Abstract

Meulaboh Busines area on Jalan H. Daut Dariah II is a busy area with trade activities, especially during rush hour. Parking activities around the Meulaboh market especially on Jalan H. Daud Dariah I is so high that the shoulders and road bodies are filled with parking cars, motorcycles, tricycles, and street vendors. In addition, the pedestrians cross the road and the number of motor vehicles coming in and out of the center of the market as well as the slow moving vehicles like bicycles, tricycles and carts. This causes the road width to be less effective so that the speed of traffic becomes low and there is traffic congestion. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of side barriers on the speed and flow of lalulitas and the factors that predominantly influence side obstacles are in and out vehicles, parking vehicles and street vendors. Side obstacle data, speed and traffic volume was taken directly by conducting survey for 7 days and analyzed by using Manual of Capacity of Road Indonesia 1997. From result of calculation hence side barrier influence highest happened at period time clock 09.00 - 10.00 this is caused by the number of vehicle The parking and the vehicles going in and out, at this condition the speed of the vehicle decreased to 20.62 km / h for two-wheeled vehicles or tricycles and for the speed of four-wheeled vehicles of 15.82 km / h with traffic flow of 274.64 smp / hour. To increase the speed and traffic flow on the road H. Daud Dariah I then need to be provided in the parking lot so that vehicles are no longer parked on the road and pedangang pedestrians should sell at places that have been provided by the government. Keywords : obstracle, speed, traffic flow

Abstract

The application of warm mix asphalt technology to reduce mixing and compaction temperatures has a weakness in decreasing the performance of mixture and is more sensitive to high temperatures. This is influenced by the type of additives and the warm mix asphalt technology used. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum percentage of Rediset®LQ used and the amount of temperature drop in the type of Pen 60/70 asphalt mixture. Determination of the percentage of optimum use of the Rediset®LQ was carried out by using mixed workability analysis. The results of the warm mix asphalt test are then compared with the control HMA, the volumetric value that is close to the control HMA is considered to have equivalent workability. The variation of the use of the Rediset®LQ is 0.25% to 0.75% with a variation of the mixture temperature reduction of 15 ºC, 30 ºC, and 45 ºC. The results showed that the optimum percentage of using Rediset®LQ on asphalt pen 60/70 was 0.5% with a large reduction in mixing temperature and optimum compaction of 30 ºC. Evaluation of the resilient modulus value of the WMA mixture is equivalent to the HMA mixture at low, medium, and high temperatures. Based on the analysis, the Warm Mix Asphalt Concrete Binder Course with Rediset®LQ additive, also lower mixing and compaction temperature, is suitable for use on pavement layers.

Abstract

Dalam perencanaan program peningkatan jalan desa Lhokbot, untuk memperlancar transportasi di desa lhok buya-lhok bot, maka aktivitas pembangunan jalan perlu di lakukan. Untuk mendukung perencanaan salah satu pekerjaan pembangunan yaitu peningkatan jalan pada desa Lhokbot. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memastikan kepadatan lapangan. dengan menggunakan sand cone. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode AASHTO T-191,untuk pengujian sand cone dilakukan di lima titik berbeda yaitu pada titik STA 0+005 ,STA 0+100,STA 0+200,STA 0+300,STA 0+400, kepadatan yang disetujui adalah 106,9% dan kerapatan kering maksimum tanah, atau kerapatan kering, diperoleh melalui pengujian ini, yang setara dengan 2.346 %, nilai Optimum Moisture (OMC) merupakan 6,3%,dan juga kadar air pada pemadatan ini dilakukan dengan alat speedy moisture content rata rata didapatkan dengan nilai sebesar 4.74 %.

Abstract

The terminal is one of the components of the transportation system that  has the main function as a temporary stop for public vehicles to raise and distribute passengers and goods to the final destination of a trip, as well as a place to monitor, control, regulate, and operate the passenger and goods transportation flow system, besides that it also serves to facilitate the flow of transportation or goods.  The existence of the terminal in Ujong Fatihah that has been built by the government does not seem to be well used, and it does not look like it.  In the information obtained, this terminal is not used because there is no handover between the provincial government and the local government. This study aims to examine the causes of damage to the Ujong Fatihah terminal in Nagan Raya Regency using a descriptive method,  and examine the availability of Ujong Fatihah terminal facilities using  the weighting method. From the results  of  field  observations  and observations on the  Ujong Fatiha terminal facility, the causes of the malfunction of this terminal are: lack of availability of service facilities  such as safety, security, reliability, equality, comfort, and convenience.   The condition of the main  facilities and existing supporting facilities has been damaged.

Abstract

Teuku Umar University (UTU) is a public university located in West Aceh Regency. The number of active students at UTU was recorded as 6,636 in the academic year 2021-2022. Currently, the UTU campus lacks public transportation serving its vicinity. This study aims to identify the daily activities of UTU students in commuting to the campus and to determine the extent of students' response to the implementation of public transportation services within a ±5 KM buffer zone from the UTU campus. This research utilizes two types of data analysis methods, namely qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive. The research findings indicate that 93.5% of students strongly agree with the concept of implementing public transportation, and 75.3% of students agree to switch from private vehicles to public transportation. The majority of daily travel activities are conducted by female students, accounting for 54% compared to 46% of male students. The modes of transportation used to reach the campus are motorcycles (56%), bicycles (6%), and walking (38%). Regarding the frequency of departure times to the campus, 41% of students depart at 08:00 AM, 23% at 09:40 AM, 15% at 10:30 AM, 12% at 11:20 AM, 6% at 01:50 PM, and 3% depart at 04:20 PM. As for the frequency of return times, 16% return at 01:30 PM, 21% at 11:20 AM, 34% at 01:50 PM, 10% at 03:30 PM, 16% at 04:20 PM, and 3% return at 05:10 PM. Based on this study, we recommend developing a dedicated public transportation service concept for UTU students. Data on students' daily activities can serve as crucial input for the future development of public transportation projects.

Abstract

Hydroponics as an urban farming model is very meaningful to the community, including the Inkiya Farm business in Bajubodoa village, Maros district. There are several obstacles in the production of lettuce vegetables in hydroponics that are run so that they experience fluctuations, by natural disturbances causing plant damage and even crop failure (wilting or dying), limited space, drought resistance and less than optimal growth which is generally experienced because 100% using the NFT system. The implementation of Bell-Siphon on Ebb Flow system hydroponic technology is an alternative solution that is cheaper, environmentally friendly, space saving and more optimal plant production. The Bell-Siphon unit driving the tidal system is simply assembled, placed in a hydroponic container. This science and technology application activity results in additional knowledge for partners on how to build or assemble a Tidal System with Bell Siphon to increase the amount of production, reduce the risk of crop failure, and the potential for better production of lettuce plants. The activity resulted in at least 6 units of Ebb-Flow hydroponics in containers (tubs) with various media, installation and training for women members of the partners. Sustainability of implementation is expected at Partners as well as at the household scale in each member who has received training.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan proyeksi produksi dan konsumsi beras dalam tiga tahun terakhir serta implikasinya terhadap swasembada beras dan merumuskan strategi tepat yang harus diterapkan dalam rangka mencapai swasembada beras di Kabupaten Sambas. Analisis proyeksi produksi dan konsumsi beras di Kabupaten Sambas ini dihitung menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode study literature. Dimana informasi yang didapatkan dari kajian ilmiah oleh akademisi, informasi dari media sosial, buku pertanian, Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), dan instansi terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Kabupaten Sambas telah mencapai surplus beras selama tiga tahun terakhir yaitu Tahun 2021, 2022 dan 2023. Kabupaten Sambas pada tahun 2023 mengalami surplus 128.928 Ton atau 67,09 % dan bahkan telah mensupplay kebutuhan beras Kalimantan Barat sebanyak 40%. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ini terdapat strategi penguatan swasembada beras telah tepat diterapkan adalah strategi progresif, dengan berfokus pada kekuatan pertanian Kabupaten Sambas. Begitu pula dengan rumusan strategi seperti intensifikasi lahan, eksensifikasi lahan dan rehabilitasi lahan, serta diversifikasi pangan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and customer complaint handling systems on customers' intention to revisit Bolly Department Store in Dompu. The background of this research is based on the importance of effective service strategies in maintaining customer loyalty amid the increasingly competitive retail business environment. The research approach used is quantitative, employing a survey method. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to customers who had previously shopped at Bolly Department Store. The data collection technique used purposive sampling based on specific criteria, resulting in 98 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS version 4.0 software. The results of the study indicate that both service quality and customer complaint handling have a positive effect on customers’ intention to revisit Bolly Department Store in Dompu. These findings suggest that excellent service and the company’s responsiveness in handling complaints can create a pleasant shopping experience, enhance customer trust, and foster loyalty that leads to repeat visits.
