Abstract

This study aims to analyze the meaning of the word “pretender” in the song Pretender by HIGE DANdism. This research uses descriptive-qualitative methods with literature techniques, non-interactive, and listening methods. The lyrics in the song entitled Pretender are written in Japanese. Through descriptive analysis techniques, 7 data were found in the Pretender song lyrics. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that expressive indirectness in Riffaterre's semiotic theory can explore the implied meaning in song. These implied meanings are characterized by displacement of meaning in the form of similes, hyperbole and metaphors; The distortion of meaning that appears in this song is in the form of ambiguity; and the creation of meaning in the form of homologue i.e the words motto chigau and sou negattemo. The indirectness of these expressions is used to reinforce the pretense of the character I (Me). Thus, the conclusion of this research is that the meaning of pretending in the Pretender song by HIGE DANdism is in accordance with the literal meaning, which is to show or express something that is inversely proportional to what is felt. So, hiding the true feelings. Keywords: Riffaterre semiotics, pretender, HIGE DANdism, expressive indirectness, song

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research. Cooperative learning is a learning strategy carried out in groups and interacting with other students. Fraction card media is a learning medium used to assist teachers in explaining the concept of simple fractions with the basic competence of comparing simple fractions. After conducting an evaluation on learning mathematics about recognizing fractions through card media, in class II the researcher experienced a failure as evidenced by the acquisition of a value that was far from the expectations of the researcher, only 10 of the 38 students could achieve the minimum completeness value, meaning only 10 students passed . In cycle I, the score was 65, out of 38 students, there were 15 students who scored above 65, so there were already 15 students who achieved the minimum completeness score, however, there are still 15 students who scored below the completeness value of learning because they still got the grade. below 65. The lowest score of the student is 40 and the highest score is 80. This success is based on the acquisition of a class average score of 77 with a grade of completeness at 93%.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the suboptimal development of gross motor skills among children aged 5–6 years, as well as the limited research on the implementation of Senam Anak Indonesia Hebat (SAIH) as a structured habituation program in early childhood education. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Senam Anak Indonesia Hebat (SAIH) in developing gross motor skills of children aged 5–6 years at KB Bestari, as well as to identify its supporting factors and challenges. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach involving 14 children (6 boys and 8 girls) and one Group B teacher as subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results indicate that the structured implementation of SAIH twice a week contributes positively to children’s balance, strength, and movement coordination. A total of 85.7% of children were categorized as Developing as Expected (BSH) and Beginning to Develop (MB). Supporting factors include teacher readiness, appropriate music selection, and gradual movement design, while challenges mainly involve maintaining children’s focus and mastering cross-lateral coordination. Therefore, SAIH can be considered an effective physical activity–based instructional strategy to optimize early childhood gross motor development.
