Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Imam Masjid dan para pegawai KUA Tombolo Pao dalam melakukan pengukuran Arah Kbilat Masjid dan Mushollah. Pengabdian telah dilaksanakan di Mushollah Madrasah Aliyah pada tanggal 14 Juni 2021. Pelatihan ini menggunakan media praktek Istiwa’Aini dengan menggunakan metode diskusi, demontrasi dan pendampingan yang dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan langsung penggunaan alat pengukur arah kiblat. Pengabdian yang dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan ini dibagi dalam 3 sesi yaitu Pemberian materi tentang Fiqih arah Kiblat, Problematika Arah Kiblat di Indonesia dan dilanjutkan dengan praktek penggunaan alat pengukur arah kiblat Istiwa’Aini dan Kompas. Peserta sebanyak 30 orang yang merupakan Imama Masjid Sekecamatan Tombolo Apo yang didampingi oleh seluruh pegawai KUA Tombolo Pao. Dalam kegiatan ini Imam masjid dilatih untuk memahami fiqih arah kiblat sebagai dasar mereka dalam menjawab problematika dimasyarakat tentang pentingnya menghadap ke kiblat dalam hal melaksanakan ibadah (Shalat). Selanjutnya Imam masjid kemudian dibekali dengan praktek penggunaan Alat Istiwa’Aini yang dikolaborasikan dengan Aplikasi Istiwa’Aini.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe 1) What the values ​​of Islamic education at Unismuh Middle School Makassar 2) How the values ​​of Islamic education implemented in prayer guidance at Unismuh Middle School Makassar. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. This research examines phenomena and events that occur in the lives of individuals and groups. Data collection instruments through observation and interviews. Data collection techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, data collection and verification. The research results prove that: 1) Unismuh Makassar Middle School has a strong commitment to integrating the values ​​of Islamic education in every aspect of student life. Through various approaches and strategies, this school strives for students not only to understand, but also to apply religious and moral values ​​in everyday life. The role of teachers in this school is very important, as teachers, role models, mentors and companions in the process of forming student character. They play an active role in conveying Islamic teachings, guiding students in practicing these values, as well as providing moral and spiritual support to students in their journey to understand Islamic values. 2), Coaching is an action and activity that functions to maintain and develop the potential that exists in students so that they can behave better. One of the guidance that needs to be given to students is prayer. In this case, prayer is how students can understand the prayer service. As is done at Unismuh Makassar Middle School, this prayer service is not just a ritual obligation but as a means of educating Islamic values ​​which can be implemented through prayer guidance and educational values. Prayer starts from faith/morals, worship and discipline.

Abstract

This study examines how learning interest and the learning environment influence students’ academic achievement in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at UPT SPF SD Inpres Panaikang II/1, Makassar. Education serves a vital role in shaping knowledgeable and morally grounded learners, and in PAI, success is determined by both internal and external factors. Despite existing research on these variables, studies focusing specifically on PAI at the elementary level remain limited. Preliminary observations revealed low interest in PAI and an insufficiently supportive learning environment, underscoring the need for empirical investigation. Using a quantitative descriptive design, data were gathered through observation, questionnaires, and documentation from 38 purposively selected fifth-grade students. Analytical procedures included instrument testing, multiple linear regression, and significance testing. Results show that students’ learning interest falls within a good category, the learning environment is considered high, and academic achievement in PAI is very good. Simultaneous testing indicates that learning interest and the learning environment together significantly influence academic achievement. However, partial analysis reveals that learning interest does not have a significant standalone effect, whereas the learning environment exerts a significant positive influence. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.243) indicates that both variables account for 24.3% of the variance in academic outcomes. The findings highlight the dominant role of external conditions in shaping PAI achievement. Enhancing supportive and interactive learning environments, supported by teacher initiatives and parental involvement, is essential for improving student performance. This study contributes to empirical understanding of the determinants of PAI learning success in elementary education.
