Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan dan pengaruh adanya matakuliah matematika islam terhadap sikap matematis mahasiswa. Matematika islam sebagai salah satu upaya penguatan literasi matematika. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap beberapa mahasiswa semester lima yang menempuh matakuliah matematika islam sebagai matakuliah pilihan. Analisis data menggunakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan dua kelompok eksperimen. Data diperoleh dengan lakukan observasi dan pemberian angket kepada mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan matakuliah matematika islam terhadap sikap matematis mahasiswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan sikap matematis antara mahasiswa yang menempuh dengan yang tidak menempuh matakuliah matematika islam.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence academic achievement and student study period. The method used in this research is ex-post facto qualitative research, with a comparative model that compares several similar variables. The sample involved was 398 students from five State Islamic Universities in Central Java. Samples were selected using the random sampling method. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and multiple linear regression. The results showed that: (a) Only two of the six factors had a significant effect on student achievement, that was gender and the new student’s admission way. (b) There were four of the seven factors that significantly affected the study period, that was gender, type of high school, GPA, and PMB wayway. (c) There was a significant difference in student achievement in terms of the new student’s admission way. The highest academic achievement (GPA) was achieved by students who are accepted through the National Academic Achievement Selection Wayway of State Islamic Religious Colleges with an average of 3.61. d) There was a significant difference in the study period in terms of the wayway for new students. The fastest study period was reached by students who were accepted through the State Islamic Religious College Entrance Examination way with an average of 8.5 semesters. (e) There was a very significant negative correlation (sig. = 0,000) between the GPA and the study period, which means that the higher the student GPA, the faster the study period.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan program pemberdayaan masyarakat bertema penguatan pembelajaran matematika geometri di SD/MI Berbasis MBNK (Matematika Berwawasan Nasionalisme dan Kemandirian mencakup empat kegiatan, yaitu: Pertama, Pengenalan dan sosialisasi aplikasi geometri MBNK, Kedua, Pembahasan materi geometrid an soal-soal geometri MBNK, Ketiga, Pengembangan LKS Geometri MBNK, dan Keempat, Pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi geogebra . Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah: ceramah, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, tanya jawab, dan penugasan. Program berlangsung selama empat kali tatap muka secara bertahap dan berkelanjutan. Peserta yang mengikuti program sebanyak 40 guru SD dan MI di Kabupaten Pekalongan. Program pemberdayaan peningkatan kapasitas guru ini berdampak positif kepada guru SD/MI di Kabupaten Pekalongan. Sebelum diadakan kegiatan workshop, guru merasa kewalahan dan jenuh dalam pembelajaran daring selama masa pandemi. Guru belum mahir dalam menggunakan aplikasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Setelah diadakan kegiatan dan diadakan evaluasi, guru menjadi lebih bersemangat dalam pembelajaran daring. Kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi pemebalajran matematika salah satunya geogebra menjadi meningkat.

Abstract

Mathematics is an important field of study that is taught at various levels, one of them is college. To become a Bachelor of Mathematics Education, one of students' mathematics skills can be seen in the ability to solve problems. This study aimed to find out the error of Mathematics Education students in solving Differential Equation problems based on Watson's criteria, and find out the factors causing the error to occur. This research is important to do to find out the errors in solving Differential Equation problems and the factors causing the error to occur. The research design and approach of this research was Descriptive Qualitative. Data was obtained through written test instruments, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used to analyze student error was based on Watson's 8 criteria, while the research data analysis were data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion. The results found that the percentageof inappropiate data (28.11%), inappropiate procedure (24.32%), omitted data (27.57%%), omitted conclusion (84.86%), response level conflict(2.16%%), undirected manipulation (4.86%), skill hierarchy problems (6.49%), and above others (64.32%). The percentage of error that occurred in 37 students from all questions based on Watson's 8 criteria was 30.34%. Factors that cause errors are: (1) internal factors,students do not fully remember the material being tested, they have not mastered the material tested properly and are not thorough when doing the test; (2) external factors, students do not focus when doing the test, work together with friends, and incomplete notes.Keywords: Error Analysis, Cause Factors, Watson Categories, Differential Equations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning bernuansa etnomatematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi aritmetika sosial. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan 4D (Four-D) yang termodifikasi dengan menggunakan tiga tahap saja, yaitu: 1) tahap pendefinisian (define); 2) tahap perancangan (design), dan; 3) tahap pengembangan (develop). Kuesioner digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data serta analisis data menggunakan deskriptif secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor kelayakan buku ajar dari ahli materi dan ahli praktisi masing-masing sebesar 95,90% dan 92,12% sehingga kriteria buku ajar sangat layak, skor keterbacaan dari pengguna sebesar 85,50% sehingga kriteria buku ajar mudah dipahami, dan skor respon siswa SMP sebesar 91,67% menunjukkan buku ajar mendapat respon yang sangat baik. Dengan demikian buku ajar berbasis Problem Based Learning bernuansa etnomatematika sangat layak untuk diimplementasikan dalam kelas sasaran

Abstract

Mathematics is a discipline that can improve thinking skills. However, in reality, the mathematics thinking skills of elementary school students are still low. This is because the mathematics learning used is not optimal and still uses conventional learning. In the process of mathematics learning, there is an integration of character values with mathematics material. Character building through mathematics learning has not been done relatively. The current mathematical concept can be related to cultural activities called ethnomathematics. Through ethnomathematics, mathematics learning becomes more realistic. The purpose of this research is to build students’ character and improve student’s mathematic learning achievement through developing student worksheets with a mathematical approach based on ethnomathematics. The methods of the research were research and development by using steps including preliminary study, design, development, and dissemination. The result of the research is student's worksheets fulfill valid, practical, and effective criteria. The result of the validity of teaching media shows that the average number is 96 % with very good criteria. The effectiveness test shows that there is a distinction of student’s achievement before and after the treatment and the student’s achievement on average is increased. Based on the analysis of student's answers on student worksheets, four characters are built through the learning process with a realistic mathematic approach based on ethnomathematics, such as creativity, independence, curiosity, and nationality. Abstract

This study aims to analyze whether the application of the Project Based Learning model in the Independent Curriculum is effective on the mathematical critical thinking ability of SMP Negeri 1 Karangdadap students.  This type of research is Equivalent Control Group Design. The data collection techniques are tests, observations, and documents. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are early stage data analysis including normality test, homogeneity test and mean equation test, final stage data analysis includes normality test, homogeneity test, mean difference test (t-test), and N-Gain test. Based on the results of the assessment of teacher activities (researchers) got a score of 53 with a percentage of 83.3%, including the very good criteria. Posttest data stated that the average score of the experimental class) was 86.6 (high category). Meanwhile, the results of the N-Gain test show that the experimental class has an average N-Gain score of 0.765 (high category) and a N-Gain Percent of 76.5% (very effective). These results show that Project Based Learning is effective on students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to produce valid and feasible geometry module development research integrated computational thinking assisted GeoGebra. This research uses a type of R&D research that contains three stages, namely (1) (define), (2) (design), and (3) (develop). The research subjects were students in Tadris Matematika FTIK IAIN Pekalongan. Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting observations, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis techniques used were analysis of the validity of teaching materials, analysis of test items, analysis of feasibility of the module, and analysis of the effectiveness of the module. The results showed that the developed module: (1) valid, after going through the validation process, (2) feasible, because there is a good response about the mathematics teaching materials integrated computational thinking assisted by GeoGebra from students and teachers, and (3) effective, by considering because students' mathematical abilities increase through a geometry module integrated computational thinking assisted by GeoGebra

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effect of implementing differentiated learning using the Open-Ended Problem Based Learning model on students' computational thinking abilities at the Batang State Tsanawiyah Madrasah. The research used mixed methods with a concurrent embedded model, which combines quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data was collected through computational thinking ability tests, interviews, and observations during the research period. The research results show a significant increase in students' computational thinking abilities after implementing differentiated learning. Quantitative data analysis shows significant differences between before and after learning, with visible improvements in aspects of computational thinking capabilities such as abstraction, algorithms, decomposition, and pattern recognition. These findings show that differentiated learning using the Open-Ended Problem Based Learning model can improve students' abilities in computational thinking and solving problems effectively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan Bahan Ajar Matematika dengan Model Challenge Based Learning Terintegrasi Etnomatematika Islam bagi siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Bahan ajar matematika yang dikembangakan adalah pada pokok bahasan bangun ruang. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika dengan Model Challenge Based Learning Terintegrasi Etnomatematika Islam bagi siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah. (2) Untuk menganalisis kelayakan bahan ajar matematika dengan Model Challenge Based Learning Terintegrasi Etnomatematika Islam bagi siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah yang dikembangkan. (3) Untuk mengetahui apakah bahan ajar matematika dengan Model Challenge Based Learning Terintegrasi Etnomatematika Islam dapat meningkatkan religiusitas dan hasil belajar siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang memuat tiga tahap, yaitu (1) pendefinisian (define), (2) perancangan (design), dan (3) pengembangan (develop). Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah YMI Wonopringgo. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara melakukan observasi, angket, dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis kevalidan bahan ajar dan analisis data kepraktisan bahan ajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan: (1) valid, setelah melalui proses validasi, (2) praktis, karena adanya respon yang baik mengenai Bahan ajar matematika dengan Model Challenge Based Learning Terintegrasi Etnomatematika Islam dari siswa, dan (3) Bahan ajar matematika dengan Model Challenge Based Learning Terintegrasi Etnomatematika Islam dapat meningkatkan religiusitas dan hasil belajar siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah.
