Abstract

Macrame business in Lampeji Village, Mumbulsari District is one of the alternatives for women's economic empowerment. Macrame is the art of weaving threads that can be made into various products such as bags, wall hangings, and other accessories. Through this business, village women not only get additional income but also skills that improve their quality of life. Rahman, A. & Indriani, T. (2018). The main objective of this study is to determine the role of macrame business in women's economic empowerment in Lampeji Village and how the business can improve the economic welfare of women in Lampeji Village and identify the challenges faced by women in running the macrame business. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through interviews, direct observation and related documentation. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis technique to explore information related to the impact of the business on women's economic empowerment. The results of this study are expected to provide insight into the potential of the macrame business as a tool for women's economic empowerment in the village, as well as provide policy recommendations to improve welfare through training, marketing and access to a wider market.

Abstract

Kajian ini membahas mengenai pemahaman literasi keuangan bagi individu penyandang disabilitas, yang menekanan pada hambatan dan cara untuk memperbaiki akses terhadap informasi keuangan. Pemahaman literasi keuangan sangat penting bagi penyandang disabilitas dalam mengatur keuangan mereka dengan baik dan mencapai tujuan keuangan yang diinginkan. Sayangnya, tingkat pemahaman keuangan di antara kelompok ini masih tergolong rendah, hal ini disebabkan oleh sulitnya akses informasi dan layanan keuangan yang tidak dirancang untuk memenuhi kebutuhan spesifik mereka. Penelitian ini menemukan sejumlah tantangan yang mereka hadapi, antara lain keterbatasan fisik, sensorik, dan kognitif yang menghalangi pemahaman tentang perencanaan keuangan, manajemen utang, serta investasi. Strategi yang disarankan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman keuangan mencakup penciptaan sumber daya keuangan yang ramah disabilitas, penyediaan pelatihan khusus, serta penggunaan teknologi yang dapat disesuaikan untuk mempermudah akses informasi. Peran pemerintah dan lembaga keuangan juga sangat krusial dalam membangun sistem pendidikan keuangan yang lebih inklusif. Dengan mengoptimalkan pemahaman keuangan, diharapkan penyandang disabilitas dapat mencapai kemandirian ekonomi dan berpartisipasi lebih aktif dalam kehidupan sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh persaingan ketat dalam industri makanan, khususnya sektor mie mentah yang menuntut UMKM untuk dapat mempertahankan kepuasan pelanggan sebagai kunci keberlangsungan usaha. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh promosi, kualitas produk dan kualitas pelayanan teerhadap kepuasan pelanggan pada UMKM Mie Mentah Manunggal Jaya Kecamatan Jenggawah, Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan populasi sebanyak 166 pelanggan dan sampel sebanyak 62 responden yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) versi 25, dilengkapi dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, serta uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi dan kualitas produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap kepuasan pelanggan, sedangkan kualitas pelayanan tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara parsial. Namun demikian, secara simultan ketiga variabel tersebut secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa promosi yang efektif dan konsisten dalam menjaga kualitas produk merupakan faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan pada UMKM mie mentah. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis dalam merumuskan strategi pemasaran dan pengembangan produk bagi UMKM serupa di sektor makanan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kepuasan konsumen terhadap kualitas pelayanan pada warung makan legendaris “Tahu Campur Lamongan Cak David” di Kota Jember. Latar belakang penelitian ini terletak pada pentingnya memahami persepsi konsumen dalam bisnis kuliner yang semakin kompetitif. Pendekatan metode campuran yang digunakan, dengan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh dari 78 responden melalui kuesioner dan data kualitatif yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Kepuasan konsumen diukur menggunakan lima dimensi kualitas layanan: transmisi suara, daya tanggap, jaminan, empati, dan bukti fisik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semua dimensi layanan mendapat skor di atas 86%, dengan indeks kepuasan keseluruhan sebesar 86,75%, dikategorikan sangat puas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa warung telah berhasil mempertahankan kualitas layanan yang konsisten dan memuaskan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa layanan yang konsisten dan berkualitas tinggi memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan dan loyalitas konsumen dalam bisnis kuliner tradisional.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of Financial Technology (Fintech) on the consumptive behavior of teenagers in rural areas, specifically in Desa Cumedak, Kecamatan Sumberjambe, Kabupaten Jember. The study is motivated by the increasing use of digital financial services among adolescents, facilitated by easy access through e-wallets and paylater features. This study used a quantitative approach. The research method used was a survey. The sample included 110 respondents aged 15 to 24.. Data were analyzed both descriptively and inferentially using path analysis to examine the direct and indirect effects of Fintech usage, with digital lifestyle as an intervening variable and financial literacy as a moderating variable. The findings indicate that frequent use of Fintech correlates with a higher tendency toward impulsive and unplanned consumption among rural teenagers. The study implies the need to integrate digital financial literacy into school curricula and youth empowerment programs at the community level.

Abstract

Strengthening the entrepreneurial mindset at the Vocational High School (SMK) level is a strategic urgency in preparing adaptive, creative, and independent graduates amidst the dynamics of the world of work and entrepreneurship. One of the relevant learning approaches to develop students' entrepreneurial mindset is the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model, because it is able to stimulate cooperation, communication, and individual responsibility in groups. This study aims to analyze the application of the STAD model in improving the entrepreneurial mindset of class X students at SMK Darul Ulum AS Surur, identify changes in student attitudes in the aspects of creativity, innovation, and independence, and evaluate the effectiveness of the model in improving students' cooperation and communication skills in the context of entrepreneurship. This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach. The research subjects were 30 class X students selected through purposive sampling techniques. The data collection instrument used was a validated entrepreneurial mindset questionnaire supported by documentation and observation. The results of the study showed that the application of the STAD cooperative learning model had a significant effect on improving students' entrepreneurial mindset. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 was obtained, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This means that there is a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results of students' entrepreneurial mindset after the STAD type cooperative learning model was applied.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of disaster education with the development of educational tourism as a holistic post-disaster recovery strategy. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, the data were collected through in-depth interviews with 25 purposively selected participants—teachers, students, community leaders, and government representatives—alongside field observations and document analysis conducted in the Pronojiwo and Candipuro Districts of Lumajang Regency. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis following Braun and Clarke’s framework, supported by triangulation and member checking to ensure validity. The findings reveal five key aspects: (1) A gap between the national curriculum and the contextual needs of disaster education; (2) The potential of community empowerment as a source of experiential learning rooted in local wisdom; (3) Increased student engagement through experiential learning based on educational tourism; (4) Local government support that is not yet accompanied by adequate coordination and policy frameworks; and (5) The emergence of a sustainable education–economy ecosystem through social entrepreneurship. This study concludes that the integration model of disaster education and educational tourism offers a double-win solution: not only restoring the education sector through a contextual approach but also driving community economic recovery. The research implications recommend the development of a local-content disaster curriculum, teacher training based on trauma-informed pedagogy, and the establishment of a multi-stakeholder collaborative forum to create a resilient and sustainable learning environment in disaster-prone areas.
