design. This was carried out using a repeated ANOVA test, a sample of 25 mice. The research used male white rats of the Wistar strain, which were induced with STZ (Streptozotocin) at a dose of 65 mg/kg BW and NA 230 mg/kg BW, where the experimental animals were divided into 5 groups, namely negative control group, positive control and 3 treatment groups given the extract. from Moringa leaves at a dose of 200, 300, 400 mg/kg BW of rats. The optimal dose of Moringa leaves for losing weight and reducing triglyceride levels in mice is a dose of 400 mg/kg of mouse body weight. Glibenclamide (0.09 mg/kg rat body weight) and Moringa leaf extract (300 mg/kg rat body weight) are each the optimal dose to reduce glucose levels in rats. With a p value for each variable of 0.001, administration of Moringa leaf extract affected body weight, glucose and triglyceride levels in white Wistar rats with type 2 diabetes induced by streptozotocin. These findings suggest that Moringa leaf extract may have potential therapeutic effects in treating diabetes-related complications.

Abstract

Based on the 2022 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey, the prevalence of stunted toddlers in Papua remained high at 34,6%, with Jayapura Regency specifically recording a rate of 20,2%. This issue needed to be addressed seriously in order to accelerate the reduction of stunting. Providing an appropriate modified MP-ASI (complementary feeding) formula was associated with improving the nutritional status of toddlers. MP-ASI could also be subsidized with local food sources, supporting the government’s efforts in diversifying food consumption. Posyandu cadres required training in preparing MP-ASI using local food ingredients to assist mothers of toddlers in providing balanced and nutritious meals. The purpose of this community service activity was to conduct training and mentoring for Posyandu cadres in Nolokla Village, East Sentani District, on how to produce MP-ASI. The community service design employed a community-based participatory approach using lectures, group discussions, and hands-on practice. The training was conducted over the course of one day, using tilapia fish and kepok bananas as main ingredients, processed into biscuits. A total of seven cadres from Posyandu Maleo 1 participated in the activity. This activity was implemented from May to November 2024. The results demonstrated an improvement in both the knowledge and skills of the cadres, with pre-test scores increasing by 15 points after the intervention. The training effectively enhanced the cadres’ ability to process MP-ASI from local food ingredients and is expected to become a sustainable, community-based intervention for stunting prevention.
