Abstract

Apple tomatoes with the scientific name Lycopersicum Pyriporme can last 7 days at room temperature and 14 days if stored in the refrigerator. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the ELF magnetic field intensity 600 uT and 1000 uT for 30, 60 and 90 minutes on the degree of acidity (pH), density (ρ) and physical quality of apple tomatoes. The research design used was RAL (completely randomized design). Data collection on the pH variable begins with crushing the tomatoes and then measuring the pH value of each fruit using a digital pH meter. The density variable was obtained by weighing the mass of each fruit and dipping the fruit in 150 ml of distilled water as the initial volume, then the difference between the final volume and the initial volume was obtained to obtain the final density of each fruit using the density equation. Physical condition variables can be obtained by counting the number of good fruits and recording each measurement. Observations were made for 20 days with data collection on the 0, 4th, 8th, 16th, and 20th days. The results showed that there were differences in the value of pH, density and physical quality of tomatoes between the control group and the experimental group. Exposure to the ELF magnetic field can affect the activity and reproduction of pathogenic microorganisms in apple tomatoes so as to maintain the pH value, density and physical quality of apple tomatoes.

Abstract

Fisika merupakan ilmu yang dapat dijumpai pada kehidupan baik fenomena kehidupan dan kejadian alam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis konsep gaya gesek antara sepatu dengan jalan raya saat melakukan gerak jalan tradisional di Banyuwangi. Jenis penelitian yang dipilih adalah secara kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi. Adapun alur penelitiannya yaitu persiapan, analisis isi (unitizing, sampling, coding, reducing, infering, dan narrating), dan kesimpulan. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya gaya gesek antara jalan raya dengan sepatu pada saat gerak jalan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat gaya gesek antara sepatu dengan jalan raya, dimana gaya gesek berlawanan dengan jalannya kaki (kedepan)  pada saat gerak jalan. Dapat diketahui bahwa gaya gesek terjadi pada benda yang memiliki permukaan halus maupun kasar. Gaya gesek akan semakin kecil jika permukaan benda semakin halus. Begitu juga sebaliknya, semakin kasar permukaan benda maka gaya gesek semakin besar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya konsep gaya gesek pada Gerak Jalan Tradisional Banyuwangi.

Abstract

Globalisasi adalah suatu proses dimana  perubahan tatanan sosial di masyarakat terjadi di seluruh dunia dan tidak  mengenal adanya batas waktu, pesatnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi menjadi bukti dari globalisasi. Pesatnya perkembangan tersebut juga dipengaruhi oleh pendidikan, yang mana pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar dan terencana untuk menciptakan suasana belajar dan belajar agar peserta didik secara aktif mengembangkan potensi dirinya untuk memiliki kekuatan spiritual keagamaan, pengendalian diri, kepribadian, kecerdasan, akhlak mulia dan keterampilan. Tujuan kegiatan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji efektivitas Penggunaan Aplikasi Canva Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Literasi Sains Pada Pokok Bahasan Materi Massa Jenis kepada siswa sekolah menengah pertama. Dasar metode penelitian ini adalah metode service learning (SL). Hasil kegiatan penelitian ini menyatakan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar literasi sains sebelum dan sesudah adanya perlakuan, rata-rata hasil belajar literasi sesudah perlakuan lebih tinggi dibandingkan sebelum diberi perlakuan. Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 , 0,05, maka dapat dijelaskan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari sebelum diberi perlakuan (pretest) dan setelah diberi perlakuan (Postest). Nilai rata-rata N-gain Score 0,7940 > 0,7 artinya kategori yang diperoleh adalah tingkat efektivitasnya tinggi. Sedangkan nuntuk nilai N-gain diperoleh nilai sebesar 79,40% sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa Penggunaan Aplikasi Canva Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Literasi Sains Pada Pokok Bahasan Materi Massa Jenis efektif.

Abstract

Guru merupakan unsur penting sebagai pelaku dalam proses pendidikan untuk membentuk generasi muda berilmu dan berkarakter berdasarkan Pancasila. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan guru profesional yang salah satunya memiliki kompetensi merancang dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran. Implementasi kompetensi ini secara utuh dapat diwujudkan dalam bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Namun, masih banyak guru yang belum terampil dalam proses penyusunan laporan hasil penelitian tindakan kelas. Kegiatan ini merupakan evaluasi hasil pelatihan penyusunan laporan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas kepada Guru SMA pada bulan Mei 2023. Kegiatan ini di ikuti oleh 25 orang Guru SMAN 1 Giri Jawa Timur. Tahapan pelatihan yang telah di lakukan meliputi: 1) persiapan, yaitu mendata peserta dengan syarat telah melaksanakan kegiatan penelitian tindakan kelas, 2) melaksanakan pelatihan secara daring setiap hari sabtu selama 4 kali pertemuan (@ 4 jam), 3) pendampingan praktek menyusun laporan PTK secara daring setiap hari minggu selama 4 kali (@ 4 jam), 4) evaluasi di lakukan melalui presentasi-diskusi hasil produk laporan PTK selama 4 kali (@ 2 jam). Sebagai indikator keterampilan menyusun laporan PTK didasarkan pada struktur yang meliputi: pendahuluan, kajian pustaka, metode penelitian, hasil dan pembahasan, kesimpulan dan saran, daftar pustaka, lampiran, dan kesesuaian format laporan. Hasil evaluasi membuktikan bahwa secara umum peserta mampu menyusun laporan PTK, namun tampak bahwa kelemahan tertinggi terdapat pada kemampuan dalan menyusun kalimat ilmiah khususnya pada latar belakang dan pembahasan.

Abstract

Lagrange mechanics is an analytical method in classical mechanics that does not consider forces acting on the system. It focuses instead on kinetic and potential energies as the core of the entire system. The primary goal of this study is to derive the equations of motion for the coupled pendulums connected by a spring system using Lagrange equation. Two identical pendulums, each positioned at the end of its respective lengths, were connected by a spring. Formulating the Lagrangian for this system enabled the derivation of the equation of motion through the Lagrange equation. These equations were graphically represented with predefined initial conditions. The results revealed a recurring pattern: as amplitude of the first pendulum increased, the amplitude of the second pendulum decreased and vice versa. This phenomenon occurs due to the exchange of energy between the two pendulums, where one loses energy while the other gains it.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the design of LKPD from the analysis of the physics concepts of temperature and heat in the process of making cotton candy. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The stages in this research are: identification, instrument making, data analysis, and preparation of research results. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the stages: unitizing, sampling, recording, reducing, inferring, and narrating. The results of this study indicate that the process of making cotton candy is one of the applications of physics concepts that fulfill the subject matter of temperature and heat. this is evidenced by the results of observations of the process of making cotton candy which is then coupled with temperature measurements and mathematical calculations of heat. so that the results of this study can be applied to LKPD which helps make it easier for students to understand the concepts of temperature and heat. The difficulty of students in understanding the concepts of temperature and heat often occurs because of the inappropriate learning approach used by the teacher. with the LKPD as an implementation of research on the analysis of the physics concepts of temperature and heat in the process of making cotton candy is expected to help make it easier for students to understand the concepts of temperature and heat.

Abstract

Computational thinking is one of the abilities needed in the 21st century. One of the subjects that requires this ability is physics. One material that is considered difficult is dynamic electrical circuits. The aim of this research is to measure students' computational thinking abilities in solving two-loop electrical circuit problems using Cramer's rules with the help of Microsoft Excel. This research method is included in qualitative descriptive research with a research sample of 10 class XII students at a high school in Banyuwangi. The data collection technique is in the form of student test results in the form of essay questions or descriptions where each question refers to an indicator of computational thinking. The research results showed that 6 people were in the good category for problem decomposition indicators, 8 people were pattern recognition indicators, 7 people were indicators of algorithmic thinking, and 6 people were indicators of abstraction and generalization

Abstract

Physics learning provides a context for future careers in fostering ability in high-end logic with the 21st learning goals. Applying computational thinking in schools is challenging and requires systemic transformation and teacher attention. This study aims to investigate the computational thinking of students in physics learning. This study used exploratory qualitative research. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, and portfolio documents. The data are analyzed through six stages: preparing and organizing, exploring, building descriptions, representing the findings, interpreting the results, and validating the accuracy. The result indicated four primary computational thinking skills: decomposition, abstraction, simulation, and evaluation. The computational thinking skills in physics learning can develop students’ understanding and implementation of physics concepts based on data, not just mathematical formulas. Computational thinking in physics learning gives students the opportunity and space to explore and develop their ideas and logical reasoning more deeply in problem-defining, solutions, and evaluation. Students use their logical reasoning to solve the problem precisely. This study is expected to be used as a basis and support for physics teachers to integrate computational thinking into their learning classroom.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memanfaatkan laboratorium virtual Physic Education and Technology (PhET) simulation sebagai media pembelajaran sebagai salah satu solusi inovatif yang dapat dilakukan dalam upaya  meningkatkan pemahaman konsep fisika mahasiswa. PhET menyediakan simulasi virtual interaktif yang dapat digunakan secara daring maupun luring, sehingga cocok untuk lingkungan dengan keterbatasan akses internet dan juga keterbatasan infrastruktur seperti fasilitas laboratorium. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen berbentuk one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Program studi Pendidikan IPA Tahun Ajaran 2024/2025  sebanyak 14 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dua kali yaitu sebelum melakukan treatment (pretest) dan sesudah melakukan treatment (posttest), kemudian untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep fisika mahasiswa dilakukan uji N-gain. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa memperoleh kriteria tinggi dengan skor N-gain sebesar 0,732. Oleh karena itu hasil studi menyatakan bahwa penggunaan laboratorium virtual PhET simulation sebagai media pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep fisika mahasiswa.

Abstract

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, people are required to have skills, knowledge, and abilities in various fields. Therefore, integrating 21st-century skills into the learning process is very important. Learning should emphasise critical thinking, creativity and innovation, collaboration, and communication. One method that can be used to enhance 21st-century skills is STEM learning based on the engineering design process. This community service activity was carried out over three months and was divided into four phases: the preparation phase, the planning phase, the implementation phase, and the evaluation phase. The results of the activity show that the majority of teachers at SMK Darul Muqomah have a good understanding of STEM learning based on the engineering design process. Overall, this training has been well executed. The participants stated that the training was beneficial and could expand their understanding of STEM learning based on the engineering design process. Specifically, this training provided an overview of the application of the STEM approach in school learning. All participants showed interest and willingness to implement STEM learning in their classes. However, it is important to note the challenges or obstacles in implementing the STEM approach in the classroom.
