Abstract

Abstract

Background: Long waiting times in outpatient services often reduce service quality. Digital solutions such as online queue systems, including Mobile JKN, are increasingly used to improve efficiency, but their impact on overall service quality remains unclear. Objective: This study aims to examine how effective an online queue system is in improving service quality at Dustira Hospital. Methods: A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was applied. Participants were selected through purposive sampling, resulting in a total of 379 respondents. Data were collected using structured questionnaires with Likert-scale responses to assess both the performance of the online queue system and perceived service quality. The independent variable refers to the effectiveness of the online queue system, evaluated using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which includes perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, behavioral intention, and actual system utilization. The dependent variable is service quality, measured through SERVQUAL dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Data analysis consisted of univariate statistics, Chi-square testing for bivariate analysis, and logistic regression for multivariate analysis. Results: Most respondents were adults aged 18–59 years, male, and had completed secondary education. Bivariate analysis showed a significant association between online queue system effectiveness and perceived service quality (p < 0.05). In the multivariate model, perceived ease of use emerged as the only significant predictor of service quality (p < 0.05; OR = 1.874), indicating that patients who perceived the system as easier to use were more likely to report better service quality. Conclusion: The implementation of an online queue system contributes positively to service quality at Dustira Hospital. Greater ease in system usage is associated with better perceived service quality among patients.

Abstract

Unsafe behavior is widely recognized as the primary cause of workplace accidents. To encourage safe work practices, organizations must implement an effective safety management system that emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication, and genuine commitment to safety. This study aims to assess the influence of these three components, safety leadership, communication, and commitment on workers’ safety behavior. A cross-sectional design was employed, with data collected from 80 respondents at Platform A of PT. X through total sampling. The study used a structured questionnaire adapted from the 2024 Indonesia Oil and Gas Safety Management System Assessment Guidelines. The dependent variable was safety behavior. The independent variables included safety leadership, safety communication, and safety commitment. Data analysis involved univariate, bivariate (chi-square), and multivariate (binary logistic regression) techniques. Findings indicate that all three safety management components significantly impact workers’ safety behavior (p=0,0001). Among them, safety leadership emerged as the most influential factor (PR=12,701). Based on these results, it is recommended that PT. X strengthen its safety leadership practices through more proactive, consistent, and visible engagement by leaders in the field.

Abstract

The oil and gas industry is characterized by capital intensity, advanced technology, and a high level of occupational risk. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of Corporate Life Saving Rules (CLSR) training in improving workers’ knowledge at an oil and gas company located in Bojonegoro, East Java. A quasi-experimental design employing a non-equivalent pretest–posttest control group approach was utilized, involving 78 participants divided into an intervention group (39 individuals) and a control group (39 individuals). Statistical analyses were conducted using paired samples t-tests, independent samples t-tests, N-Gain analysis, and multiple linear regression. The findings revealed a significant increase in knowledge within the intervention group, with mean scores rising from 12.41 to 17.28 (p<0.05), while the control group exhibited no statistically meaningful change. Post-intervention comparisons demonstrated a significant difference between groups (p<0.05). The N-Gain value of 65.05% indicates that CLSR training achieved a moderately effective level of knowledge improvement. Categorically, all participants in the intervention group attained a “good” level of knowledge following the training. Regression analysis identified CLSR training as the primary determinant of knowledge enhancement, whereas age, educational background, and length of employment were not statistically significant predictors (p>0.05). In conclusion, CLSR training is empirically proven to be effective in significantly and consistently improving workers’ knowledge in high-risk industrial environments.
