However, this study also notes challenges, such as maintaining the consistency of the ijtihad method and answering complex issues without sacrificing the basic principles of sharia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the balance of the money and goods markets from an Islamic economic perspective. The research method used is the study of literature from articles, papers, books, and other sources that support the problem under study. The results of this study indicate that Islamic economics states that when prices are fixed, income and interest, or the expected rate of profit, are at a level that balances the commodity market and the money market. The equilibrium level of income and welfare is at the intersection of the IS and LM curves, using the interest rate and the expected rate of return. In Islamic economics, a similar mechanism occurs in the economy that income and the anticipated rate of return lead to the equilibrium level. However, as previously mentioned, changes in income do not directly cause changes in the money market interest rate, which creates a balance between the demand for money and the money supply. Therefore, the interest rate on the interest income panel can only be determined by the IS curve without the LM curve. In other words, the interest rate always appears on the IS curve but can also occur outside the LM curve.

Abstract

The Zakat Aware Community Movement is an initiative to raise Muslims' awareness of the importance of zakat as a religious obligation and socio-economic instrument. The goal is to encourage people to pay zakat, both zakat mal and fitrah, correctly and on target to help the poor and reduce poverty and social inequality. Zakat not only has spiritual value, but also a strategic role in welfare distribution. Awareness of zakat is expected to counter consumptive behavior or hedonism, which in Islam is known as israf (excessive) and tabdzir (wasteful). The concept of “mâl” (wealth) in Islam is everything that can be legally owned and utilized, such as houses, money, gold, and others. Blessed wealth is wealth that is obtained lawfully, benefits others, and is used to get closer to Allah. Islam also pays great attention to poverty, which is described through the terms fakir and miskin. For this reason, zakat as the third pillar of Islam has a major role in overcoming it. For those who are reluctant to pay zakat, Islam recognizes the punishment of ta'zir - a punishment imposed by the ruler to safeguard the public interest. Finally, zakat that is paid consciously and sincerely can bring blessings to wealth, strengthen social solidarity, and strengthen the economic resilience of the people.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the mechanism of implementing payroll deductions for civil servants (ASN) in South Lampung in relation to zakat payment compliance in South Lampung Regency, as well as to determine whether the payroll deduction mechanism is in accordance with Islamic principles. This research employs a qualitative approach. The results of the study conclude that the implementation of payroll deductions, based on the circular letter from the Regent, has not had an impact on the zakat payment compliance of South Lampung ASN. Moreover, the payroll deduction mechanism does not yet align with the proper conditions for zakat payment. The payroll deduction for South Lampung ASN cannot be considered as genuine zakat, as not all civil servants in South Lampung receive a salary or allowance amounting to seven million rupiah, which is the threshold for professional zakat (zakat on income).

Abstract

Murabahah is a form of fund raising carried out by sharia banking, both productive (for business activities) and consumptive (for daily needs). Murabahah is the sale and purchase of goods at the original price (capital) with additional agreed profits that are not too burdensome for potential buyers. In a murabahah contract, the seller must disclose the basic price he purchased and determine a level of additional profit. In the murabahah financing product provided by BPR Syari'ah Bandar Lampung, the bank is the capital provider while the customer is the borrower for the purpose of purchasing halal goods, both consumption and investigation, where the bank takes a certain amount of profit (margin) on the cost price of the goods. The payment system is by installments or agreed installments. This type of research is field research. This research was carried out directly in the field using respondent data. The product in murabahah financing at BPR Syariah Bandar Lampung City is that the bank is the capital provider while the customer is the borrower. BPR Syariah Bandar Lampung City applies the maqashid sharia approach in its consumer financing. This can be seen from the consumptive financing provided which has a role and benefit in improving the welfare of members, namely by fulfilling members' dharuriyat and hajjiyat needs and being able to safeguard members' minds and assets.
