Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui unsur pembentukan kehidupan rohani yang terimplementasikan terhadap karakter calon guru PAK. Bentuk penelitian  kualitatif menggunakan teknik pengamatan, wawancara mendalam dan melakukan dokumentasi yaitu mahasiswa/i dan pengajar di STAKat Negeri Pontianak. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah pembentukan hidup rohani terhadap calon guru PAK yang belum optimal, pemahaman para calon guru PAK terkait dengan aspek-aspek pembentukan hidup rohani masih tergolong rendah, sarana pembentukan rohani yang kurang memadai, metode yang tidak variatif, serta kurangnya pendampingan dan katekese dari pihak lembaga. Selain itu mahasiswa kurang terlibat dalam kegiatan-kegiatan rohani dan pembinaan yang mendukung perkembangan imannya. Penelitian ini menghasilkan upaya dilakukannya Focus Group Discussion (FGD) terkait dengan pembentukan hidup rohani terhadap karakter para calon guru PAK demi peningkatan bobot rohani dan kepribadian calon guru PAK itu sendiri melalui praktik atau penerapan aspek-aspek pembentukan hidup rohani, yaitu; hidup doa (doa pribadi dan doa bersama), kitab suci (renungan, refleksi, meditasi, bacaan rohani lainnya), Liturgi yang dihayati (Ibadat, dengan Ekaristi sebagai puncaknya). Hidup rohani seperti doa dalam kelompok komunitas, doa secara pribadi, baca kitab suci sambil melaksanakan meditasi, melaksanakan silensium, merenungkan kitab suci dan juga berdoa menggunakan referensi doa lainnya, merayakan liturgi baik perayaan sabda maupun perayaan ekaristi kudus sebagai puncak dari semua perayaan liturgi. Dari FGD yang dilakukan kemudian didapatkan hasil; penjadwalan kegiatan pembentukan hidup rohani dan melibatkan semua pemangku yang berdampak pada kegiatan tersebut.

Abstract

The family is the first and foremost educator in terms of faith and noble values through the relationships that occur both between husband and wife, parents and children, and relationships between children. This study aims to find three concepts of parents as priests, prophets and kings. Researchers conducted qualitative research with the results of observations, interviews and documentation used by researchers to determine the implementation of the family as the household church of the parish of St. Peter and Paul Kabanjahe. The informants used were 15 families consisting of 15 parents and 15 children. The data analysis process uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. Based on the findings of the researchers, the implementation of the family as a household church has not been fully implemented due to a lack of family understanding of the real household church. In this case the family emphasizes physical life rather than spiritual life. The recommendation in this study is that it is necessary to carry out catechesis to build parents' understanding as a household church in children's education.

Abstract

Practical Pastoralism is a fundamental thing that can shape oneself and the source of ministry. Through practical pastoral care, you can train yourself and deepen spirituality, which is a believer's relationship with God through individual and group life practices through various manifestations in attitudes and actions. Distinctive or unique practical pastoralism is always associated with a person's experience of cultural and religious values and beliefs, as well as certain social, economic, political and ideological values and beliefs which are always associated with their calling in life and the values they adhere to. The spirit that underlies the pattern of life and behavior as well as the way of working is greatly influenced by the calling in life through which they find the special meaning and meaning of their lives. Catholic schools, as educational institutions that are inseparable from the influence of the Church, form students in the formation of a spiritual life through practical pastoral care and getting used to being involved in the life of the church and society. The role of PAK teachers is to transfer knowledge and faith values to their students. These teachers must be role models for each individual student. An example is a characteristic for every individual who is able to make decisions and is responsible for the way they think and behave regarding the decisions they make. Practical pastoral forms that familiarize students so that they are involved in church and community life in everyday life as a form of actualization as well as basic training in instilling the values of Faith that live in the midst of the Church and society

Abstract

Society service (PKM) about PAK dan Budi Pekerti teachers training toward student’s character building during Covid-19 pandemic at catholic elementary school in Pontianak was an output of the previous research and was motivated by the education reality that is influenced by Covid -19 pandemic which caused the changing of the learning system from offline to online. The learning system changing influenced student’s character building where the PAK teachers could not educate the student’s character education directly at school. This training was aimed to give PAK dan Budi Pekerti Teachers guidance at catholic elementary school in Pontianak so that they always motivated and enthusiastic to do their duty and always attempt to teach the students by considering to the student’s character education during this Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) tentang Pergeseran Nilai Budaya Daerah; Agama, Bahasa dan Tradisi di Era Digital ini, merupakan suatu bentuk upaya memberikan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat dalam lingkup kecil. Kegiatan ini juga sebagai bentuk perhatian oleh tim terkait dengan pentingnya membudayakan nilai-nilai agama, bahasa dan tradisi daerah di tengah perkembangan zaman dan era digital yang semakin maju. Perkembangan zaman dan era digital ini mengakibatkan perubahan pada aspek-aspek kehidupan bermasyarakat yang dapat mempengaruhi pola hidup, cara berpikir dan hidup sosial dalam bermasyarakat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan suatu bentuk sosialisai atau pembinaan bagi masyarakat daerah di Desa Binjani, Sintang- Pontianak, disamping perkembangan zaman dan era digital yang semakin maju dan canggih, nilai-nilai agama, bahasa dan tradisi dalam daerah tidak menjadi hilang melainkan terpelihara dan senantiasa bijak dalam mempraktikkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dalam segala aspek hidup bermasyarakat.

Abstract

Pembinaan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru Pendidikan Agama katolik terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik pada Yayasan Pengabdi Sesama Manusia di Kota Singkawang. Peningkatan kemampuan guru terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai karakter dalam pendidikan menjadi penting karena karakter itu sendiri tidak hanya melibatkan pengetahuan yang baik (moral knowing), tetapi juga merasakan dengan baik atau loving good (moral feeling), dan perilaku yang baik (moral action). Dalam konteks Pembelajaran Agama Katolik, penguatan nilai-nilai karakter perlu dilakukan secara holistik melibatkan aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikotorik peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah katekese dengan model Shared Christian Praxis (SCP) kepada para guru PAK. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam PAK dan implementasi hidup sehari-hari. Keberhasilan pembinaan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi peningkatan kemampuan guru PAK terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai karakter peserta didik dapat meningkatkan keteladanan guru PAk, hubungan yang positif antara guru dan peserta didik, orangtua, serta integrasi nilai-nilai karakter dalam kurikulum dan kegiatan sekolah merupakan faktor kunci dalam pendidikan karakter di Sekolah Katolik.

Abstract

The creativity of church administrators in homily in Stasi Santo Bonaventura Situnggaling Paroki Santo Fransiskus Asisi Saribudolog became the orientation or concern in this research because the Medan Archdiocese Church tried to educate the laity through pastoral functionaries taking an active part, especially in leading the celebration of the word on Sundays without faith and giving homilies. This approach uses three techniques, including interviews with informants directly with listening techniques, data collection through observation, and supporting documents as part of the documentation. The stages of data analysis began with data reduction, displaying data, and testing the truth of the data by triangulating techniques and sources. Efforts made with this approach found two essential aspects of the creativity of Church administrators in domicile, which are used as findings: (1) Church administrators have creativity in presenting homilies, especially the use of props, although not yet optimal, body language: facial expressions, body gestures, voice intonation and dialogue contact with the congregation. (2) Homilies bear fruit for the faithful in this parish, such as churchgoers who experience a deep understanding of the meaning of the word of God for life, experience the presence of God in life now, and change life in true repentance. People feel prosperity in life. However, many people in this Stasi still have not been able to make homilies good fruitsin their daily lives.

Abstract

This article explores Umpasa and umpama of Batak Toba culture as a means of catechesim within Chatolic curches. The work uses qualitative methods with observation, interview and documentation. Descriptive analysis technique is employed based on the triangulation results of techniques and sources. The study targeted 20 adults, 3 Batak Toba cultural practitioners, and 2 priests and bishops who were on the island of Samosir Lake Toba. The work suggests that churches that live and develop today are based on tradition. Tradition is meant to include everything (such as customs, beliefs, habits, teachings, and so on) that is downwardly inhereited. One of the traditions of Batak Toba that is still preserved to this day is umpasa and umpama. This tradition is considered wise because it is used for prayers, petitioning God, and giving advices. Umpasa or umpa has always been used in the teaching of the Medan Catholic Church to the community of Batak Toba in Samosir and its surroundings and has truly become a model of church catechesis, not only by the society of Batak Toba but also as a model for catechism. The work is based on church studies within the Archdiocese of Medan.

Abstract

A Church teaching that presents more specifically Mary as a model in divine worship is Marialis Cultus. This apostolic letter, promulgated by Pope Paul VI on February 2, 1974, aims to promote the veneration of the Blessed Virgin Mary especially in divine worship. The Marialis Cultus clearly shows the virtues of the virgin Mary, namely humility which is shown by listening to the Word of God and carrying it out, always praying and expressing her hopes to God. This research uses a literature study approach by collecting various primary and secondary references related to the Marialis cultus document, catechesis on Mary as a model of the Church and analyzing the text and context of the Catholic Church today regarding the implementation of catechesis on Mary. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing from various references used. The findings in this study are that the Church sees that the actual situation carried out by the people is really concerning, for example: The people have not fully opened themselves to God, humility has not been truly realized so that some people have not listened to the word and implemented it, or listened only to the mind not to the heart, praying just praying without effort and perseverance. So that one solution to answer the situation of this kind of people is the catechesis of the people about Mary which is sourced from the Marialis Cultus document.
