Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to increase the capabilities of BUMDes Argo Manik in managing coconut/aren sugar production from upstream to downstream to create innovative and productive villages, and increase greening of the environment in order to support tourism and environmental preservation. The method used is the delivery of material from resource persons who are competent in their fields related to problems that exist in the community and training according to the directions of the resource persons. The result of this activity is an increase in the quality of coconut/aren sugar products that have been produced and managed by BUMDes Argo Manik in supporting the tourism potential in Kalipelus Village which in turn can improve the economy of the Kalipelus Village community. The conclusion that can be drawn from this activity is that the role of academics is needed in order to participate in providing solutions to problems that occur in society. This activity can also be input for the formation of an academic climate in tertiary institutions, especially related to the people's economy.

Abstract

Research examining the determinants of export activities affecting economic growth during the pandemic is gaining global interest, particularly in Indonesia, which recently reduced its fuel subsidy as a unique case in this field. Hence, this study examines the role of export and macroeconomic conditions, including fuel price, exchange rate, and interest rate, in boosting Indonesia’s GDP during the crisis. We examine this relationship by conducting a structural equation model and path analysis on secondary data from 1995-2022. The result shows that both partially and simultaneously, fuel prices, exchange rates, and interest rates significantly affect exports. On the other hand, an increase in export activity improves Indonesian GDP. Thus, simultaneous control of fuel prices, exchange rate, interest rate, and export value can improve Indonesian GDP growth even during the crisis. Based on this result, this article proposes suggestions to the government for a stable fuel price, exchange rate, interest rate, and government policy to promote future economic growth.JEL Classification: E31, E43, F31, C32, O47How to Cite:Goestjahjanti, F. Abstract

Kegiatan PKM dilakukan di kampung tematik Drum Bujana, desa Pete, kecamatan Tigaraksa Kabupaten Tangerang mulai dari bulan Maret 2022 sampai dengan September 2022 yang diikuti oleh 5 orang dosen dan 6 mahasiswa dari semua jurusan. PKM diisi dengan berbagai kegiatan seperti sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, wokshop, fasilitasi dengan harapan pengetahuan masyarakat meningkat, motivasi, ketrampilan, pelayanan, pemasaran meningkat dan tercipta wirausaha-wirausaha baru yang dapat menampung lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat setempat. Dosen dan mahasiswa terjun secara langsung ke kampung tematik Drum Bujana dengan harapan dapat membawa beberapa perubahan yang ada di masyarakat kampung tematik Drum Bujana. Beberapa kegiatan telah dilakukan dengan baik dan antusias masyarakat sangat tinggi. Beberapa UMKM yang selama ini sudah tidak bergairah menjadi bangkit dan bergerak kembali

Abstract

Kabupaten Tangerang menjadi salah satu kota/kabupaten terpadat nomor empat di Indonesia dan penyokong sampah rumah tangga rata-rata 2.250 – 2.500 ton setiap harinya. Sampah rumah tangga menjadi persoalan yang sampai hari ini belum terselesaikan. Meskipun tersedia beberapa tempat pembuangan sampah (TPS) di Kabupaten Tangerang, namun belum sepenuhnya menjadi solusi dalam pengelolaan sampah di Kabupaten Tangerang. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dilakukan secara daring melalui zoom meeting dengan harapan jangkauan peserta lebih banyak dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga menjadi lebih maksimal. Mengubah dan mengurai sampah rumah tangga menjadi emas dan barang kerajinan untuk menambah income rumah tangga menjadi topik kegiatan PKM. Tujuan kegiatan PKM adalah memberikan edukasi dan pemahaman mengenai mengurai sampah rumah tangga dengan memilah-milah sesuai dengan jenisnya dan memanfaatkan sampah yang dapat didaur ulang menjadi emas. Menukar sampah rumah tangga dengan tabungan emas dan beberapa sampah dimanfaatkan untuk kerajinan tangan dalam bentuk bingkai, souvenir dan lainnya yang memiliki nilai ekonomi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat membantu masyarakat Kabupaten Tangerang untuk memanfaatkan sampah rumah tangga bernilai ekonomi.

Abstract

This research examines the role of Bank Muamalat Indonesia’s (BMI) operational efficiency and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) in affecting its profitability. This topic becomes more important considering the issue of the bank being hit by a drastic decline in profits. Collected data from quarterly financial reports published on the BMI's official website from 2013 to 2023, covering 44 observation periods. The data were analyzed using SPSS 27. The results indicate the negative effect of BOPO and the positive effect of FDR on ROA. Indicates that operational inefficiencies will suppress profitability. On the other hand, through increased funding distribution, banks will also benefit from the profit sharing obtained. So, if a bank wants to increase profitability, the two methods are operational efficiency and increasing FDR. This result suggested that Islamic banks must manage their operational income while controlling their operation costs to maintain operational efficiency. Also advised to maintain their bank’s performance by observing the financing options they offer for their customers. This finding is also expected, especially for policyholders at BMI, as an essential implication for getting out of the difficult situation.

Abstract

The M2 money supply over the last five years has tended to increase by 10-12%, which is allegedly due to macro factors, namely, low savings interest and increasing exchange rate requirements, causing rising inflation rates. This research aims to determine the influence of savings interest and the exchange rate on the money supply in Indonesia for the 2004-2023 period. The analysis technique used in this research is linear regression with annual time series data of 20 observation units. This simultaneous model has never been studied by previous researchers. The results of this research analysis provide information that every change in savings interest negatively affects the M2 Money supply by 78.60% and a significant, positive effect between the Exchange Rate and Money in circulation by 78.40%. Meanwhile, simultaneous changes in savings interest and exchange rates have a significant effect on changes in money supply in Indonesia and the influence is substantial at 91.20%. Therefore, the conclusion of this research is, that partially and simultaneously the proposed model exhibits a significant influence between savings interest and the exchange rate on the amount of money circulating in Indonesia. Therefore, it is crucial to pay attention to the current macroeconomic conditions concerning these two factors, especially the stability of the exchange rate, to ensure that it does not increase the money supply and inflation which may reduce people’s purchasing power in Indonesia.

Abstract

This activity aims to help solve the problems faced by business actors in the development of the Pasar Bahulak tourism village in Karungan Village, Plupuh District, Sragen Regency. This activity was realized through the collaboration of UNS, UNY, and UNIPI Tangerang, in collaboration with BUMDes Sinar Karungan Mandiri, and PT KAI. The method implemented in this community service activity is the delivery of materials and assistance in empowering products from pineapple plants. The result of this activity is an increase in the knowledge and understanding of business actors in the Bahulak Market regarding the importance of the edu-agrotourism concept in empowering businesses, the concept of cost accounting, empowering pineapple plants, and creating new business networks for BUMDes Sinar Karungan Mandiri. Thus, it can further increase the level of the economy in Karungan Village, Pupuh District, Sragen Regency.
