Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the selection process of candidate members of the Election Supervisory Committee (Panwas) Election in two districts and two cities in the province of Riau. The selection takes place in mid-2017, in response to Law No. 15 of 2011 on General Election. Moreover, Riau will hold the Elections to the Regions in 2018 and Legislative Election and the Presidential and Vice Presidential Election in 2019. The existence of Panwas is a necessity in the effort to make the election more qualified and produce leaders in accordance with the conscience of the people. But please note how transparency in the selection process of candidates for Panwas members who have a very big mandate in the nation's democratic process. Selection of Panwas member candidates should fulfill the element of transparency as a proof of the implementation of good governance.The method used in this research is qualitative research methods. Data collection is done by using primary data in the form of in-depth interviews to the informants.Purposive sampling is chosen to be a technique in getting informants in accordance with this research. In addition, secondary data derived from the Election Supervisory Agency and mass media documents also support and sharpen the case studies as the analytical blades in this study.

Abstract

LKM is the spearhead of the success of slums in urban poverty alleviation programs, especially in the area of Sri Meranti Village, Rumbai, Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the performance of the LKM in Sri Meranti Village, Rumbai, Pekanbaru.. The assessment takes place in 2018 (2017 performance audit) by comparing with secondary data that has been obtained in the LKM performance assessment results at the end of 2015 and the end of 2016. Qualitative research is the method chosen in this study. Data retrieval is done using primary data and secondary data related to the results of LKM performance appraisal compared during the last 3 (three) years work process. Data collection techniques are interviews, direct observation to the field and document review

Abstract

Good Governance is the new face of hearts implement the principles of Public Service in the reform era. Results of Research Singer nearly all the principles of good governance hearts Services Not Running In accordance with From UNDP as Principles of Participation, legal rules, Transparency, Responsiveness, consensus-oriented, fairness, effectiveness, accountability, and strategic vision, Many Are Being inhibit the progress of the Principles of good governance. The conclusion from the findings of research, so authors concluded that the application of good governance in the hearts Implementation Services Head Office Sail Maximum yet. It is because that the singer Leadership And yet the implementation of communication subordinate ones in line so that although Head Already Trying to give the Best but if NOT in Support By subordinates will Difficult accomplished. Lack of human resources is a prayer One That Become an inhibiting factor hearts implementation of the Principles of good governance in the future Head Office Sail.

Abstract

The Indonesian people are always faced with the problem of how to build a clean government and good (good governance and clean government ) . Bureaucracy is expected to be a motivator and as well as a catalyst of the passing of development, not able to perform its role as a modern bureaucracy not only promote the capacity to organize the tasks and functions of the organization , but also capable of responding to the aspirations of the public into the activities and programs of the organization and is able to bring new innovations aimed at facilitate the performance of the organization and as a part of the manifestation of the professional apparatus. In the perspective of public administration Indonesia known to a wide range of pathologies that make bureaucrats or officials are not professional in their duties and functions include low motivation to change and innovate. Given the urgency of the apparatus role in organizing role and function , it would need to be sought and formulated a strategic approach to build the new face of professional personnel that are reliable , responsive , flexible and innovative in providing services and procedural development implementation.This type of research is descriptive qualitative approach , data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and documentation . The selection of informants by using purposive sampling so didapatlah informants in accordance with the criteria. Further analysis of the data through the interpretation of ethics and EMIC is further elaborated in the study of governance in accordance with the governance discussion is being investigated.The results of the study of responsiveness and innovation apparatus Subdistrict Bukitraya well in order to give service to the community as well as in the implementation of the tasks that others have started to lead to the vision of districts Bukitraya namely the realization of the District Bukitraya The Professionals In The Governance and Service to Society , it's just not done optimally.
