Abstract

Pernikahan atau perkawinan dalam Undang – Undang Republik Indonesia Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang pernikahan (Indonesia, 2018) adalah ikatan lahir bathin seorang pria dan seorang wanita sebagai suami isteri membentuk sebuah keluarga yang bahagia dan kekal berdasarkan Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa. Pernikahan biasanya dirayakan dengan menggelar upacara resepsi pernikahan dengan mengikuti tata cara upacara adat yang ada sesuai dengan daerah pengantin. Masyarakat harus menjunjung tinggi nilai – nilai dan makna setiap prosesi pernikahan yang dituangkan dalam bentuk benda, perbuatan, hingga ke sajian, seperti dalam upacara pernikahan adat Ponorogo. Namun masyarakat datang ke acara resepsi pernikahan karena undangan tanpa memerhatikan dan mengetahui sakralnya makna setiap prosesi pernikahan. Masyarakat kurang mengetahui informasi karena minimnya sumber literatur tentang pernikahan adat Ponorogo. Metode perancangan milik Bruce Archer meliputi programming, Data Collection, Analysis, Syntesis, Development, dan Communication digunakan untuk merancang buku cerita bergambar memuat informasi tentang pernikahan adat Jawa Kabupaten Ponorogo. Buku ini dapat menjadi salah satu referensi budaya untuk masyarakat Kabupaten Ponorogo.

Abstract

Sambimulyo Village is a village in Bangorejo Sub-district, Banyuwangi Regency that has the potential of citrus fruit farming which requires a branding program to form its identity as a tourist destination. This branding program is carried out by forming a visual identity, developing tourism activities, developing typical products, developing areas, and empowering human resources to regulate tourism regulations. The design of the branding program was carried out using a qualitative method with the 2013 Alina Wheeler model starting from determining the topic, researching problems, clarifying strategies through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this branding program design are implemented in identity design in the form of a logo, and GSM (Graphic Standard Manual) which is applied to promotional media in the form of banners, billboards, brochures, social media content, and websites. Development of tourist areas and activities supported by making signage designs, backdrops, regular tickets, festival tickets, and festival posters. Making typical products supported by menu book design, product packaging, merchandise. And empowering the surrounding community by socializing the branding program, providing training, and coordinating to manage tourism.

Abstract

Folklore always exists in every region, including Indonesia. Folklore is a form of culture and/or history of a place to date. Therefore, existing folklore needs to be maintained by creating the latest literacy that adapts to current era and technology. One of them is by making adaptations of folk tales through digital comics based on internet sites, aka web comic. The aim is to make folklore relevant and easily accessible and become better known to the public. This research uses a qualitative method by referring to book that explaining the setting of the era when folklore occurred and relevant literature studies. Supporting media used as promotional material in this research include social media posting, posters, banners, tote bags, key chains, pins, mugs, hand-held fan.
