Abstract

Several studies on predicting customer switching focus on the telecommunications industry and online stores. This research aims to predict customer switching to get the best results; customers are the most critical mass; some companies must provide satisfying services so customer flow decreases. The support vector machine (SVM) method uses machine learning to find a hyperplane based on the SRM principle. A hyperplane is a decision boundary that helps classify data points. SVM stands out for its ability to take input data and make predictions based on its characteristics. This study uses data from Kaggle, structured it, cleaned it, identified patterns and inconsistencies (such as skewness, outliers, and missing values), and built and validated hypotheses. From the data processing, the plot shows the imbalance of data classes between churners and non-churners. This research applies several models where the most significant or best performance value is in the SVM model of 0.7996. The Neural Network model can be trained with better patterns to detect data and achieve high accuracy.

Abstract

It is important to understand public opinions, attitudes and sentiments in relation to presidential and vice presidential candidates in the context of Indonesia's general elections. The fact that quick count results have become a major topic of conversation on social media, especially on platforms such as Twitter, shows how important it is to monitor people's views on election results. However, tweets that are free-form and use digital language are often difficult for the unfamiliar to understand, which can lead to the spread of misinformation or inaccurate views. Sentiment analysis is therefore key in understanding people's views on election results. This research proposes the use of the Bidirectional Long Short Term-Memory (BiLSTM) method to analyse sentiment related to the quick count results of the 2024 presidential and vice presidential elections on X social media. This sentiment analysis aims to classify texts into positive, negative, or neutral categories. The purpose of this study is to measure the sentiment value and accuracy of the BiLSTM method in sentiment analysis of election results. Data was collected by scraping X social media using the keywords "quick count results of 2024 presidential election" and "results of 2024 presidential election", resulting in 1348 tweets. Preprocessing included cleaning, case folding, normalisation, tokenisation, stopword removal, and stemming. Sentiments were labelled using the Vader lexicon dictionary. BiLSTM modelling was performed by dividing the data into 70% for training and 30% for testing. The results showed that neutral sentiment had the highest percentage at 92.86%, followed by positive sentiment at 3.83% and negative at 3.31%. The BiLSTM model achieved an accuracy of 86.89% with an overall accuracy of 97%. The highest precision, recall, and F1-score values were found in the neutral class, at 98%, 99%, and 99% respectively. This research proves that BiLSTM is an effective method for sentiment analysis of complex texts such as election results.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Infeksi Kecacingan, Skrining, Parasitologi, Analis Kesehatan  ABSTRACT Worms are a parasitic infection that is still common in society but has received little attention. The most vulnerable age groups are toddlers and elementary school children. This disease is categorized as a neglected disease because it is chronic and the symptoms are not immediately visible. The long-term impacts include malnutrition, impaired growth and development, and decreased cognitive abilities. Worms can also cause anemia, fatigue, and decreased learning achievement. This disease is still widely found in Indonesia, especially the Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH) type such as roundworms, whipworms, pinworms, and tapeworms. This infection can reduce nutritional conditions, intelligence, and productivity, thus causing economic and social losses. Worms have an impact on decreasing hemoglobin and brain metabolism, resulting in decreased immunity and physical and mental disorders in children. Prevention can be done through the role of mothers in maintaining cleanliness and providing albendazole worm medicine as part of the national program according to PMK No. 15 of 2017. Promotional efforts and early detection are needed to prevent the long-term impacts of this infection on the quality of human resources. The target of the community service is 50 toddlers at the Griya Anugerah integrated health post. The method is by providing counseling on worms, prevention, and how to overcome worm infections in toddlers, providing counseling on worm infections and their risks, cutting toddlers' nails alternately, conducting early detection of worm infections using nails, and recording the results. Screening for worm infections in toddlers carried out at Posyandu Perum Griya Anugerah showed high enthusiasm from mothers, with many questions about the causes and prevention of worms. The results of the examination showed the presence of hookworm eggs and larvae on toddlers' nails, which are at risk of being swallowed due to the habit of playing in the soil and lack of hand hygiene. Prevention can be done through the habit of washing hands, cutting nails regularly, wearing footwear, and giving worm medicine periodically. Keywords: Worm Infection, Screening, Parasitology, Health Analyst.
