Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelestarian kerajinan tangan yang terbuat dari dari bambu dan ragam seni budaya yang ada di Desa Tanjung Menang. Budaya yang masih dilestarikan sampai saat ini bisa dikembangkan dan kenal oleh masyarakat luas. Masyarakat memanfaaatkan Sumber Daya Alam yang ada dengan baik. 1) Subyek penelitian ini adalah Kelompok Wanita Tani Bunga Tanjung Desa Tanjung Menang dan Lembaga Adat Desa Tanjung Menang. 2) Data dikumpulkan dengan tahap observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi langsung. 3) Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah pelestarian dan pengembangan kerajinan anyaman bambu, berbagai hasil kerajinan anyaman bambu, pelestarian budaya lelang ayam, budaya tunangan cilik dan budaya gaple atau domino bujang gadis Desa Tanjung Menang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population is the employees of PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara of the Palembang Branch Office. The sampling technique used is probability sampling. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and observations. Data analysis techniques are used for multiple linear regression, the coefficient of determination. The results showed that there was a simultaneous influence on the variables of work discipline and motivation on employee performance. Work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance. Motivation has a positive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an entrepreneurship teaching module utilizing a Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance the learning process at the Politeknik Pelayaran Sumatera Barat. The module was designed using the ADDIE model, encompassing analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. The research involved 72 students from the Marine Transportation program in the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Material and media experts conducted validation using observation sheets and questionnaires. The findings indicated that the LMS-based module achieved excellent validity, with an average expert validation score of 91.2%.Furthermore, students' responses regarding usability, ease of use, and user satisfaction were categorized as "very good," with an average score of 89.7%. The module enhanced learning flexibility and student engagement through interactive and relevant content like e-business planning and business feasibility studies. This module is expected to improve the quality of entrepreneurship education and better prepare students to face the challenges of the business world. Future research could explore integrating AI and AR technologies to enrich the learning experience and conduct longitudinal evaluations to assess its impact on learning outcomes and skill development.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the use of the Extraordinary Computer-Based Test (CBT) application in assessing the HTML Programming course at the Politeknik Pelayaran Sumatera Barat. The method used is quantitative with a program evaluation design based on the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The subjects of the study consisted of 62 third-semester students from the eighth batch of 2024, divided into three classes. Data were collected through learning achievement tests, questionnaires, and practical assessment rubrics, focusing on the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The results of the study indicate that the CBT application is effective in improving students' learning outcomes. The average score for the cognitive aspect reached 83, with the highest scores in the structure and development of HTML applications. The affective evaluation showed positive student responses to CBT, with an affective aspect score of 82, while the psychomotor evaluation showed adequate practical skills with a score of 80. This study reveals that CBT enhances the effectiveness of assessments and enriches students' learning experiences by providing real-time feedback and more personalized guidance. The findings contribute to the development of technology-based learning tools and offer practical solutions to improve the quality of education. Furthermore, this study concludes that CBT can improve the quality of evaluation and learning in HTML programming and recommends further development to integrate other technologies into the learning process.

Abstract

Palaran is a sub-district in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province, with an area of approximately 221.29 km2. Palaran Sub-District is a place for various activities of residents and other areas around Samarinda City. These activities caused Palaran Sub-District to develop rapidly. The increasing need for housing is the cause of the conversion of green land as a vegetation area to other functions. Land conversion will increase along with population growth. The existence of vegetation in urban areas as green open space has many benefits, one of which is producing clean air. Apart from being an important element, vegetation also ensures that the ecosystem is not disturbed. The aim of this research is to determine changes in Vegetation Density in Palaran Sub-District and to determine the extent of changes in Vegetation Density in Palaran Sub-District. The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) method is used to analyze changes in vegetation density by utilizing Sentinel-2 imagery data recorded in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The results of the research are maps of changes in vegetation density and the magnitude of changes that occurred in Palaran Sub-District in 2019, 2020, 2021. Changes in density of high, medium, low, very low and non-vegetated vegetation from 2019 to 2021 respectively covering an area of 925.76 Ha, -160.52 Ha, -270.24 Ha, -654. 20 Ha, and 159.20 Ha. There was an increase in the density of high and unvegetated vegetation, as well as a decrease in the density of medium, low and very low vegetation. It is hoped that this information can be used as supporting data in efforts to control land conversion to maintain spatial planning and carrying capacity that is beneficial to the community.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effects of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance at PT Yala Kharisma Shipping Cabang Palembang. Data of 40 respondents were collected through observation and questionnaires. This study deployed multiple linear regression to analyze the data. The results evince that partially, each variable of work discipline and work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. Likewise, simultaneously work discipline and work motivation has a significant effect on employee performance. This findings are benfifial for PT Yala Kharisma Shipping Palembang Branch. To improve employee performance, the company must pay attention to the factors of discipline and work motivation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan PT.Yala Kharisma Shipping Cabang Palembang. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan kuesioner dengan responden akhir berjumlah 40 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda untuk menganalisis data. Hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa secara parsial, disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja masing-masing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Sama halnya, secara simultan disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi PT Yala Kharisma Shipping Cabang Palembang, di mana untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan maka perusahaan harus memperhatikan faktor disiplin dan motivasi kerja. Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effects of safety and health of employees on work productivity of employees at the warehouse of PT Muara Dua Palembang. Data of 65 respondents were collected through a questionnaire. This study applied the multiple linear regression to analyze the data. The findings unveil that partially work safety has a significant and negative effect on employees' work productivity. Additionally, employees' occupational health has a significant and positive effect on work productivity. Simultaneously, occupational safety and health have a significant and positive effect on employees' productivity. This empirical evidence can provide benefits for PT Muara Dua Palembang. To increase employees' productivity, the leader of the company should optimize the safety and health factors of employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the work environment on employee performance at PT Cahaya Petro Energi Palembang. This study utilized quantitative research methods, in this study involved as many as 35 employees at PT Cahaya Petro Energi Palembang, the source of data obtained through primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques utilized questionnaire. The data analysis technique utilized a Likert scale, and data was analyzed by simple linear regression. Based on the data obtained after reprocessing, the results of research on the effect of the work environment on employee performance at PT Cahaya Petro Energi Palembang, conclusions can be depicted. The results of the t-test show that the work environment variable has a value of t count (6.852) > t table (2.034). That means that the work environment has a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.587 indicates the magnitude of the contribution of the work environment to employee performance is 58.7%, and the remaining 41.3% was affected by other variables not included in this study. This study is expected to provide benefit for PT Cahaya Petro Energi Palembang.

Abstract

Climate change is a major challenge that affects ecosystem resilience and human life, including in Indonesia, especially in North Morowali Regency which has extensive tropical forests. This study aims to assess the contribution of ecosystem services in climate regulation in the region and analyze how climate change interacts with ecosystem performance. The methodology used involves assessing ecosystem services for climate regulation and changes in forest land cover. The study's results indicated that forest dominance significantly aided climate regulation, with conservation forest areas contributing 21.51%, protected forests 20.68%, and production forests 19.52%, particularly in carbon sequestration and climate change mitigation. In contrast, non-forest areas showed a lower contribution. Regional resilience to climate change, it is recommended that the management of conservation and protected forests be strengthened, by considering the potential of ecosystem services they have in mitigating and adapting to climate change.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal masa pandemi Covid-19 inovasi pembelajaran yang diterapkan adalah pembelajaran jarak jauh melalui daring Whatapps Grup, Zoom Meeting dan Google Class Room. Berdasarkan hal tersebut terkait belum adanya modul aplikatif berbasis Android pada kuliah Teknologi Informatika, sehingga perlu dilakukan pengembangan modul pembelajaran agar membantu belajar mandiri yang terstruktur, sistemetis dan praktis. Tujuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan media pembelajaran yang lebih baik dalam memahami, mengerjakan dan menyimpulkan materi mata kuliah Teknologi Informatika. Pengembangan media pembelajaran tersebut akan diuji cobakan, diterapkan dan dievaluasi agar mendapatkan hasil yang kreatif dan inovatif dengan luaran penelitian yang ditargetkan adalah jurnal lokal.
