Abstract

Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) as an essential requirement in facing the challenges of chapter 21. This research aims to increase HOTS and student involvement in the learning process. The Socratic Method (Socrated Method) prioritizes in-depth discussion or dialogue (deep dialoque), where learning (teacher/lecturer) conveys deep questions (deep quitning) encourages students to think at a higher level. The Socratic method also encourages students to be actively involved in the learning process. This classroom action research uses 3 (three) cycles of steps; 1) problem assistance, 2) action plan, 3) action evaluation. The subjects were 29 students who took Pancasila Education lectures. The results showed that after 3 (three) cycles of action, HOTS increased by 45%. While student involvement has increased by 59%. So it can be said that the Socratic method can increase HOTS and student involvement in the lecture process.

Abstract

Ideological issues have a huge impact. The unity and unityof the nation becomes a phenomenon related to the ideology of Pancasila, of course, the rules tha govern the life of the nation and state of Indonesia. When ideology is problematic of course the unity and unity of the nation becomes unshaven so that aspects of the life of the nation will be problematic. In the early stages, efforts to solve the problem is to diagnose the condition of millennial youth, whether they still hold firm to the values of unity and unity of the nation or not. So the resilience of Pancasila ideology in Indonesia especially sees abaout how the younger generation (Millennials) understand and implement Pancasila properly and correctly. The method of national insight in Tiron village of Banyakan districts of Kediri uses questionnaires to estimate how much insight the level of nationality. The results of the court (sosialization of national insight) from 25 participants of karang taruna show a high national insight. The conclusion shows that the license (sosialization of national insight) can improve national insight for millennial youth of Tiron Vilage, Banyakan district of Kediri regency

Abstract

The purpose of this research and development is to determine the validity and effectiveness of the development of interactive multimedia based on ethnomathematics material on the characteristics of flat shapes for fourth grade elementary school students. This research and development uses the ADDIE model which consists of the stages (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The subjects of this research were teachers and 27 fourth grade students of SDN Mrican 2. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of this research show that. (1) The results of the material expert validity test were 94% with very valid criteria and media experts 78% with valid criteria. (2)The results of the limited test student effectiveness test obtained an average of 84.2% and the broad test student effectiveness test obtained an average of 83.5%. Both effectiveness assessments obtained a very effective category. It can be concluded that the Ethnomathematics-Based Interactive Multimedia on the Characteristics of Flat Shapes for Grade IV Elementary School Students is stated to be very effective for use in learning the material on the characteristics of flat shapes in grade IV SDN Mrican 2.
