Abstract

Rasau Jasa merupakan satu diantara wilayah di Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Penyelenggaraan pendidikan di Kubu Raya khususnya Rasau Jaya yang terlaksana sama dengan di sekolah-sekolah lainnya. Akan tetapi dalam pelayanan pendidikan belum berjalan dengan maksimal. Upaya perbaikan dan pelayanan pada bidang pendidikan terus dilaksanakan. Permasalahan dalam bidang pendidikan yang terjadi di lapangan yaitu keterbatasan buku sebagai sumber baca, kurangnya penggiat di bidang literasi, khususnya di Desa Rasau Jaya Satu, kurangnya kesadaran minat baca dan menulis masyarakat terutama anak-anak, dan kecenderungan masyarakat Rasau Jaya Satu terutama anak-anak pada gawai daripada aktifitas membaca dan menulis. Solusi secara umum pada permasalahan tersebut adalah mengaktifkan kembali rumah pintar sebagai pusat literasi Rasau Jaya. Selain itu, solusi secara khusus dari permasalahan tersebut adalah tersedianya buku-buku terutama yang bermuatan kearifan lokal sebagai sumber baca, terbentuknya tim relawan desa yang mengelola rumah pintar tersebut, masyarakat khususnya anak? anak memahami tentang cara membaca dan menulis yang benar, dan masyarakat khususnya anak-anak mampu membuat tulisan berupa cerita pendek ataupun puisi. Luaran kegiatan PKM untuk pihak mitra yaitu berlangsungnya rumah pintar, adanya tim relawan desa, ketersediaan buku bacaan, kemampuan membaca dan menulis meningkat pada masyarakat khususnya anak-anak, dan keterlibatan masyarakat khususnya anak-anak dalam perlombaan mengenai menulis.

Abstract

This study was to investigate negation constructions in STAKat Negeri Pontianak students’ Indonesia-English translation. The participants were 78 students of semester 2, 4 and 6 in STAKat Negeri Pontianak in academic year 2021. The descriptive method was applied in this study in order to describe and analyze the constructions in negation. The tool of data collection was translation tes by preparing sentences in Indonesia and asking the students to translate them into English. There were 5 for each sentence in Present tense, Past tense, Modal, Progressive tense and Perpect tense. Based on finding, the students faced difficulties in demontrating the formula of each tense. Many of them still make ungramatical negation. The percentages of those are 80% in present perfect tense, 60.8% in past tense (60.8%), 50% in present progressive tense, 40.8% in present tense, and 29% occurs in modal. The highest ungrammatical constructions of singular case are tenses. The tenses mistake in present tense is 26.3% out of 40.8%, past tense is 55.9% out of 60.8%, present perfect tense is 70% out of 80%, present progressive tense is 47% out of 50%, and modal is 23.7% out of 29% ungrammatical negation construction.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe and explain the mathematics teacher’s lived experience in delivering materials using English as the medium of instruction. This study covered five aspects of lived experience, which are understanding, belief, feeling, intention and action. This study used the qualitative approach and the case study as the design of the study. The subject of the study was a mathematics teacher who taught seven grade students at an immersion school. To collect the data, the writer used observation and interview as the instrument as well as some related documents as the secondary data. The teacher’s understanding was interpreted through her mastery of the subject of the study and the language acquisition. The teacher believed that she could teach the students well and do her best, however inconfidence, nervousness, and feeling under-pressure of teaching emerged several times. From the teacher’s understanding, belief, feeling, and intention, it could influence the teacher’s action in the classroom. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the teacher’s preparation is important for teaching. It brings big influence to the students, especially the students’ comprehension of the materials. Therefore, the teacher should be well prepared before she teaches in the real class.

Abstract

This study was to investigate the non – English students’ error in using pronouns at STAKat Negeri Pontianak. The participant of this research were 40 students of seconds semester in academic year 2022. This research used descriptive research to gather the information and analyzed the result of the test. The result of the data gathered from the test that was given to the students through Google Form.  Based on the analysis, the students wrote 53,98% correct answer and 46.02% of the students still made errors in using pronouns. There were 4.4% errors were found in the used of subjective pronouns, 13.90% errors were found in the used of objective pronouns, 12.81% errors were found in the used of possessive pronouns, and 16.56% errors were found in the used of reflexive pronouns. The lowest errors were found in the used of subjective pronouns, and the highest error was found in the used of reflexive pronouns.Keywords: Non – English Students, Errors, Pronouns, clearly, professionally

Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to describe English loanwords in Indonesian. The study covers English loanwords from the process of adaptation and adoption. The data had been collected from some literations and the former researches. Adaptation occurs in the rules of the Indonesian language i.e. spelling rules, word structure, pronunciation, and sentence structure. Meawhile, Adoption is to pick up English words as Indonesian words original patterns. Through the methods, ILLs may easily learn indonesian language both writing and speaking. Spelling and Pronunciation adaptions consist of  275 words and Spelling adaptions without Pronunciation adaptions of 78 worrds. It means at most 353 words  through adapation. In addition, English adaptation also occur in Indonesian language. It occurs by taking the same meaning, spelling, pronunciation of 42 words and while the other by the same meaning, spelling, different pronunciation is of 32 words.

Abstract

Practical Pastoralism is a fundamental thing that can shape oneself and the source of ministry. Through practical pastoral care, you can train yourself and deepen spirituality, which is a believer's relationship with God through individual and group life practices through various manifestations in attitudes and actions. Distinctive or unique practical pastoralism is always associated with a person's experience of cultural and religious values and beliefs, as well as certain social, economic, political and ideological values and beliefs which are always associated with their calling in life and the values they adhere to. The spirit that underlies the pattern of life and behavior as well as the way of working is greatly influenced by the calling in life through which they find the special meaning and meaning of their lives. Catholic schools, as educational institutions that are inseparable from the influence of the Church, form students in the formation of a spiritual life through practical pastoral care and getting used to being involved in the life of the church and society. The role of PAK teachers is to transfer knowledge and faith values to their students. These teachers must be role models for each individual student. An example is a characteristic for every individual who is able to make decisions and is responsible for the way they think and behave regarding the decisions they make. Practical pastoral forms that familiarize students so that they are involved in church and community life in everyday life as a form of actualization as well as basic training in instilling the values of Faith that live in the midst of the Church and society

Abstract

Pembinaan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru Pendidikan Agama katolik terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik pada Yayasan Pengabdi Sesama Manusia di Kota Singkawang. Peningkatan kemampuan guru terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pendidikan menjadi penting karena karakter itu sendiri tidak hanya melibatkan pengetahuan yang baik (moral knowing), tetapi juga merasakan dengan baik atau loving good (moral feeling), dan perilaku yang baik (moral action). Dalam konteks Pembelajaran Agama Katolik, penguatan nilai-nilai karakter perlu dilakukan secara holistik melibatkan aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikotorik peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah katekese dengan model Shared Christian Praxis (SCP) kepada para guru PAK. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam PAK dan implementasi hidup sehari-hari. Keberhasilan pembinaan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi peningkatan kemampuan guru PAK terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik dapat meningkatkan keteladanan guru PAk, hubungan yang positif antara guru dan peserta didik, orangtua, serta integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam kurikulum dan kegiatan sekolah merupakan faktor kunci dalam pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Katolik.

Abstract

This research based on the problems about catholic religion literacy, impact, obstacles and challenges toward students’ character building in vocational school. This research aimed to be solution for Catholic religion literacy at school which bring impact to the students’ character building at vocational school in Pontianak. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The sources of the data were primary data, they were the result of interview and the secondary data were the result of observation of Catholic religion literacy. The finding of the researchs howed the process of Catholic religion literacy started from some stages, start from the schedule of Catholic religion literacy, time and place of literacy activity, and the people involve in the literacy activity and the media used. The literacy activity such as reading activity, material session, and catholic religion literacy assessment. The religion literacy at vocational school brought good impact to the students. The result of the religion Catholic activity raised the reading interest, found the source of religion references on the media, and gave impact toward students’ character building to be better.

Abstract

Pembinaan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan Panca Tugas Gereja yang disebut juga dengan istilah aspek hidup menggereja untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran dan keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa Katolik di Kota Pontianak. Peningkatan keterlibatan mahasiswa Katolik melalui penguatan apek hidup menggereja menjadi penting karena pengungkapan dan perwujudan iman itu sendiri tidak hanya melibatkan pengetahuan yang baik (moral knowing), tetapi juga merasakan dengan baik atau loving good (moral feeling), dan perilaku yang baik (moral action) melalui aspek hidup menggereja. Dalam konteks keterlibatan hidup menggereja, penguatan nilai-nilai hidup menggereja perlu dilakukan secara holistik sampai implementasi dalam hidup sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan adalah katekese dengan model Shared Christian Praxis (SCP) yang dikembangkan oleh Thomas Groome kepada para mahasiswa Katolik di Kota Pontianak. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterlibatan partisipatif untuk mengintegrasikan aspek-aspek hidup menggereja dalam hidup sehari-hari dimana ia berada. Keberhasilan pembinaan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa Katolik terhadap penguatan aspek-aspek hidup menggereja dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran dan keterlibatan aktif, spiritualitas atau relasi rohani yang baik, hubungan yang positif antara mahasiswa dengan lingkup paroki, dan orangtua serta umat di lingkungan kampus, lingkungan sekitarnya, serta terintegrasi pula dengan nilai-nilai karakter dalam dan kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan desain e modul Pendidikan Agama Katolik dan Budi Pekerti untuk mendukung kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama dengan tingkat kedewasaan peserta didik yang lebih rendah, sehingga kesadaran untuk belajar secara mandiri juga lebih rendah. Oleh karena itu, guru perlu menciptakan perangkat mengajar menarik yang dapat mendukung kemandirian belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan pra observasi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Pontianak, peneliti menemukan bahwa sekolah tersebut belum pernah menggunakan e modul dalam proses pembelajaran PAK hanya menggunakan buku pegangan guru dan peserta didik. Selain itu buku pendukung yang digunakan sangat minim dikarenakan guru mengusahakan sendiri buku untuk menunjang proses belajar mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara bersama guru Pendidikan Agama Katolik di sekolah tersebut, disampaikan bahwa proses pembelajaran masih berpusat pada guru. Sehingga peserta didik masih kurang optimal dalam belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian R&D (Reseach and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Penelitian ini terbatas hanya sampai uji coba kepraktisan pengembangan e modul. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri Kota Pontianak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observai dan lembar angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Hasil uji coba dalam penelitian ini pada 5 SMP di Pontianak dengan sampel yang diambil penggunaan angket sebanyak 78 peserta didik. Perolehan dari sebaran angket respon peserta didik menunjukkan indikasi kebermanfaatan 4,80, kemudahan 4,68, dan kepuasan 4,74. Ditambahkan dengan angket respon guru menunjukkan indikasi keefektifan 4,7, interaktif 5, efisien 4,6 dan kreatif 4,62. Dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan e modul PAK dan Budi Pekerti berpengaruh untuk mendukung student’s self learning peserta didik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan e modul dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Katolik sangat valid dan praktis untuk digunakan.
