Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk analisis faktor-faktor pembentuk perilaku vandalisme taktis pada koleksi buku teks. Faktor-faktor pembentuk perilaku ini didasarkan pada Teori Perilaku Terencana yang dikemukakan oleh Icek Ajzen, yang terdiri dari: 1) Sikap terhadap perilaku; 2) Norma subyektif; 3) Persepsi kontrol perilaku. Vandalisme taktis disini meliputi: 1) Menandai kata dan kalimat; 2) Menggarisbawahi kata dan kalimat; 3) Mewarnai kata dan kalimat dengan tujuan mempermudah proses penelusuran informasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei eksplanatif yaitu untuk mengetahui ada maupun tidaknya hubungan atau sebab akibat antara dua variabel. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada 87 orang Mahasiswa Jenjang Sarjana Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas Padjadjaran angkatan 2015 dengan menggunakan teknik sampling acak sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sikap terhadap perilaku berhubungan signifikan dalam membentuk perilaku vandalisme taktis pada koleksi buku teks dengan kategori hubungan sedang. Norma subyektif berhubungan signifikan dalam membentuk perilaku vandalisme taktis pada koleksi buku teks dengan kategori hubungan sedang. Persepsi kontrol perilaku berhubungan signifikan dalam membentuk perilaku vandalisme taktis pada koleksi buku teks dengan kategori hubungan sedang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kegiatan pengembangan koleksi pada beberapa perguruan tinggi Islam Negeri di Jawa Barat dan Banten. Lokasi penelitian ini di lakukan pada tiga perpustakaan yaitu Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung, IAIN Sultan Maulana Hasanuddin Serang Banten serta Perpustakaan IAIN Syeh Nurjati Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Penelitian fenomenologi adalah sebagai studi tentang pengalaman yang datang dari kesadaran atau cara kita memahami sesuatu dengan secara sadar mengalami sesuatu tersebut. Sumber data dadalam penelitian ini meliputi data primer dan data sekunder. Sedangkan untuk teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa : 1). Mengenai rencana pengembangan koleksi perpustakaan dari ketiga perpustakaan perguruan tinggi Islam negeri tersebut terungkap dalam melakukan pengembangan koleksi berorientasi pada tuntutan, minat dan selera dari para pemustaka perpustakaan dengan tetap menjaga kualitas dari koleksi tersebut; 2). Alasan lain dilakukannya pengembangan koleksi ini adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi sivitas akademika.; 3). Tahap-tahap dalam pengembangan koleksi yang dilakukan oleh ketiga perpustakaan Islam negeri meliputi tahap analisis kebutuhan masyarakat, menyusn kebutuhan koleksi, melakukan seleksi, melakukan pengadaan koleksi; 4) Mengenai penangung jawab dalam melakukan kegiatan pengembanan koleksi adalah kepala perpustakaan dengan dibantu kepala tata usaha serta oleh staf bagian pengembangan koleksi. Kata Kunci : Koleksi, pengadaan bahan pustaka, Pengembangan koleksi, , perpustakaan perguruan tinggi tingi islam.

Abstract

Pangulu inauguration ceremony is an activity for appointment of traditional leaders that occurs in West Sumatera region. The strong oral tradition in Minangkabau region causes the lack of written works and documentation that has an impact oncultural preservation. This study aims to document the process of holding the pangulu in tanah tasirah in Kanagariah Lareh Nan Panjang, Padang Panjang City. The research method used is a qualitative method with an action research approach. This research also uses the documentation process model. Sources of data were obtained from interviews and document studies related to the pangulu inauguration ceremony. The result of the research is a product of cultural documentatuon in the form of a reference book. This cultural documentation book is available in two froms: printed and electronic (e-book). The results of the public test show that this cultural documentation book is easy for readers to understand.

Abstract

Arabic language learning at Madrasah Aliyah continues to face serious challenges, characterized by students’ limited vocabulary mastery, low speaking fluency, and difficulties in comprehending texts. These challenges are influenced not only by individual learner factors but also by diverse learning environment conditions. This study aims to comprehensively explore the interaction between internal factors, including motivation, basic linguistic competence, learning strategies, psychological conditions, and cognitive abilities, and external factors such as teacher competence, teaching methods, availability of learning media, family support, facilities, and curriculum policies. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with students and teachers, and analysis of instructional documents. The findings indicate that internal factors often serve as the initial trigger of learning difficulties, yet the quality of the learning environment determines whether these difficulties improve or develop into chronic obstacles. Monotonous teaching methods, less contextual learning materials, and limited opportunities for practice were found to reinforce the negative impact of internal factors. Conversely, appropriate external interventions, such as varied teaching methods, audio-visual media, and strong support from both family and school, can significantly enhance students’ motivation and skills. These findings affirm that difficulties in learning Arabic are multidimensional and interrelated, requiring effective interventions that integrate the strengthening of students’ internal strategies with systemic improvements in external aspects. This study provides a conceptual foundation for developing more adaptive instructional models and policies to improve the quality of Arabic language education at Madrasah Aliyah.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational philosophy from the perspectives of ontology, epistemology and axiology and examine its relevance for the development of Indonesian education in the digital era. The research uses a qualitative approach based on library research on the works of Ki Hajar Dewantara and relevant scientific literature. The data collection technique is a documentation method using written sources, both primary and secondary. There are several stages including data tracking, reading, recording and grouping data to facilitate the analysis process. Data analysis uses content analysis techniques to examine Ki Hajar Dewantara's educational paradigm and its implications in contemporary education. The results of the research show that ontologically Ki Hajar Dewantara views humans as virtuous creatures with the potential for creativity, taste and initiative which must be developed in a balanced way through education that guides the nature of nature and the nature of the times. Epistemologically, knowledge is understood as the result of students' experiences, interactions and reflections so that learning places students as active subjects and teachers as guides. Axiologically, education is directed at the formation of humans who are independent, characterized and cultured by emphasizing human values, freedom, example and social responsibility.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the form and meaning of the epistemology of liberation represented in Nawal el-Saadawi's novel The Woman at Point Zero using a philosophy of science perspective. The main focus of the study is on how literature functions not only as an aesthetic work but also as an epistemological medium that reflects the process of knowledge acquisition and human liberation from oppressive structures. This study uses a qualitative approach with hermeneutic analysis, which is applied through an in-depth interpretation of the novel's text to trace the development of the main character, Firdaus's, consciousness. The research data consists of narrative quotations and dialogues in the novel, which are analysed interpretively to reveal the relationship between life experience, knowledge, and power in the context of a patriarchal society. The results of the study show that the epistemology of liberation in this novel is reflected through the transformation of Firdaus' consciousness from passive knowledge shaped by social norms and male domination to active knowledge born of critical reflection and resistance. This knowledge serves as a means of emancipation, affirming that women's life experiences can be a legitimate epistemic source in constructing truth and self-awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an integrative model based on ontology, epistemology, and axiology (OEA) as a philosophical foundation for pesantren scientific management that is relevant to curriculum development and Islamic educational practices in the modern era. The research uses a library research approach with a layered philosophical hermeneutics method through a triple hermeneutic circle. Data sources include classical Islamic works, namely Iḥyā’ ’Ulūm al-Dīn by al-Ghazālī, Muqaddimah by Ibn Khaldun, Prolegomena by Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, and the concept of Maqāṣid al-Sharī’ah al-Shāṭibī, as well as 27 reputable scientific articles from the Scopus and SINTA databases ranked 3–6 published in the period 2019–2025. The results of the study show that pesantren scientific management is built on the integration of three main dimensions: ontological, which views knowledge as a unity of revelation, reason, and spirituality; epistemological, which emphasises scientific transmission based on sanad, scientific rigour, and epistemic awareness; and axiological, which is oriented towards character building and social responsibility. The resulting OEA model provides a conceptual and operational framework for the development of a holistic curriculum, relational pedagogy, and pesantren management that is adaptive to global and digital dynamics

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan representasi budaya Arab modern dalam lirik lagu ‘Zahgana’ karya Hala Al Turk dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Roland Barthes. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif, yang menganalisis makna lirik berdasarkan tiga tahapan makna Barthes, yaitu denotatif, konotatif, dan mitos. Data utama berupa teks lirik lagu yang dikaji secara mendalam untuk mengidentifikasi simbol-simbol budaya, nilai sosial, dan ideologi yang tersembunyi dalam kata-kata yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lagu ‘Zahgana’ merepresentasikan berbagai bentuk kegelisahan dan keterbatasan yang dialami oleh generasi muda Arab, terutama perempuan, dalam ruang domestik yang konservatif. Melalui pengulangan kata-kata seperti ‘طفشانة’ (bosan) dan ‘زهقانة’ (jenuh), lagu ini menyuarakan kejenuhan emosional dan keresahan terhadap peran gender yang kaku, pola asuh otoriter, serta minimnya ruang untuk berekspresi. Selain itu, ditemukan pula simbol-simbol perlawanan terhadap nilai tradisional. Lagu ini secara simbolik membongkar mitos bahwa rumah adalah tempat paling ideal bagi anak perempuan, dan justru menunjukkan bahwa rumah bisa menjadi sumber keterkungkungan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa lirik ‘Zahgana’ merupakan bentuk kritik sosial dan ekspresi budaya populer yang mencerminkan dinamika perubahan nilai di masyarakat Arab kontemporer, terutama terkait dengan kebebasan, kesetaraan, dan identitas generasi muda

Abstract

This study aims to analyze structural errors in Arabic found in undergraduate theses written by students of the Arabic Language and Literature Department at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung in 2014. The study was motivated by the continued presence of various grammatical mistakes in Arabic sentence writing, which should adhere to the rules of nahwu and sharaf (Arabic linguistics). The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method. Ten theses were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed to identify the types of errors and their underlying causes. The findings showed that the most frequent errors involved the incorrect use of i‘rab, mismatches between masculine and feminine forms, inconsistencies in idhafah and na‘t–man‘ut constructions, errors in noun usage, and mismatches between ‘adad (number) and ma‘dud (counted noun). The main factors contributing to these errors were the students’ limited mastery of Arabic grammar and interference from their first language. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening the teaching of nahwu and sharaf in academic writing, as this may help students minimize grammatical errors in future research.

Abstract

Background: Human communication, whether spoken or written, is fundamentally structured around clauses, with verbal clauses holding particular significance. This is equally true in literary works, where the complexities of verbal clauses given their varied types and functions are prominently displayed. Consequently, investigating these clauses is essential for a deeper comprehension of syntactic structures. Aims: This study aims to identify the types of verbal clauses based on their internal structure and their position within sentences, and to determine their functions in the source text. Methods: Employing a qualitative content analysis method, this research focuses on verbal clauses as the unit of analysis. The data source is the short story "Imraatun Ghalabat Al-Syaithan," from Taufiq Al-Hakim's anthology Arinillah. Data were collected through scrutinizing and note-taking techniques, and subsequently analyzed using translational and permutational methods. Results: The analysis revealed two primary categorizations. Based on internal structure, both complete and incomplete clauses were identified. Based on syntactic position, verbal clauses were found that either hold a grammatical position (al-jumlatu-lati laha mahallun minal-'irab) or are syntactically independent (al-jumlatu-lati la mahalla laha minal-'irab). Functionally, the verbal clauses served to express renewal and occurrence (li tajaddud wa huduts), continuous renewal (li tajaddud istimrariyah), and permanence/stability (li tsubut). Implications: This study underscores the critical role of syntactic units in shaping meaning and ensuring effective message delivery. A nuanced understanding of clauses and syntax is fundamental for achieving grammatically accurate and precise interpretation of sentences, both in literary analysis and broader linguistic study.
