Abstract

This research aims to describe the meaning of the song Kurik Kundi by Suhaimi Zein. The analysis focuses on the connotative meaning and social values in the song. This research uses a qualitative approach. The data discussed are words, phrases, and clauses sourced from the Kurik Kundi song. The method used to collect data is observation and the data analysis method is the inductive method. The results of the research show the connotation meaning found in the songs. There are words and phrases indicating the relationship between words and phrases with social life and Malay culture. The social values ​​contained in the song of Kurik Kundi indicate the polite attitude of Malays towards fellow Malays and other people. Good manners in expressing the daily attitudes of Malay people. The enthusiasm in carrying out activities, and cooperation carried out by Malay people to achieve common goals in society.

Abstract

Pantun adalah puisi lama bentuk tradisi lisan melayu yang termasuk dalam warisan budaya tak benda. Di samping maraknya kegiatan berpantun di masyarakat, ditemukan bahwa pantun modern saat ini banyak terdapat penyimpangan dimana sebagian tidak mencerminkan nilai-nilai leluhur, tidak sesuainya jumlah larik dalam bait, jumlah kata dalam larik yang tidak menentu, sampiran tidak mengantarkan sisi pantun, serta tidak memperhatikan susunan rima pantun. Oleh karena itu, pada penelitian ini dibangun sistem rekomendasi pembuatan sampiran pantun menggunakan tail similarity. Dengan input dua baris isi, sistem akan memberikan rekomendasi sampiran yang sesuai dengan skema rima ab-ab dengan melakukan perbandingan urutan antara kata terakhir dari isi A & isi B dengan kata terakhir dari sampiran A & sampiran B dari seluruh pantun di basis data. Algoritma ini mampu memberikan rekomendasi sampiran pantun dengan tepat sesuai dengan kemiripan kata akhir.

Abstract

Humans are social creatures who cannot live alone. This requires a language that unites one individual with another, group with group, or individual with group. Language is an important component in a person's identity. Language is not only a means of communication, delivering messages, or even jokes. The influence of digital can create online communication. The purpose of this study is to find out how regional languages are used in online communities that affect the identity of their users. Through an analytical approach and literature study, researchers collected information from various journals or related articles. The results of the study show that regional languages can strengthen the identity of a region and its individuals. In addition, it also creates space for social solidarity and strengthening language communities. The results of this study in the form of a community of regional languages will revive regional languages that have faded. The existence of a new spirit in creativity in developing regional languages as local cultures will be able to reduce the rate of extinction of regional languages. Many regions have reused regional languages as everyday languages and are combined in learning. The conclusion of this study, a strong desire is needed to increase the protection of diverse cultures in Indonesia. 700 languages that must continue to be pursued in cultural defense. We need a young generation that is not embarrassed to use regional languages in everyday life.

Abstract

This study addresses the relationship between gender stereotypes and language abilities in children, investigating how gender stereotypes influence language development in the early stages of life. The research background reflects the complexity of the interaction between social and cultural norms in influencing language use and understanding. The aim of this research is to understand the impact of gender stereotypes on children's language interest and performance, taking into account factors such as the influence of the social, cultural and family environment. The research methods involved an in-depth literature review covering a wide range of empirical studies on gender and language stereotypes in children. The results of the discussion show that gender stereotypes have a significant influence on children's interest, motivation and language performance. The implications of this research are the importance of awareness of gender stereotypes in the context of children's education and development, as well as the need for efforts to reduce the negative impact of gender stereotypes in language learning.
