Abstract

Based on the PISA data in 2018, shows that the science literacy of students in Indonesia is still considered low. One of the causes is the choice of teaching materials that are not contextual and do not facilitate students in developing their literacy skills. Go-labs is a media learning platform based on Inquiry (Inquiry Learning Space), where its use can help students improve their science literacy skills. The purpose of this research is to find out more about the effect of inquiry-based learning models and the use of learning media on improving science literacy in students. The method used is a literature study in the form of scholarly articles indexed on Google Scholar. The results of the literature study show that the use of inquiry-based learning models has been scientifically proven to improve science literacy skills in students. The same goes for the use of Go-Labs as a learning media with Inquiry Learning Space features. Therefore, the use of Go-Labs can be used as one of the learning media options to improve science literacy in students.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepraktisan dan keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran model kausalitik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif momentum dan impuls peserta didik. Analisis kepraktisan dan keefektifan Perangkat pembelajaran model kausalitik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif momentum dan impuls peserta didik yang dikembangkan terdiri dari silabus, RPP, LKPD, tugas pendahuluan, dan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif (KBK). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui validasi dengan menggunakan instrument peneltian berupa angket respon peserta didik, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, serta uji coba terbatas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Narmada mulai pada tangal 7 oktober smpai tanggal 24 Oktober 2020. Hasil respon dari peserta didik memperoleh nilai > 80% dengan kriteria baik, dan rerata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran untuk tiga kali pertemuan yaitu 3,6 dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil perhitungan N-gain kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik yaitu 0,43 yang tergolong kriteria sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model kausalitik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif momentum dan impuls peserta didik dapat dikatakanuntuk  praktis dan efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci: perangkat pembelajaran; model pembelajaran kausalitik; praktis dan efektif  ABSTRACTThis research aims to determine the practicality and effectiveness of the causal learning model as a tool to improve creative thinking skills in students regarding momentum and impulse. The analysis of the practicality and effectiveness of the causal learning model tool was developed including syllabus, lesson plans, introductory tasks, and a creative thinking ability (KBK) test instrument. Data was collected through validation using student response questionnaires, observation sheets of the implementation of learning, and limited testing. The research was conducted at SMAN 1 Narmada from October 7 to October 24, 2020. The response from students received a score of >80% with the criteria of being good, and the average implementation of learning for three meetings was 3.6 with the criteria of being very good. The N-Gain calculation result of the students' creative thinking ability was 0.43, which is considered to be average. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the causal learning model tool for improving creative thinking skills in students regarding momentum and impulse is practical and effective to use in learning. Keywords: learning tool; causal learning model; practical and effective

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan instrumen kemampuan berpikir kreatif  dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kausalitik untuk mrngukur tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif momentum dan impuls peserta didik. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development), dengan desain menggunakan model 4D. Prosedur penelitian yang dilakukan dalam mengacu pada langkah-langkah pengembangan model 4D yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Namun pada penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai pada tahap develop. Perangkat pembelajaran model kausalitik untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif momentum dan impuls peserta didik berupa instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif (KBK). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui validasi perangkat pembelajaran oleh validator. Hasil validasi instrument kemampuan berpikir kreatif  mencapai rata-rata nilai validitas 88,02% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai realibilatasnya adalah 92.04%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen kemampuan berpikir kreatif model kausalitik untuk mengukur tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif momentum dan impuls peserta didik layak dalam pembelajaran Kata kunci: model pembelajaran kausalitik; kemampuan berpikir kreatif; momentum dan impuls ABSTRACTThis research aims to determine the feasibility of the creative thinking ability instrument using a causality learning model to measure students' level of momentum and impulse creative thinking ability. This type of research is a research and development study using a 4D model design. The research followed the 4D development model steps, which are defined, designed, develop, and disseminated, but only until this research's development stage. The causality learning model tool to measure students' level of momentum and impulse creative thinking ability is an innovative thinking ability test (KBK) instrument. Data was collected through the validation of the learning tool by a validator. The results of the creative thinking ability instrument validation showed an average validity score of 88.02% with the criteria being very valid. Meanwhile, the average reliability score was 92.04%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the causality learning model instrument to measure students' momentum and impulse creative thinking ability is feasible in learning. Keywords: causality learning model; creative thinking ability; momentum and impulse

Abstract

Despite its significance particularly when it comes to writing competence, numerous studies have revealed that grammar is still considered complicated to grasp and used by students. The purpose of this study was to determine how video-based instruction affects students' understanding of grammar in writing assignments. This sequential explanatory mixed-method study aimed to investigate how students' grammatical skills especially in degree of comparison might be improved. Quantitative evaluations such as creating written test materials for the students and qualitative interviews with both teachers and students were employed. The findings showed that students' comprehension of grammatical rules for statistical tests had improved. Descriptive data evidenced that the students were clearly excited, enthralled, and actively involved with the tactics; served as a scaffold to lower obstacles; enhanced language learners' understanding; and increased students' vocabulary. Both quantitative and qualitative approaches evidenced the significance of implementing English videos to promote students’ grammatical competence in writing skills. The study's implications and suggestions are discussed.
