In the world of education, performance satisfaction is an important factor that can affect the quality of education in terms of the quality of learning and development of students. This study at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Sultan Fatah Demak aims to determine the contribution of leadership and teamwork to the satisfaction of Islamic education performance. This study uses a qualitative method with observations on the leadership of the madrasah principal and conducting comprehensive interviews with the principal and teachers. The results of the study indicate that there is a contribution related to leadership and teamwork to the satisfaction of performance in Islamic education at MI Sultan Fatah. However, in carrying out tasks in teamwork, there are some jobs that are not evenly distributed, making some teachers feel heavier, so that evaluation and discussion are needed regarding the distribution of tasks evenly so that the performance given by the teacher can be optimal.

Abstract

Interest in learning is still a classic problem teachers face in the learning process. The learning environment is one of the school resources that has the potential to arouse students' interest in learning. This research aims to explore and investigate how the design of the physical environment of classrooms or study rooms at the Alam Nurul Islamic School (SANI) Jember can influence students' interests. The research focus was analyzed using the theories of Tomkins, Renninger, Hidi, and several other relevant theories. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, where data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and photography. Data analysis uses the theories of Milles, Huberman, and Saldana with three steps, namely data condensation, data presentation, and verification. The SANI learning environment is managed with the nature-based school concept by utilizing and optimizing the characteristics of the school environment, such as context, content, and learning processes. In this research, strategies, and interventions in the planning and substance of natural environment-based space management by creating a natural learning environment infrastructure can increase students' motivation, attention, and learning experience and potentially increase student interest and engagement.

Abstract

The language diversity in Indonesia raises the phenomenon of language interference as occurs in Sundanese Banten students when speaking English as a global language. However, as language learning is never neutral, the process is oft-shaped by power relations and ideologies, while the result is often valued based on the linguistic meritocracy. Therefore, as related to the Sundanese Banten dialect, this study aims: (1) to identify the types of dialectal interference that occur when Sundanese-Banten EFL learners speak English, and (2) to explore the system of values that emerges from linguistic meritocracy in relation to their pronunciation, as shaped by global society views. While using a qualitative method to find and analyze the dialectical interference; the Bourdieu theory, language accent as a symbolic power through linguistic meritocracy, is also used to explore the intersection between the language pronunciation reality, the linguistic meritocracy in it, and the societal system of value. After going through a series of analyses, there are seven primary interferences that internalized into the Sundanese Banten dialect, they are Lenition, Fornition, Syncope, Apocope, Epenthesis, and Prague as several intermittent letters were found such as [ð] changed to [d], [ʤ] to [g], [v] to [f], [z] to [s], and [r]. These interferences, while linguistically common, are socially charged; they reflect how systems of linguistic value classify learners according to perceived intelligence and cultural capital. In this sense, pronunciation becomes not merely a linguistic feature but a marker of social legitimacy and symbolic capital within the ideology of linguistic meritocracy.
