Abstract

Abstract

Poetoek Soeko Rainbow Garden Tour is one of the tourism attractions managed by BUMDES Sukosari Makmur in Trawas-East Java that provide beautiful flower garden objects. The presence of a café is one of the supporting factors of rainbow garden tourism. To give characteristics and improve visitor interest, café menu diversification based on local possibilities must be established. Local potential in the form of spice, tuber and local plants was cultivated through the Matching Fund community service initiative started by UBAYA in the form of instruction in the manufacturing of local-modern fusion food. Participatory Action Research (PAR) method was implemented and delivered in three stages: planning, execution, assessment, and monitoring. This community service initiative resulted in three variations of local-modern cuisine which are implemented in new menu book in the Poetoek Soeko Rainbow Garden café. This program had a beneficial influence on boosting the partners' knowledge and abilities, as evidenced by an examination of test scores before and after the training. Cooking competitions held after product creation not only measure participant skill, but also boost competitiveness in the development of future menus. Based on post-test conducted resulting the increase of knowledge regarding local ingredients and processing up to 15.63%.

Abstract

This study discusses burnout among Generation Z employees who are in the early stages of their careers. The objective of this research is to explore burnout more deeply among early-career Generation Z employees. This is a qualitative study that adopts an interpretive paradigm and a case study approach. The participants in this research are Generation Z employees with work tenure ranging from 0 to 2 years. The data collected were analyzed using open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. The findings of this study reveal several factors contributing to burnout among Generation Z employees, including work organization and job content, interpersonal relationships and leadership, work-life balance and job security, workplace values, health and well-being, personality, and offensive behavior. Additionally, this study identifies social stereotypes as a contributing factor to burnout among Generation Z employees. These factors emphasize that burnout is multifactorial and contextual, particularly within the dynamic yet structurally unstable culture of early-stage startups. If companies are able to establish clearer job descriptions and standard operating procedures (SOPs), provide psychological support and open discussion spaces, create informal activities such as sports or social gatherings to improve work-life balance, and adjust compensation systems to match workload demands, employee performance will increase, ultimately leading to business growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of toxic leadership on turnover intention, counterproductive work behavior (CWB), and job satisfaction in employees of PT. X Indonesia. The phenomenon of increasing employee resignation rates and indications of negative work behavior is an important background for this study. This study used a quantitative approach with a census method, involving 54 respondents from various levels of position. The data analysis technique was carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of the external model evaluation showed that all indicators used met the criteria for validity and reliability, with the value of loading factor, Average Variance Extracted (AVE), and composite reliability above the minimum threshold. Furthermore, the results of the inner model test showed that toxic leadership had a significant positive effect on turnover intention (? = 0.729), and CWB (? = 0.697), and had a significant negative effect on job satisfaction (? = -0.683), all with a p value of < 0.001. The R² value obtained indicates the model's predictive ability to be moderate for all endogenous variables. This study confirms that toxic leadership is a determinant factor that significantly decreases job satisfaction and increases employee exit intention and counterproductive behavior. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of early detection of toxic leadership practices and the development of a healthy organizational culture through managerial interventions and strategic HR policies.
